Complete fail today. I think we left an item in the cart. We came home and it's no where to be found. OPPs!!! We'll never make that mistake again. I called and so far no one has turned it in, they said it happens on occasion that someone will turn it in a guest or employee and they will log it. I'm crossing my fingers that it will be turned in and they will give us a refund. Though I really wanted that item. Costco could have been busier. We got a parking space pretty close. We were her Saturday Morning around 10am so right after they opened. At least I think they open around 10am, maybe at 9:30am as people were already leaving when we arrived and the parking lot was pretty busy. We've never been to this costco before and item placement doesn't totally replicate the Cal Expo location. So, it took a bunch of hunting to find the items we were looking for. Sadly nothing that was got was on sale this week. The prices were still reasonable. Minus the ground turkey, We can get that cheaper at the grocery store, so we'll have to make a 2nd stop. Along with cabbage. They weren't selling cabbage today. My husband is making homemade enchilada sauce and to go with the enchiladas he like serving it on a bed of cabbage. They did have the other items we were looking for: Canned tomatoes, still over $1 a can, way over priced in my opinion. It's about the same price in the store when it's on sale. So no big savings there. The real savings is in the oatmeal. That's a real good deal. String cheese can be.a good deal, but I'm not exactly sure and I'm not sure it's good buy as it expires in August and I'm not sure we can eat it all by then. I probably should have passed. I do take one to work every day so maybe it will be eaten. It is a good semi healthy snack. It would be better if it weren't made with whole milk. And due to we were done around lunch time we indulged and go their $1.50 hotdog. You have a choice now of a bottle of water or a cup of soda that comes with a refill. We got the bottled water as we aren't big soda drinkers. read more

Bumping up my rating. It's been over five years since I've last shopped at this Costco in Woodland, CA. This used to be my local go to Costco. Anyways fast forward to present time. I dropped in on a late afternoon having shopped at the Folsom Costco earlier that same day. Totally different vibe from the staff. Way better shopping experience in Woodland. I only had four items on my cart, the staff here at the register just scanned the items in my cart and moved the line quickly. A couple of items were heavy and awkwardly shaped. At Folsom, they emphatically said that I had to put all items on the belt no exceptions. The door checkers are more efficient as well and didn't literally count items in the cart to compare to the receipt as they do in Folsom. The shop was clean and organized. Good assortment of inventory. The staff seem more relaxed, better vibes than the Folsom staff. Even the parking format and flow of traffic is structured much better than in Folsom. My only hiccup was the cell phone vendor. They are super off the charts aggressive in the Woodland Costco. I happen to be looking at electronics that is next to their booth. Both sales associates came at me asking questions at the same time. Funny they are asking questions but didn't wait for my reply and asked more questions both at the same time. Hand raised, palm up, with a verbal "no thank you" didn't stop the over zealous duo. I just had to walk away. read more

I was in the area and decided to check this Costco out. Most stores are the same. Depending on the area, some have more options than others. Supply and demand on sales type of thing. I wandered around the entire store!! For a smaller store, they offer a little of everything. Parking at every location can be tricky depending on the time you're shopping! The employees were cordial and helpful. The cashier was friendly and energetic. The store was clean and full of shoppers. I found my favorite breakfast bar so I stocked up!! This is a review for their tire department. We bought tires for our car at 40k miles, My car is now at 70k and we hit a flat a few days ago. Tires has a "warranty" ONLY IF you keep up with Costco's schedule. I think I spoke with Aaron or someone starting with an A. Anyway, I scheduled an appointment and long story short, they either presumed or was basically racist as we're not white and tried to upsell us to tell us that our warranty did not work because we didn't maintain our "Costco tire rotation schedule". With me being a prepared person and them telling me I don't have "records" in their system for maintenance, I handed them a whole load of rotations I did with the same Costco tire department and told them whatever records you're pulling up, it's wrong. Here's the papers/records. They accepted and make good on some of the "tread" thats missing and we got a credit for some of the tire tread that's left. Then they upsold me when my tires were 6/32. The nerve... man. The tires can still be used and are safe in California... All-in-all, this place is a very untrustworthy servicing tire shop. I will not be buying my tires here as they have lost my trust. I'd give negative stars if I had to. read more

