There's no reason to call this a wine bar. Yes there is wine on the menu, but nobody there is drinking it. If you're expecting anything like Sasha's, 33, 'ssippi, Scarlets etc do not expect anything like that here. It's a loud crowd, drinking beer/mixed drinks and watching football while listening to 00's and 2010's hip hop/pop music cranked up. There are video gaming slot machines in one corner and cases of beer stacked in the other. Most of the customers are New Town residents who got there via golfcart or area residents who drove there in lifted pickup trucks with ground effect lights. I will give them props for strong pours on the mixed drinks. I love a good neighbor bar and seeing people having a good time: I really do. But to have "Wine Bar" in your name and have zero atmosphere of that type is actually pretty sad. read more

This place is exactly what 9/10/21, 8/27/23, 10/20/22 and my last post 11/14/24. This is a bar that the manager doesn't care what happens as long as he and his bartenders are happy and he will tell you that. He doesn't want you to tell anyone about your experience and if you do he is upset about the truth getting out. They are a group of low class people who are all obviously miserable and they want to make others miserable while they are trying to make money. Very disrespectful and lying bunch and it really gives this place a bad name. Everyone walks in the kitchen and behind the bar and fix their own drink which should be against compliance. They also have children sitting at the bar that serves alcohol. It is a dangerous place to be, because there is absolutely no structure. They smoke marijuana all around the place and they smoke the vape pin which is marijuana inside. They twist the truth of any given situation to make it their own story which is a lie. Beware of this place.... Becky is the best bartender and her drinks are the best each and every time. John charges whatever he wants to charge. Each time his drink is a different price. He use to put a white soda in my top shelf margarita until I begged him not to. Weird.... read more

Came here to meet some friends at happy hour. Tables in the front bar were full so I went to the back room and found exactly 0 clean tables. It took about 20 minutes for the rest of the group to show up and 10 of that was spent waiting for anyone to come back to greet me or even clean the table. They seem to cater only to the regulars and didn't seem to care that our host of the evening had literally just moved to the neighborhood that day. They made a bad first impression on her and our crew. The girls and I were here and finally got someone to take our orders. Server had to come back and say they were out of spring rolls and had been for quite a while because no one had been to Costco to buy appetizers for quite a while. That was less than encouraging but the drinks were all good and despite being from Costco the food was too (and let's be real, I love Costco so no hate there). We were looking for another round of drinks or maybe our bill and 30 minutes later we were still waiting. Eventually we got the bill but had to wait another 15 minutes to process the cards. It was kind of ridiculous in the end and had a much better time nearby at an ice cream shop. read more

I live close so its convenient to go here to have an app with a few drinks before doing something else. It's a fun place to go to when they have live music on the weekends, if they do. I will say that the food is extremely limited and dull however. Seems to be a lot of blan frozen bar food and a few usual wine paring foods like a plate of hummas or grapes and cheeses. They could step it up on the food side of things and change up the menu and or add better items. As for drinks, this is a good place to grab some wine or cocktails. Prices won't kill you and the drinks are good. All in all, go for drinks not the food. Hope they continue live music. read more

Pretty much the worst bar in the world due to extremely poor attitude and unprofessional staff. The blond female bartender is extremely rude and easily overwhelmed when busy, to the point that if you ask where your drink is she will start screaming at you! I love the Wine Bar. I know the three bartenders there and they are great. The wings are very meaty and the beer selection is great. It is a great time there, especially if there is a wedding reception across the way that usually moves to the Wine Bar after their bar closes. We practically live here!!! So much more than just a Wine Bar. They have a full bar with an excellent beer selection, and make GREAT MARTINI'S. The Wine List is wonderful too. This is probably one of the least expensive Wine Bars in the Metro Area! The bartenders are AWESOME! They have Shakespeare's Pizza from Columbia, MO! And they also have smaller St. Louis Style Pizza. Wonderful cheese plates to pair with your wine. There are basic apps as well such as Wings and T Ravs. All delicious!!! Live music on the Weekends. Washers League on Mondays. Karaoke during the week. Perfect atmosphere with views of the Canal and Fountains. Outdoor patio is DOG FRIENDLY and part of it overlooks the Sand Volleyball Courts. Their menu is limited but with that said, they are a wine bar. It's nothing quality but good enough for snacks. I've had nothing but bad experiences here. Hadn't gone in months since my last experience and went in recently to meet a friend and won't be going back once again. I've seen multiple people at the bar being literally ignored (even after making eye contact) for sometime till the bar tender is ready on their clock. Their service there seems very moody/ controlling and unhappy, not exactly what you want when your enjoying a glass of wine right after work. They seem to do well as a business but mostly because it's within walking distance of the New Town Community but they wouldn't make it anywhere else, especially with their staff. The menu is mostly appetizers but the chicken wings are amazing as well as the hummus and the taquitos. A huge beer and wine selection as you would expect but also a large selection of specialty vodkas. On the night I went a band was playing and it was packed but still got speedy service. I am lead to believe they have events most weekends. They also have weekly trivia which sounds like fun. I'll be back for sure! read more
