I was impressed how they had mists of water that you could sit near or under on any hot day to keep cool. There was a live band there and people dancing, drinking and having a good time. Really nice place to people watch and soak up some vitamin D on a beautiful day. Melissa provided great service, but as I had already eaten, I wasn't hungry enough to try a meal. I did have a peach sangria, their limoncello sunrise, and tried their soft pretzels with Asiago dip. The drinks were fine, but I didn't particularly care for the Asiago dip as it had an unpleasant aftertaste. I would return to try something else. read more

This is a lovely outdoor wine garden. The ambience is really special with water features and well-designed landscaping. There is plenty of seating in different areas, including a deck, covered pavilion, and plenty of tables with umbrellas and chairs. The service we had was outstanding by our server, Callie. She's one in a million. You can enjoy wine by the glass or the bottles. They also offer beer, cocktails and soda. If you haven't been in a while, the menu is much improved. You can enjoy a light meal or have snacks to enjoy with your wine. The Napa Valley chicken salad sandwich was pretty good but it needs different bread. They have live music frequently in the evening with no cover charge. Plenty of parking in the area. I will definitely return. read more

I absolutely love this place. I attended a rehearsal dinner for an ex-coworkers son who got married. Cottleville Wine Sellers and the surrounding shops reminds me a lot of Weston, MO. I'd love to go back and visit it, after walking around and browsing the shops. The workers were so nice. They had someone playing live music and the food was pretty darn tasty. I am not sure if it was ordered from Cottleville or if it was catered from Ana outside vendor. The restrooms were very clean. read more

This place has a massive patio and they have live music which is always nice in the warm months. They have a huge wine selection and a good amount of food options. The service was a little slow but this was understandable considering they were packed. We started with the pretzels and they came with a beer and wine cheese sauce that was unique and good at the same time! I got a wine garden salad, this was good but nothing special. I got a wine flight and I was very happy with this because I wanted to be able to try some of their sangria and other wines by the glass. Went there last night (Saturday) to listen to some live music. I thought there was a policy about no smoking or vaping. Could not enjoy our food or drinks with the vap smoke coming over our table. I also thought this was an adult only venue. Apparently that changed as well. Drinks were terrible. The Cottleville Sunset was all pineapple juice and a little bit of alcohol. Totally sucked. Band was ok. Heard better. Not sure we will go back again. Seems like the quality of service and overall experience really went down this year. read more

Our first time there earlier this afternoon. Had a great time. We got a cocktail and a wine flight. My husband loved his whiskey blackberry lemonade cocktail and I loved the wine flight. A full glass pour for a flight which was nice. Great service from Amy. NOTE: On their website they list flatbreads on their menu and those are no longer offered. This wasn't a huge deal but a little disappointing since I'd looked on their website beforehand and was in the mood for one. However, we got a soft pretzel and a turkey panini instead and both were great! The chipotle dip on the panini was to die for and I got extra to dip my chips in! I would love to give Cottleville wine sellers 5 stars for their amazing patio but can't. Both times I've been, we've had issues with the food (moldy and burnt). Great place to go with friends or family and the atmosphere is inviting, fun and adorable. Their peach and berry sangrias are great, fruity, and refreshing! On the weekends there is usually live music and a decent crowd - definitely a great place to go to if you like a laid back yet entertaining atmosphere. Javier Mendoza has done it again! I follow him, and he plays at the coolest places! This is how I found Picasso's on Main, and now, Cottleville Wine Sellers. From St. Peters I originally thought, this is going to be such a long drive, but it turned out not to be. The patio makes you feel right at home and the service has been phenomenal the 2 times that I've been here. I don't know a whole lot about wines, but the Pear Sangria was perfect for a warm summer night on the patio with the cool jazzy tones of Javier Mendoza. read more

Excited to try this wine bar/little restaurant in cottleville. Was super excited upon arrival. Enviroment is super cute. Lots of shaded areas to sit. Food was good. Ordered the pretzels and veggie platter. Was good. What I did not enjoy was sitting by a no smoking sign and 3 employees were sitting at a table next to us smoking. I have asthma and lung issues. I like to sit outside and it's always a plus when there's a no smoking sign up so I can actually enjoy myself. It's sad when you have 3 employees putting their feet up and disobeying the rules by smoking. Our waitress was right next to us and didnt notice that our waters were empty the whole time because she was too busy sitting and congregating with her fellow employees. She never came back to check on us or ask anything. The bartender was either on his phone or changing the TV ever time we saw him. It was extremely disappointing. We will gladly go somewhere that has a more expensive menu and offering, for better service. Was excited about this place. Will not be back. Shitty service; unfortunately. read more

