I am a loyal customer to costco. I have been coming here for years and always treat myself to the yummy pizza after I finish shopping. However, I went there tonight and as i was standing in line for my pizza, i noticed a lady at the register.. couldnt really get her name because it was covered by her apron but I saw the first few letters... Koda? I'm assuming is her name... anyway, she is the rudest employee I've encountered at costco. She said "next member please".. the customer didn't hear her so she YELLED it this time "NEXT MEMBER PLEASE!!" and literally rolled her eyes like she was annoyed that she had to repeat herself. I watched her as she took the customers order and she had a straight face the whole time... no "thank you" "have a nice day".. nothing. I obviously won't stop coming here but I hope management looks further into this because everyone I've met there is always SO nice. She makes costco look bad! read more

Very organized Costco ! Probably the only costco I ever seem to get their lines moving pretty quickly (wished I worked here) lol.. very friendly people .. positive attitudes and easy to get through the store .. no complains for sure !! The food restaurant always gets a little too packed but what do you expect when they sale amazing pizzas, ice creams and hot dogs!! Love this place though! For all my needs :) read more

I do not have a problem with the Costco store in Lancaster,I have always had a good experience.this is meant for the tire center. I have gotten two flat tires and both times they accused me of lying about what happened and said it was vandalism. The first time I it was a broken bottle that cut the side,I can see why they thought that. But today on the freeway in the rain I hit a rock and spent an hour in the rain and mud to change my tire.went there to get a new tire and they accused me of lying. I was covered in mud,I didn't do that to make up a story.I don't appreciate being called a liar especially after the kind of morning I've had. I know what a flat tire feels like if it was flat then I never would have gotten on the freeway. I will NEVER get tires from this location EVER AGAIN. if you have a flat and the damage doesn't look a certain way they will call you a liar too. read more

This store always has the best produce and great selection of items. Today, for the first time in 10 years, we had a not so great encounter with one of their staff at the door. I realize everyone has a bad day, but regardless of giving them the benefit of the doubt, what the employee said was completely inappropriate, especially since it was said in front of children. When I called and spoke with the assistant manager to let her know what had happened, she went above and beyond to make things right. Now a days, there are so many Costco stores popping up - but this one continues to earn our business. Thank you! read more

We are totally happy with Costco and their return policy. It is wonderful. I bought a bath tub through them and returned it a year later for full refund. It was defective and never installed,we were in a custom build on a new home. You cannot beat that company and the weight they cary to back their products. I hope this policy never changes. That's one reason we pay those annual card renewal fees and continue to be a member. read more

I just want to give credit to the amazing food court staff at this Costco in Lancaster. The other day, I noticed only 3-5 employees working during lunch rush hour. I noticed there was a long line with 2 registers opened and I still took the chance to wait about 20 mins in line. Usually I would never wait that long for a slice of pizza but I have to admit Costco pizza is the absolute BEST! Even though I had to wait a much longer time than usual, the employees working that day were beyond amazing. I was greeted in a pleasant manner and I spent less than 2 minutes at the register paying and getting my food. Their system where someone else gets the food is what makes it faster and convenient. Kuddos to Teddy and Celina that were working the front of the kitchen that day. While I waited for my whole pizza, was told a 20 minute wait, I enjoyed my hot dog and my granddaughter enjoyed her warm and tasty churro. About 15 mins I decided to walk to the window and take my chance of 5 minutes early to see if my pizza was ready. I ordered a half pepperoni pizza and half cheese. I forgot to ask for double cut on my cheese side only. I saw a girl with glasses running back and forth from the pizza oven cutting the pizzas and back to the back of the kitchen. I assumed she was really busy and didn't want to ask for double cut. I gave her my receipt with my pizza number and she said she was about to cut it. I asked her politely if she minded cutting up the extra slices for me and she didnt hesitate at all. She asked if the cheese side was for my granddaughter and I said yes, she gladly cut the pizza for me without any hesitations. I believe her name was Tatiana. She was extremely nice and helpful and even though she was running around she still took the time to take care of everyone at the window. This Costco has one of the best if not THE BEST food courts I have ever visited. Great service and great tasting food! read more

I love costco point blank period. What more could you want, bulk fruits, juices and pretty much anything you want. Free samples, nice happy staff, perfect order. I'd be in here everyday if i had 400$$ dollars to spend. The only drawl back is the bill can go up quick. It looks like I have very little and spend 200 dollars. However, I love them. If not not a member I recommend it. !! read more

I could not have been more appalled by the managerial practices that I witnessed today. While getting in line to check out. I heard the floor manager yell out to an employee to tuck in his shirt. Then he proceed to berate him to another manager an "ear shot" away from me. First of all, if an employee needs to be disciplined, it should take place where neither the customers or other employees can hear or witness the action. Secondly, the the assistant manager SHER, should never in front of patrons retaliate against the employee being disciplined. That manager Sher after bad mouthing the employee with the floor manager when directly to the young employee and said, " Thanks for ruining it for all of us!". Why should I patronize a store that treats their employees so badly. read more

