They had a set menu and everything sounded delicious. Me and Sarah ordered the bacon jam burger and oooooooo weeeee!! We were moaning an embarrassing amount but it was just too good!! And I'm not sure if they did this on purpose but because the baby shower was for a girl I'm wondering if they colored the sauce pink?? First time experience at EdgeWild as a birthday dinner. Located near the Chesterfield mall, which is in various stages of demolition/construction. Despite all of this activity next door, the restaurant is unaffected, both in access, parking, and view. Despite being near the highway, the view from a booth is not bad, with some rolling hills in the distance. The service was timely and attentive. We had a reservation and were seated almost immediately. The interior has a dark steakhouse feel with a lot of wood materials and the edges of whiskey barrels on the wall as decoration. A great environment to unwind, have a drink, and fully enjoy the meal. The food itself was exactly as ordered; a medium-rare ribeye with creamy risotto and broccolini. I don't frequent steakhouses very often, so I may or may not be back for that reason alone. It did make for a pleasant and memorable birthday dinner! read more

I recently visited EdgeWild Restaurant & Winery with some out-of-town colleagues, and overall it was another solid experience. Our server was very attentive and did a great job taking care of our group. The only hiccup during the visit was timing--we arrived shortly after a busload of guests, which slowed down the kitchen a bit and led to a longer wait for our food. That said, the service remained strong throughout. For lunch, I ordered the combo with a Green Apple Cashew salad and the 1/2 World Traveler Reuben, made with house-smoked turkey, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, Thai Thousand Island, and black Russian pumpernickel. Both the salad and sandwich really hit the spot--fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. This was my eighth visit over the past three years, and I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal here. I have been here a handful of times and have gotten take out a few times. I love the atmosphere in the restaurant, cozy but large and open. The aesthetics are beautiful! I have had some excellent meals and some good meals. Take-out is always great! Tonight was a good meal! Their wines and cocktails are always good!!!! We ordered a few appetizer staples that we love. The truffle fries are outstanding! If you have a large group order two of them. Yes they are that good! Crispy with a delightful truffle blend. We also ordered the jumbo lump crab dip with crispy wontons. The dip was good, a bit spicy. The wontons were large but I felt a little rich, greasy. I later found out they were fried in oil they use to fry pork (an allergy for me having alpha gal) but they were very nice about it and took care of my dinner. In any case I ordered the Ahi Tuna app and Butternut Pecan salad together as my meal. The salad was wonderful, but I'm glad I had apps and got the ahi tuna with it. Salad alone was small. The ahi tuna I thought was ok not too much flavor. My dad ordered the Dijon chicken which he said had a good flavor. My daughter ordered the pasta ala vodka which we always love! Always a great choice!!! My son and husband both had steak specials. Both really enjoyed their meals. Overall I'm giving it a 4. Tonight wasn't my favorite, but the atmosphere is great. 11/7/25 Five O'Clock Friday Social meet up with new and seasoned friends coming together. Extra bonus, our group was able to be seated in the Barrel room instead of the bar area, since Barrel room was not booked for the evening. It was early on a Tuesday, so there wasn't a large crowd yet, but our group of ten had excellent service. The food was ok, with a variety of dishes being ordered, but the service was the best part of the experience, without question. The restaurant was comfortable and well-decorated. We were seated in a small intimate area by the fireplace which was the perfect setting, but we felt kind of forgotten out there as we were the only table. We got the cheese fondue for our appetizer, which is lit table side, but parts of it were cold. Good point was when we ran out of bread for the cheese they brought us more without us asking. I had asked how spicy the chicken tortilla soup was and the waitress said that it wasn't that spicy and it was so spicy. I could not eat it. Entrees were all good choices and the chicken Dijon was exceptional. My husband had the salmon and he wasn't fond of the fishy flavor that salmon nor sky does not have. Edgewild is unfortunately located as a standalone across from the now disintegrated Chesterfield mall and next to a Tesla graveyard as I'd like to call it. So there are lots of potholes and divets in the road leading there and even on their parking lot. Driving in during the