Cottleville Wine Seller is awesome! My parents live in O'Fallon so I'm always looking for a fun place to go with them when we want to grab dinner or some wine. The history of this place is amazing... find the owner and make him explain it to you, because it's really interesting. The tiny old house is very cool and full of all different kinds of wine (and you can do tastings!) but the real action happens on the patio. The patio is HUGE! Find a table and a server will come over and get your order, and you can get a wide variety of wine and beer... and also some good food! Mostly sandwiches and cheese plates, but it's all of high quality. The upper deck on the patio is the most fun if you can score a seat up there. There's live music on the weekends and the vibe is just really fun and relaxing. I love this place! Go check it out and order a bottle or three. read more

Different types of wine, outdoor seating, beautiful weather, good food. It was simply a lovely day to be out when we set foot inside this establishment. Although, technically we weren't inside since it's all outdoor seating within their wine garden. The waitress did, however, mention that the front room of the building where the kitchen is and where they store more wine is a wine tasting room on the weekends only. That was a bit disappointing as we were expecting to sample a few before settling down at a table for dinner. Before I proceed, the reason why I even came upon this place is that my colleague invited me over to her house to visit her dogs and suggested that we go to Cottleville which is just a few minutes drive to grab some dinner. I have not heard much about this area but was truly surprised by the restaurant rows that reside in what looked like a 2-block area amidst the quaint little downtown of Cottleville. It was quite exciting! We walked up to the Wine Sellers about 5:30 or so and there were only 6 or 7 people all sharing the same table. It started getting slightly busier later on but the place is quite big that it never had the feeling of being packed. We started with 2 glasses of wine: a cabarnet (for myself) and a malbec for my colleague. The waitress already brought some iced water with the menu which I highly appreciated. It was quite a bit humid yesterday and bringing water right away was a very thoughtful and considerate thing to do. Their menu consisted of shareable plates, soups and salads, sandwiches and wraps and I opted for the Lorenzo wrap: sliced roast beef, harvati cheese, lettuce, tomato, roasted red pepper and garlic sauce in a sundried tomato wrap. The wrap came with chips and a kosher pickle spear. I thought my wrap was delicious, the garlic sauce flavor was great but not overwhelming and the sliced roast beef was fantastic. My colleague ordered a chicken salad and fruit which was served on a bed of lettuce with sliced almonds and fruits (I believe she said cranberries). Hers was served with some multigrain crackers. She seemed to really enjoy her salad and mentioned that she usually always orders the same salad whenever they come to this place. The wine garden was fantastic and we overall had a wonderful evening out enjoying some wine, good food and a bit of chit chat. I would love to come back to this area and stop by here for some relaxing time with a glass of wine. My first visit has been impressive and I am glad I made the drive! read more

Great atmosphere! (as all the pics show) Great food! The pretzel bites were good but the asiago cheese sauce and honey bacon mustard sauce were gross. I asked if they had a grilled chicken sandwich cuz I didn't see one on the menu - so they subbed chicken for turkey on the turkey panini - soooo good! (without the sauce, of course) The chips look cool but taste like grease more than potato chips cuz they're extremely greasy. The Homemade Peach Sangria was yummy!! We went there with another couple and we ordered an appetizer. Never received it. We were told that the pick ticket did not print out the order. So we told they would take it off the bill. We all four ordered the roast beef sandwich, not too complicated an order. Our friends sandwich came but ours did not. Once again we were given the same excuse and told we would be credited for our order but they charged us twice for drinks I checked with other couple and they were not credited either. Came here for a tame beginning to my college roommate's bachelorette party on Saturday; there were only 7 of us in our party. None of us had ever been to Cottleville Wine Sellers before and weren't sure how things operated out on the patio where we wanted to sit. We walked up to the bar and started looking over the wine list and were even asked by the lady behind the bar if we needed any help. Once we knew what we wanted to order, she then changed her tune and told us we'd need to find a table, sit down and have a server wait on us - which we then did. A female server approached our table and mumbled something about having someone else "deal with this" and walked away. A male server eventually came to our table and didn't provide the best service, nothing terrible but not what I expected. C'mon, a table full of dressed up ladies who you know are out celebrating - he could've been friendly and actually talked to us instead of just taking orders and then disappearing. My biggest complaint was that the menu listed a variety of cheeses with crackers for $9, I ordered one for our table. However what came to the table was an unmarked white plastic tub of soft cheddar cheese with some crackers and I was still charged the $9. The location and scenery is nice here but the service was lacking. I also didn't feel impressed by their offering of wine. Meh. read more
