Had four tires done here and also bought the warranty. I had two tires so far go flat and was able to utilize the warranty. However I did have to pay the difference in the cost of the tire from the price I originally purchased them. The first time was like $90 and the second was a $150 difference. It is still better than paying the full price I suppose. Service was good but you will need to be proactive and call to see if your tire comes in if they order it. Chances are it came in sooner. They are good about calling when your tire is ready. read more

1 guy at customer service. Long line. They don't do alignment or check brackets. Very basic tire service. I would not recommend.

The team at the Tracy Costco Tire Center took us in 9 minutes to closing and were so incredibly kind as to stay past closing to patch our tire. Without them, we would've had to find a hotel for the night as we were just passing through. Could not recommend them more! read more

I have to say, I'm surprised to see all the negative reviews for the Costco tire center. My cat was past due for some new tires... and when I seen the rain in this weeks forecast I knew it was time. Called same day and they were able to fit us in. The gentleman at the counter made sure we understood the differences , Pros and Cons of the different options. We ended up selecting the highest end Michelin tire they had in stock. The exact tires I have would've been a 10 day wait for them to get them in and at this point in my life, I just need to get things done when I have the opportunity. They called about 4 hours later and let us know the car was ready for pick up. Costco uses nitrogen to fill tires instead of compressed air which retains better tire pressure overtime. They also offer an extensive Costco warranty and lifetime maintenance. Their maintenance package includes new valve stems with each service, inflation, rotations, balancing and repairs. To top the experience off I felt like we got a great deal. Not only are the Costco tires competitively priced (and they were on sale) but I was able to use 2 years of executive membership rewards that I always forget to use... and apply them to the purchase! Expect a 1.5 to 2 hour wait with an appointment. I brought my vehicle in to get new tires put on. Received a call midway through service saying that if they round off a lug nut that they will stop service. I'll say that yes my lug nuts do look different from the usual and are fluted but I've taken them off multiple times myself and had no issues. I brought back my vehicle a few days later as my steering wheel was shaking while braking. I appreciate that Justin took the time to double check that the wheels were properly balanced checked other things on the vehicle. Minus one star for the guy that needs to use power tools for everything and didn't want to take the care when taking off someones lug nuts. Overall decent experience. read more

I will never purchase tires from Tracy Costco Tire center again. The tires I purchased two years ago are excellent. However the techs could not balance the tires properly when they were purchased. I went back two weeks after purchase and had them try again, still the tires were not balanced. I ended up going to Les Schwab and paid to have the tires properly balanced, there went any money I saved by going to Costco Tire center. Now I had a tire with a puncture and leaking air. I made an appointment and arrived early, I asked for tires to be rotated while I was there and the request was listed on the work order. One hour after the appointment time, the tire was patched and car returned. However, when I walked to my car it was obvious that the tires had not been rotated as there was a chalk x marking the puncture point was on the same tire that had the original puncture. These guys barely know what they are doing. I hope the patch holds. When I dropped off the car keys, I was told that I was 20 minutes early and they would not start working on my car until the appointment time....... in my opinion, it was kind of a rude comment. Maybe he was just trying to not have me expect my car returned early. Done with this Tracy Costco Tire Center, not worth the savings. read more

Eric and his team are seriously some of the best around. Customer service is definitely something these guys all understand and they always go above and beyond. I have purchased two complete sets of tires from them for two different vehicles and I couldn't be happier with the service these guys provide. Trust that it doesn't end with the purchase of the tires. Any issues I have had from low tire pressure to a couple of flats have been quickly repaired and checked out by the team and I appreciate them for that. Keep it up guys and thanks again! read more

This is by far the worst and unfriendly Costco that I have ever been to in the last 20 years. From the people at the doors to the gas station attendants. The employees and management at this location feels entitled to be rude and abusive towards their customers. I have had amazing experience at Redwood City, San Francisco and Fremont. But no matter how many times I have tried to reach out to Management, it just keeps getting worse. I hate this place so much that I have reached out to Sams Club to open a location here so that we could have a better choice. read more