day was fine but leaving at night in the dark was horrible (hardly any lighting) so if you have night vision problems, beware. So let's get down to the experience. My family came here for a celabratory dinner for my mother retiring so I made reservations on Open Table and unfortunately they only had high tops. However, upon arrival, there was a booth open so they were able to seat us there. Our server was Jordan and he was on top of everything we needed. My mother ordered a flight of wines (rose, moscato and riesling) and had me try them too. We both enoyed the wines and I will say the moscato was the best wine I've ever had in my entire life. My dad and brother ordered Blue Moons that was just served in bottles which I found strange for a restaurant of this caliber (I thought it would be served in a glass). I'd been coming to EdgeWild off and on over the past 14 years - pre and post covid and one thing that's ALWAYS been consistent are their Smoked Wings. Before yesterday, I was here for my friend's wedding reception in April. It came out to 8 wings and you can order ranch or bleu cheese for dipping. We also ordered house rolls for the table which also was really good. I ordered Shimmering Sipper from the drink menu, which by the way, you have to scan the barcode to access it online only. It was interesting but good. I like to try new things so I had my fill. For my entree, I ordered the cedar plank salmon. My mother had skirt steak, my brother had the black pepper cap steak (this week's special), my dad had the beef tenderloin trio and my sister ordered sides (chicken, shrimp and truffle fries). My parents split a salad that they said was really good. When they set my salmon down, I don't know what I was expecting but it looked really sad. I guess I was expecting a more appealing piece of salmon for $29. It was kind of flat in appearance but not flavor and had a pink glob of butter (the tomato hibiscus butter) which had an interesting taste next to a scoop of overcooked mushroom risotto and sad broccolini. I was not happy with my meal but am not one to send things back so I took a picture of it for y'all and was thankful for the chicken wings I shared with my family. I asked my brother for a piece of his black pepper cap steak and it was heavenly. I should have ordered that instead. I tried a piece of my mom's skirt steak that she exclaimed was fatty and was chewing on that for a long time because it was....fatty. She put 4 of the shishitos on my plate to try and it was the greasiest peppers I'd seen in my life. My brother's green beans were super oily as well. He said the garlic mashed potatoes were good though. I tried the truffle fries and it was the worst I've had. Very heavy on the truffle oil. It should be a light oil finish at the end. I should be able to taste it without it being overpowered as it was. My dad and sister didn't have any complaints about their food. I then ordered a slice of the chocolate cake and it was very rich and had chocolate chips in the frosting too. It was really good and redeemed my horrible meal. I honestly should have just ordered the wings and a salad and cake or steak with no sides (if even possible). EdgeWild is such a nice restaurant! I thought the pasta dish I ordered was delicious, and paired well with my Riesling (forgot to take a picture!). The ambiance has like an upscale woodsy cabin-like vibe. There's is plenty of space inside, so great for big groups. Service was friendly, but felt a little bit slow to come take our orders. This would be a great date night or spot to take your out of town guests. I've heard they have a great happy hour, so next time I visit I will plan to take advantage of that! read more

I visited Edgewild on a freezing Saturday afternoon in Winter. They have a huge, private parking lot. There are about five steps to enter the establishment. There is a paved ramp to the left of the entrance but the doors are heavy to navigate alone. The staff stated if you call them, they will come out to open it for you. I love the ambiance here. Dark wood, low lights and a fireplace. Open concept yet cozy. I was greeted upon my arrival and shown to my party. Our server, Chase, did a wonderful job with recommendations and pacing our meal. He was attentive and took good care of our group. My dining companion ordered the goat cheese. It was amazing. Definitely a 10/10. I ordered a bowl of the chicken tortilla soup. The apple salad was such a tantalizing blend of flavors...the tartness of the green apple, the sweetness of the dried cherries were perfect! I will definitely return! read more