I love Costco. I don't know how I would live with it. LOL. I love the different foods that I get to sample and most of the time I end up buying the products that I have sampled because it taste so good.(You guys got me right there) I purchased my laptop from here and I buy my anti-virus software from here as well. You can get your pictures developed, take your passport photo, buy eyeglasses, get your eyes examined, get your prescriptions filled. The list goes on and on. Last but not least. I LOVE THE FOOD COURT. I was kinda upset when they stopped selling the vanilla ice cream bars covered in chocolate. I liked mine with nuts. So now, if I want one I have to buy the whole box but that's okay. I could live with that. You become a member for a very low fee and you renew your membership every year. For the price you get a lot of benefits. read more

I've been a Costco member i believe for the last 15 years. The Lancaster location has always had a terrific staff and just overall great customer service. (Of course every now and then you will run into someone who doesn't fit this description but it's the exception not the rule.) In the past the store shelves were always kept well stalked. Rarely were they out of any one particular item. Their merchandise and food was kept well organized and easy to find. But lately they seem to be "falling apart". Customer service is still really good but the way in which they have "re-organized" their food/merchandise makes less sense. Even the employees have a hard time when asked where something can be found. Quite a few items are hard to find because they are in areas that have nothing to do with that item. I, for one, hate wasting my time running around a warehouse looking for something that should be in an obvious area, but is not. The shelves are not kept fully stalked like they used to and I often leave the store without several items I'm looking to buy because of this. For instance, today I went to buy Basil Pesto Tilapia and Organic Eggs, two items I buy often, and they had neither one. I was also looking to buy organic vegetables, and other than Broccoli and Spinach, their organic choices are extremely limited. I also bought their Kirkland brand of toilet paper,paper towels, plastic bags, etc. regularly over the past 15 years and the package contents have been getting smaller and smaller but the price of course remains the same or higher. Lastly, they will soon stop taking their "Costco" American Express card, the only credit card they take. I have no idea if they plan to replace it with another credit card. Does this mean i will be paying with cash/debit card only? i don't know what's going on with Costco at the moment or why things seem to be going down hill but I sure hope things change for the better soon. I purchased a dreaded Sam's Club membership lately because of these issues but luckily for Costco I don't see Sam's Club being a threat any time soon. Experiencing Sam's Clubs customer service will make you want to give your Costco employees a huge hug lol! Long story short, I love Costco, but hope their downhill turn sees its way back uphill very soon. Oh, one last thing, Costco needs to forbid Sparklets from selling home water delivery in their store. Sparklets has the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. It took me 3 weeks, over 30 calls, being on hold anywhere from 1 hour up to 4 hours (no exaggeration), until i finally got someone on the phone to send out a replacement for a non-working water dispenser. If you are a warehouse/store that wants a good reputation, you need to invite only those merchants who also have a good reputation into your store for they represent you as well! Costco only needs to look online at the hundreds of bad reviews for Sparklets to know that they are a company with a horrible reputation. read more

Terrible service 45 mins late on my pizza that I called in.! Travis was a fucking terrible manager should no longer be there.! Terrible service from him by the way he "try'd" to help customers. This matter should be looked at immediately.! I am very unhappy with the customer service in the tire center. We went there to change our tires and our vehicle got damaged in there. I told them that my van wasn't like that before and a few days later I received a call saying that they are not liable for the damages done. According to their manager, it must have happened in the parking as a hit and run. They do not have cameras in their parking and we have to pay for a damage done there. They don't even have a camera in there workshop where the tire was changed. They told me that I should have checked my car before I left, when that should be part of their job too. Went to change my tires and ended up getting my car damaged and now have to pay to fix it, very unhappy. read more

I don't shop Costco I know I am one of the few but the few times I have been there with friends it is very crowded and to warehouse for me.

The Costco food service in Lancaster could learn a few pointers from the Costco in Victorville. My wife and I drove over to the Victorville location this morning to purchase some Hawaiian macadamia nut chocolates. The Palmdale and Santa Clarita stores were sold out. I ordered a pizza from the food court and was impressed by the speed and efficiency of the operation (unlike Lancaster). There is one line for customers. You stand within a snake like pattern on the floor to wait for the next available cashier. In Lancaster, there is a separate line for each cashier. I've seen on several occasions where different family members will stand in different lines to see who gets to the cashier first. In Victorville, there was a Costco employee wrapping the hot dogs and polish and placing them in a steamer. The cashier just had to turn around and pick one up, unlike Lancaster where the cashier has to go and make it himself. There were stacks of unbaked pizza dough already set up with sauce and peperoni. You just had to add the toppings. I asked how long for my combo pizza and was told 10 minutes. Have you ever been told ten minutes for a pizza at Lancaster? My wife picked up her macadamia nuts at the merchandise pickup window and said the employee was very courteous (unlike Lancaster). read more