Service is ok. It really ranges. Last time I asked for help in the sled check out with numerous bulky items, the staff with the check out gun flat out asked me to go into the regular line. Later she came and helped me eventually after I kept asking for help. So service ranges from staff to staff. The selection at this Costco is pretty good. I have found some treasures over the years at this Costco. Gas is not bad. Though the real reason for this review is the $1.25 hot dog! With a drink included, you can't beat the Costco hot dog! Having came from various Chicago dogs, hot dogger, and others, you just can't beat a Costco hot dog!! Even without condiments, a Costco hot dog is a pretty good cheap lunch or dinner option. And if that's not enough calories or too poor man's dinner, you can make it high end or bougie by getting that HUGE ice cream! My friend didn't believe me when I told him we can share an ice cream cup. Later he was like 'Bro you ain't joking!' Haha. Chicken bake is second best and pizza is a close third. Don't ever get anything else, except maybe the chicken salad so that you can have healthy option. LOL. The mocha frappe there is good too. Also so is the sushi even tho it's not a food court option. Also don't get the Dew. Just don't do it... here's a free tip: drop someone off first and have him line up for food in case the lines are crazy!! Normally I enjoy my trips to Costco, but not today. I never enjoy walking past the AT&T kiosk because the salesmen are so aggressive. Today one of them was actually harassing me as I walked by not wanting to talk. Thirty feet past him he was still yelling after me. I partially blame Costco because they haven't set or enforced behavior standards for the AT&T kiosk salesmen. I even have their service at home and they still keep pestering. I'm a senior female who shops alone most times. I'm going to avoid the AT&T kiosk now, even if I have to take the long way around. Costco, you owe it to your long time senior customers to handle the harassment so that we feel safe shopping alone in your warehouse. Do better. read more

Compared to the South Bay Area, this Costco is serene and has the most polite workers I have encountered yet. They also offer a box service, something that the locations I grew up with lack. Layout of the warehouse is the same as every other, but I'm assuming because of the demographics, they carry only the standard Asian food items and products while the Sunnyvale or Livermore locations have much more in that aspect. The lines here are basically nonexistent and parking is hassle-free despite sharing a lot with several other businesses. The gas lines here are also nonexistent whenever I've gone. This review is solely for the Costco food court only... Picked up a couple of pizzas last night for dinner, and they were made and served quickly and piping hot right out of the oven. We ordered at that kiosk, around 5:20ish, and we were out the door by 5:45. As per usual, the food court area was packed, so we kind of wandered around Costco for a bit. Since we were only there to pick up pizzas, we didn't do any shopping, but the store was clean and fully stocked. Please note: this is not the usual Costco that I shop at, but similar. For example: food court is inside at this location vs. outside where I shop. Regardless, if in the area again and for a longer period of time and if needing to shop, I would return to this Costco. I usually do not post or like to do negative reviews However, upon checkout last night, I had a pretty full cart and asked for a box once Savanna started filling up the cart. What I did not expect was the reaction, not only of a dirty look but here stating "if you want a box you can go find one" I let her know there were a bunch right behind her, to which she said you can go ahead and grab some. I proceeded to go from in front of the register and behind her and grabbed two. she continued to put items in the cart and tossed a few in one of the boxes bread first!?. I was down in the Sac area visiting a friend and we stopped in at this Costco. We picked up these Swiss cheese and ham thingys. They looked good on the box. I'd recommend getting these at your Costco as they're really flaky and tasty good. Though we found out the directions are not right on the box, cook them at a lower temp like 375F for a couple of minutes longer. Otherwise they get a little too crispy. read more

I always like coming to this specific Costco. It's not too crowded, offerings are fairly consistent. The staff is surprisingly consistent too, which indicates solid management. As far as selection goes, aside from the pandemic shenanigans, I usually find what I am looking for. I wish they had more sales than they currently do, and it would be interesting to see more new things. Additionally, could we get all dirty dozen fruits/veggies offered in organic version. Like tomatoes? Returns are easy, as are price adjustments. Say you bough something a week ago and it goes on sale, you can ask for and receive the difference, which is a nice thing to have. This is my favorite Costco location. It's never too busy. They are enforcing masks and there is an employee walking around with a bull horn reminding everyone to stay 6ft apart and keep your mask over your nose. Kids had to use the bathroom and they were pristine!! No smell, no toilet paper all over the place. The bathroom situation says a lot about a place. ;) read more

