However, there were some downsides for me in terms of how they stock the aisles. There were several times where you were stuck only one way in and one way out, so I had to wait for people to clear the aisle. Definitely some traffic jams inside. Caused for some frustration between the customers and confusion as well. read more

Even though they ran out of bananas, I was happy they had strawberries, blueberries and blackberries. My baby loves berries! The quality was good. The berries looked fresh and not moldy. Great start for the new year! The store wasn't crowded either. We were able to do our returns and go shopping afterwards. The service was good. We just picked up some groceries and left. read more

Rather, it might make sense to spill some ink on the relative merits of their signature store brand, Kirkland (named after their original HQ in Kirkland, Washington.) Kirkland is their ubiquitous private label brand covering everything from diapers, caskets (yes, caskets), pistachios, motor oil and underwear -- leaving very little beyond the reach of their huge tent (including tents.) So, is it any good? Or better stated, is the quality consistent between wildly divergent product lines? (I frankly, have no opinion on the caskets.) To be fair, all the Kirkland brands are sourced from high quality manufacturers such as Starbucks, ExxonMobil, Duracell, Proctor and Gamble and Wrangler so, having sampled my fair share, I can't say that I've been disappointed with any. The question always is... will I consume enough pistachio butter before the humongous three pack turns to concrete... and are the savings legitimate enough to justify buying things by the metric ton? That's an individual decision but bottom line, Costco won't put their name on just any crapola so, it's a safe bet you'll be satisfied unless not having TIDE stamped on your laundry pods is a deal breaker. I couldnt find any on my walk through, but they did have a better selection of clothes, cheeses, sale prices, and baked goods. I was chatting with a worker by the frozen foods to ask if I had missed a wine or spirits section and she said nope. They do not sell alcohol, but Wayne did. So I finished shopping for some new winter clothes, was SOSOOO happy that cinnamon rolls were Finally back in stock at the bakery and headed off to Costco in Wayne. What a difference management makes! While they sell similar stock at other locations, here, their service and layout excels. The entire staff's very conscientious, making sure that check out lines and food lines never exceed 2 customers deep. Super tall racks are at a minimum and items are easy to find. The whole store's neat and clean. I usually hit this location around weekday lunchtime and get a hotdog and fountain drink for $1.50. Since it's a bit away from home, I don't purchase perishables, but I get snacks for my coworkers. Costco is my favorite wholesale membership club store. It used to be BJ's followed distantly by Wally World owned Sam's Club. Costco doesn't play games with their associates like Sam's Club does. Everyone provides better customer service than the wage slaves at Sam's Club. I know that if there is an issue with a purchase at Costco that it will get resolved immediately. The selection is much better here at Costco than I've ever seen at Sam's Club. BJ's Wholesale Club is close to what Costco offers, but I give Costco the edge since they have Fever Tree beverages available as well as a few other key items like their cilantro lime marinated cocktail shrimp and whatnot. read more

I like this costco as the store is definitely not crowded, no lines to het in, conveniently located off route 80 and best of all you can get costco gas for $1.90 regular. What else can i ask for? We visited the store on 6/18 at about 530pm, the meat section had a lot of empty shelves, they had more chicken and turkey products and limited pork products. Although, this store had more home goods like furniture and bedding than most other stores. My car was stuck on the lift, and they were unable to install the new tires due to no power. After about a four hour wait, the power came back on, and then went back off for a little longer. Debbie, the Assistant GM was very hospitable. She brought me water and food to me while I was waiting. Larry, the mechanic kept his word and stayed until 10:30pm to finish my car. Yes Costco is a big company, but their customer service is top tier. Thank you for staying late, taking care of me, and finishing my car. They also have wonderful clothing options, gift cards, books, and household items like blenders, TVs, computers, Tupperware, and furniture. I've always found that products from Costco are of great quality and their generic Kirkland brand is never inferior to brand name items. This Costco has a gas station but I am not sure if it has a liquor store. I came amidst the COVID-19 pandemic to get milk and Costco's taking great measures to ensure that folks are getting their supplies and staying hygienic. They had a designated woman outside wiping down the handle bars on carts with Lysol wipes. They limited milk to one gallon per customer. They reduced their foodcourt menu to just hot dogs and had a designated person squirt the condiments on for you. However, they no longer have onions for the hot dogs. Instead, they offer sauerkraut. There is also no more chicken left other than rotisserie chicken (which they are still making fresh each day). There's plenty of parking. I didn't see indoor seating areas by the food court but perhaps I missed it. read more