We went to Tracy to have our tires replaced on all 4 wheels and tires sensors. We need them replace right away before going on a 14 hour trip and Costco in Tracy has an available appointment. Tires and sensors replaced but we were told that the sensors can't be reset because their equipment is broken and to come back. Therefore, the error light that shows I have flat tire still shows on the dashboard. So we called Antioch the next day where we usually go shopping and they said they'll reset it for us. Antioch tire center told us that Tracy location should have done easily by resetting the sensors through their computer. It only took 5 mins for them to reset. Then after we've travelled for 14 hrs, we noticed that one of the front tire's hubcap is missing and we thought that we've lost it during our long drive. But I have a hint that Tracy tire center did not put it back and so my husband called. For sure, they have it and kept it. After our long trip, we came back and have it put back. They did not call us to let us know that they neglected to put one of the hubcap and just waited for us to call. read more

Ugh! Wish I never purchased tires here because tire rotation comes free when you do and now I know why! They take forever, anytime I call it's a "2 or more hour wait!" The customer service is non-existent and I stood in line for 5 minutes listening to the guy answering all the phone calls before he even acknowledged I was here! Either they're short staffed or just don't give a $hit!? Yah, prices are good but I'd seriously rather pay a $20 to not have to wait more than two hours for a tire rotation. Next purchase of new tires will definitely NOT be Costco. I'll just leave that to my bulk groceries. read more

Worst service I've ever received... first they tried charging me more than I should've and had an appt at a certain time and they didn't work on my car until an hour later... no apologies on the wait or anything.. Worst tire center I've EVER been to. The last 2 times we've bought tires they say they'll call us when they come in, we never got a call, waited a week then decided to call them & of course the tire was in. Wait time with an appointment an hour & a half. The manager Eric was terrible as far as customer service. I waited 20 minutes while he was with the customer in front of me and when he finally finished, he said "I'm going to get someone to help you" & walked away. Are you f'n kidding me?! I've been a Costco executive member for over 10 years. Nearly 2 weeks ago, I ordered the whole set of 4 Michelin tires' and the installation service (balance test included) at Tracy Costco Tire Center (Order Date: 07/30/2018, Invoice#: XXXXXX4746, Time In: 10:02:43), but found all the 4 tires' screws became loose within only 2 weeks. At first I thought I didn't set the backup tire firmly because I found it's very noisy from the back side when driving on the freeway these two days. However, I found it's still very noisy and it became louder and louder from the backside to the front side today even when I was driving at the local, furthermore, the whole auto body was dramatically shaking. Therefore I've been realizing there must have very serious issue with my car because I've already emptied all the stuffs out of the trunk last night. After inquiring them with the recorded abnormal sound clips and being diagnosed by the other nearby auto shop, the mechanics said that all the 4 tires' screws were very loose and can even unscrewed by hands! Later I came back to the Tracy Costco Tire Center for the reason yesterday (08/16/2018 15:30pm), a young customer representative at the front desk answered indifferently that the loose-screws tires were not relevant with their installation service directly because they have very standard work process, and will report it to the manager after I requested him to do that, but he didn't get any contact information from me and even threw the receipt back to me. Even their superior cannot answer me directly up to now. I CAN'T BELIEVE THEIR BAD ATTITUDE AND ARE SO COLD TO THE CUSTOMERS' LIVES BECAUSE ALL MY WHOLE FAMILY JUST EXPERIENCED ALL THIS ON THE FREEWAY AND WE MIGHT NEARLY LOST IN A VERY DANGEROUS ACCIDENT OR MIGHT HURT OTHERS' LIVES. CAN YOU BE SERIOUS?! DEAR TRACY COSTCO TIRE CENTER!!! And I hope my bad experiences can be aware to either the shoppers or my friends, the other customers and it could save your life!