My favorite Costco in the "Sacramento" area so far. This location is less crowded both at the gas station and at the registers. This store is larger, by fact and offer a lot of items that Cal Expo and Rancho don't carry. This location is very clean and organized. Parking is nice and not crowded. Tire center doesn't back up their warranty. I came in because I have a rusty nail in my tire. Guy said it's beyond repairable, I said okay how much is the warranty cost, he said I can't use my warranty cuz i didn't get my tires rotated. I spoke to a manager and he said even tho the nail is what caused everything, the little details they put in the contract they hold strong to. Also, when I was in there they told me I couldn't take the car cuz it was unsafe to drive because of the nail in the tire. So it felt like they were like either buy a new tire for $280 or were keeping the car. Just disappointed, only reason I go to Costco tire is for the warranty but since they don't let customers use the warranty, I'll be going somewhere else. read more

I gave Costco Woodland 1 star because the man at the exit door checking the receipt asked me: "how many items do you have". 1) He has my receipt in his hand. So count how many items I have in my cart. 2) are you profiling me? We are both minorities. 3) I wouldn't have bought $120 membership to not pay something. 4) COUNT the item in my cart against those on my receipt. I spent $135.91 and receipt checkout ar 2.14pm on 10/11/2022. I want Costco to contact me. I don't see anywhere in their website I can complaint other than call. First time at the Woodland location and we had a great shopping experience. I love the location and it's proximity to other business and services I'd patronize. I would argue the Woodland warehouse is a smaller location in the region; maybe a bit bigger than Rancho Cordova. We loaded up on Kirkland's heat and eat chili, chicken noodle soup, gyros, Cesar salad and lots of other goodies. I hadn't had Kirkland's chicken noodle soup in years and anticipated having to "doctor" it up like before. To my surprise it was delicious as is and loaded with Costco rotisserie chicken. Our first time picking up the Kirkland brand chili and I'll probably never make chili from scratch again lol delicious! read more

Went here to return some items ( a whole other story), but today I experience one rude employee. Jesus, he either had a stick up his booty or something. I simply walked up to enter, and said with a smile "I'm just coming to do a return!" And he said back "I don't care" and looked at me up and down. I said "don't be a rude ass" and went inside and did my return. He said was JIM, I believe, a 5'6 older man, white shirt hair, working today January 19th around 2:30/2:40pm at the front exit doors of Costco in woodland. What the???? So, COSTCO member for over 26 years, and consider this a FABULOUS corporation. I've patronized stores all over the US with the usual excellent service and helpful attitudes. However, as with any organization, there are horrid outliers as experienced today at COSTCO Woodland, CA. I dropped my wife off so she could use the restroom in an "emergency " situation and I went to the gas station. She did not have her Costco card and was refused entry while cramping badly so requested a mgr. The Sunday mgr, Regan, also very rudely and embarrassingly refused her entrance so wife called me to discuss. Rude Regan gave me the thumbs down as I pumped COSTCO premium gasoline as well, so I threw in and that I was a 26 year member as well as a USAF veteran (since the station is on Veterans Drive :) Regan reluctantly agreed to escort wife to the restroom and actually waited outside the door until she was finished, SERIOUSLY??? Amazing she's considered a "leader" at COSTCO? HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE at WOODLAND COSTCO!!! Rude and demeaning!! read more

This is our go to Costico cause it's the closest one to us. We come here every 3 month or so. Our must gets are always TP, paper towel but mainly when they got on sale. But we also come for the 5 dozen eggs, almond milk, mushrooms, cauliflower, salads, roast chicken, paper plates, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, canned chicken, olive oil, almond flour, bacon, bread, tooth paste, mouth wash, tape, soap bars. I ℒℴℯ that you can get clothing there but also seasonal stuff, as well as security and other electronics. Their sample stuff are super nice and they are very knowledgeable about the products they're sampling. They also have food court there on site if you're hungry. They also have bathrooms at the opposite end of the exit side. read more