Store front manager has lack of customer service. My wife normally does these shoppings as I travel a lot for work and have limited time but she had a back surgery and has yet to recover enough to make these large size purchases. I've come into the store a few times to shop since the surgery but today the cashier said is "(wife's name)" with you? (We have one card with her name) I said no. She processed to call the manager (Rosa) and (cashier) said I'm sorry we have a new manager and is cracking down on nonmembers. The manager came and I told her we are a household and I'm the spouse. We have the same last name and am happy to provide any documentation. She asked if I have a card and I responded no since she normally does the shopping. She asked for my license and walked away. Came back and said I don't have a card and need to come in with her to get me on the system. I told her yes I've mentioned I don't have one, my wife is unable to shop right now and need some essentials for our toddlers. I asked can I purchase this and come back next time with her to resolve the issue. She said no, you need a card and cannot be here if your not a member. I'm sorry ma'am my wife and I are members. My apologies for not having a card but have some compassion that my wife is not well and we need things for our toddlers. I understand you have the legal right to deny my purchase since I did not set up our membership correct but to know someone that has such a poor, unprofessional, untrained way of acting towards a customer is embarrassing for a company of this size. Costco is a great place to be, and only worth it, if you have a big family/friends to share the whole sale items with. Coming from a big family, we take a trip once a month and gather everything that we need, and I mean literally everything. Fresh fruits, cakes, granola bars, socks, bedding - just about anything. My favorite things from here hands down are he mixed soft cookies and the weekend free samples!! We also stop by for the super soft and cheap pizza. This is a conveniently located Costco. The staff has always been helpful. They sell gas. The lines for gas can be very long. You must use Amex or a debit card to pay. I recently read that Costco is no longer going to be associated with Amex and will only take Visa. i do not know the date, but be aware they will no longer take Amex at some point in the future. There is a tire center. I never used the tire center so I cannot comment on it. I have had to return some items. Even at Christmas time, the return line went quick. They do not sell alcohol. This Costco is definitely better managed than the other ones I've been to. The store is pretty neat and organized and there is enough staff on the floor to assist you in locating items when you're in a rush. Although Costco may not be the cheapest place to shop for everything, you do walk out ahead if you do your homework. I mostly buy non perishable items in bulk to save money and time. Toilet paper, Bounty, shampoo and body wash, trash bags & cleaning supplies come to mind. The lines can be painfully long at this location on the weekends. However, whoever over sees the cashiers will call for help and more registers will open up shortly. Another thing I wish they have is a gas station. But construction is underway!! I feel bad saying this but I love Costco. Everything from there electronics to there food to there random deals you can get every now and then. I feel like I'm supporting the Buy in bulk idea from Wall-E but there are some serious perks to shopping here. Like the damn no questions asked return policy. I've gone through maybe 4-5 Xbox 360 every time one red rings, you bring it and they'll refund your money. I think there so familiar with this process that when you bring one in they ask Red Ring? You just cant complain. There food is really good between there pizza you can buy and bake yourself to their cakes and pies they have some pretty good stuff. I love there pumpkin pie, don't know what it is about it but it's amazing. Randomly they will have limited items, right now they have some cigar that you can pick up pretty cheap other times they have things like crab dip to printers or TV's Also there tire shop is pretty good. I dealt with them a few times getting tires for cars. Never a problem and the prices are hard to beat. The only con is that there is a membership fee to shop there. Something I don't mind paying, and if your like a friend of mine and buy the uber edition member ship with a % back on each purchase, he actually makes some money back every year. First, this is a review of the gas station only - I'll review the warehouse later. The station has the best prices around. They only take credit cards or debit cards - no cash - so you better have the right plastic of you'll be disappointed. They don't charge more for using a credit card either - that's cool. My estimate is that they are 10 cents or more less expensive than either the best "no name" or the best "name brand" vendors. But, their gas is rated highly in TopTierGas.com (good web site to check, by the way) so the low price comes with confidence. The attendants work very hard but because of the good price, the lines can be long. However, they hand you back your credit card instead of leaving it hanging in the pump. I really like that. They only have regular (87 octane) and high test (93 octane). Essentially all you need but if you are used to 89 octane or 91 octane, alternate your fill ups between 87 and 93 and you'll be in the ball park. Good prices. High quality gasoline. Great Costco in a convenient location in Wharton, NJ. Everything is always fully stocked and there's usually employees walking around, so you can ask to locate an item if you're looking for one. There's always free samples on weekdays, especially in the deli and snack aisles. This is your standard Costco and there's always a lot of people here, so be prepared to wait in line, although lines do move quickly. I'm giving this store 2 stars for the few and far between positive experiences I've had shopping here. This evening I was in your store and had to use the rest room. My son was standing off to the side with our cart waiting for me. One of your employees, George to be exact, apparently needed to get by him. Instead of politely asking or perhaps just going around him, he rudely asked my son if "he really needed to be standing there". Mind you it wasn't even 5 minutes. When I approached him he of course made it sound like he was just trying to be sure he wasn't in my sons way, which was a lie. I don't make a habit of writing negative reviews. This the closest Costco to my location. First, the parking lot is small compared to other Costco. Always a traffic jam going in and out of the parking lot. The size of the store is smaller too. The Costco in Allentown, Pa is bigger. The customer service is great. Never had a problem with staff. If the parking lot was bigger I would visit this location more. Mount Laurel, NJ. Well I went Thursday morning 8am, special hours for seniors. While is did not seem so bad a first with social distancing until I went around tight, jammed pack corners, starting with the produce isle. It was a totally nightmare, people on top of one another, no regard for one's proximity. The thing that exacerbated the situation was skids of products at the end of the isles. Management should realize that in these times the isles should be clear to necessitates and not create a traffic jam of people. read more

Overall, love my Costco. I ordered contact lenses from the eyeglass department 4 weeks ago (in February). There was an issue sending them to them the Warehouse. After 4 weeks of waiting, I finally received these contacts. Once I arrived, and picked up my contacts, they could not find them for 5 minutes. Disappointed with their customer service. My son who is a member of Costco bought meat on Friday that was putrid by Monday ( yes it was refrigerated). I volunteered to return it for him and had his membership card, receipt and the credit card it was purchased on. The store had no problem with returning the stinking mass of putrid pork. They were very beside themselves that I was not a member and dared to come to their store to return defective/putrid meat ! The young lady at the return counter wanted the bar code for the meat purchased. When I unsealed the bag, she almost vomited from the smell of the putrid rotting meat. She offered me hand sanitizer and decided she was not going into the bag to get the tag. They were sure to tell me several times that they were making an unusual exception and would allow me to be provided a gift card for the item purchase price. They also let me know that there could not be a second instance my coming to their store regardless of the reason without being a member. Not once did the manager or person at the return desk apologize for selling smelly, disgusting, putrid, rotting meat. I let me son know that they will probably beat him about the head next time he is in their store since he violated their rules and give his membership card to me, so that I could return the putrid rotten meat that he purchased at their store. I do not plan to return to Costco, I am sure there are other places to buy disgusting, putrid rotting meat ! Perhaps I will plan a trip to a refugee camp in the Somalia to find some. read more