We have been several times since our first review (below), and each time has been great. And we have now sat in each of the different areas of this spacious restaurant; each is similar yet unique and nice. EdgeWild offers many Gluten Free menu options, each noted with "(gf)" on the menu. We most recently went with friends, before going to a movie. On this Friday evening, a local musician played music in the bar area, at just the right volume to thoroughly enjoy it while still being able to talk and hear during our dinner - nice! Jordan provided fantastic service. For my wonderful wide and me, we enjoyed: - we each enjoyed a glass of EdgeWild's own wine - EdgeWild Cabernet Sauvignon - EdgeWild "GSM" / Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre (red blend) both were quite nice - we split (both/all gluten free): - Branzini (sea bass) and shrimp, atop risotto, with asparagus - ribeye filet, also atop risotto and with asparagus, with a nice amount of Irish butter on top And without asking, Jordan offered to have the plates split, and that is how they were presented... thank you, Jordan! I do not know how they specifically prepare the steaks, but they are amazingly flavorful; they are so good that I find it to be a challenge to order anything else, so for us, splitting the plates offers at least one new menu item when we visit. For the main course we each shared: Dijon chicken, with wonderful mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus... the chicken so nice; the Dijon sauce... WOW! I really with I knew how to make chicken anywhere close to that... I can get the outside golden... then most of it sticks to the pan, so not really. And that is why I am not a chef. ; ) Ribeye Steak with broccolini and risotto. WOW! It seem that they cook the steak, searing top and bottom then the middle per your order; then they cut it open... cooked medium for us... both halves were showing pink side up... unique and nice... then the bottom was seared just so right and out melts in your mouth... My friend and I came here for an early dinner and was seated in the bar at one of the most awkward booths I have ever sat at. The booth was raised so had to kind of hop into it, as I am short, but there wasn't much room between the table and booth seating so it felt like I had to contort to sit in the space. It was not comfortable. Our server also worked in the bar and from the very start he seemed irritated with our presence. He sounded perpetually exasperated with every sentence as if it were a chore. He never checked in on us, disappeared for awhile so we flagged down someone else to grab our checks, and they still waited for him. It was weird. The food was solid. I had the burger and it was a good burger - but nothing exceptional. The wine selection was great! I was very impressed with that. Yet, it is unlikely I will return. read more

Had a great girls dinner here last week! We made a reservation for a large party of 10 about a week out. Always appreciate the ability to book for a big group online. The highlight of our evening were the truffle fries and the service! Our server was super personable and attentive. We didn't feel rushed and he gave us such great guidance on our orders and what we might like. Having an attentive and patient server can make the world of difference! The truffle fries were our appetizer. They're so delicious and served with a Kalamata aioli. Nordstrom Bistro had something comparable and it's fantastic. To drink I had Sauvignon blanc which was wonderful. It comes in its own single serve carafe, which are the kinds of details I love. They have an extensive wine menu, so I highly recommend taking a deep dive into it if you're a wine lover like myself. I got a house salad, and I wasn't sure about it at first since it was served with a sweet red wine vinaigrette. Sweet with dressings isn't typically my jam but it was really well balanced! I'd for sure get it again. For my meal I got the creole pasta. It was delicious and exactly what I was craving! With my app and my salad, I had plenty of leftovers to bring home for the next day. Horrible horrible horrible!!! My recent visit to this establishment was profoundly disappointing. The quality of both the food and beverages fell far below even the most basic expectations. With the exception of the pork volcano, which my husband did enjoy, the remainder of our meal was cold, poorly prepared, and entirely devoid of flavor. I have never encountered a dining experience in which the majority of the food was simply not edible. In a time when food costs are exceedingly high, one hopes that a rare occasion to dine out will be met with excellence and care. Instead, we spent $151, two entries, appetizer and 2 drinks on a meal that was, regrettably, unworthy of consumption. Out of courtesy, I refrained from returning the dishes to the kitchen and chose to take them home, hoping they might improve the following day. Unfortunately, they did not. Now we were with family and I tell you none of us enjoyed the food. This was a really bad experience. We had such high hopes. This is some of what was ordered on Saturday for Mother's Day dinner. Shrimp & Grits -- not the best, missing depth of flavor - Ribeye -- not good, lacked seasoning and quality - Pork Volcano -- just okay - Sea Bass -- not good and served cold - Smoked Wings -- okay, but needed more time on the grill - crab jalapeño dip I think it's called - the crispy things were good but dip was ok - Drinks -- overall very bad; the first lemon drops were okay, but the reorders were noticeably worse Given the totality of this experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant. Went after work with a friend on a Tuesday for happy hour. Happy hour prices are fantastic and the house cab for $5 was great. Loved the truffle fries and pizza! The goat cheese app was just okay, probably won't get it again. The service was fine, had to flag them down to order food and get the check. Many years later and this is still an awesome place for a meal. Today, I visited for lunch. Arrival around 11:45a and promptly seated. They offer a lunch special menu, but I opted for a Full Nashville Chicken Sandwich and the mushroom Brie soup. The Sandwich is huge! You actually could do the 1/2 Sandwich and Soup lunch special and be plenty satisfied. I'm not a mushroom fan at all, but this soup is amazing! The Brie gives the creaminess and then it's seasoned perfectly. The temperature is just right where you won't burn yourself, but at the same time it's not cold. Though the location is a bit odd near the mall going through massive renovations, ignore the unappealing drive and know you'll enter a warm and inviting restaurant! They have happy hour as well as live music twice a week, which is a nice offering. They make their own wine, so if you're particular with your preferences, you'll need to consider that. The food is a great value in my opinion. The presentation is nice, and we had no complaints about any of our meals. (They even had Gluten-free bread, which was actually good, to serve with our cheese appetizer). The Atlanta salmon was nicely prepared on a cedar plank. The raspberry natural butter, albeit looked questionable at first glance, was really nice if you like a bit of sweet. The strip steak and side options were a perfect combo and cooked perfectly. The bronzino and shrimp was paired well with well cooked risotto. Our waitress was in training but had superb customer service. I'd go back just to be well taken care of! Nicely done. We made reservations for 3:00pm so that we could try some new items that are only on the lunch menu which ends at 3:30pm. We had a nice booth in the bar area and our server was attentive and provided excellent service. Things started off 5-star with a nice house Chardonnay and our soup orders. From there things went downhill. The Black and Bleu Steak salad had steak that was too peppery for my wife's taste. I ordered the Pho which was described as Steak, Shrimp, Rice Noodles and Soft Boiled egg in a beef broth. All of that was true, buy let me say the broth was greasy and flavorless, the shrimp had ZERO taste (it could have been tofu shaped as shrimp for all I know), the beef was thin and tough, the egg was the best part of the dish. The dish came with a sauce on the side that was spicy and greasy. I don't think I've ever had a dish that missed the mark more than this one. When the bill came I noticed a 1% fee for "Chesterfield Improvement". I asked the Server about it and she explained that the City is now charging them 1% because they are in an area that is being "redeveloped". Hey Management, what's next, trying to pass along increases because of utilities and property tax? Don't nickel and dime your customer with fees, if you need to raise your prices to stay in business, then do that. read more

My husband I have been here 3 times. We came with our two grown children. The past experiences with the food and service was great. I remember ordering the cioppino; which was amazing--all the ingredients just popped in your mouth. This, however, was about a year ago. I was told to call and if the ingredients were available, they would happily make it. I asked about this dish and the waitstaff had no idea what I was talking about. This made me very sad. I guess I will never be able to experience the taste of this dish. This visit, we had chicken wings and stuffed mushrooms for appetizers. The wings were very crispy and flavorful. They came with (3) different types of sauces. The mushrooms were with vegetables. This dish was good. My dish was the Dijon Chicken which was grilled chicken breast, chardonnay-dijon cream, grilled asparagus, garlic mashed potatoes. The dish was ok. The chicken was not as moist, maybe a little overcooked. The sauce was delicious. The mashed potatoes could have been a little more lighter and flavorful. I would like to have the dishes prepared with the same care and love as the cioppino. It seems as though the dishes are not prepared as they were a year ago. My wife & I had a light dinner during happy hour (4-7 pm) at Edgewild this afternoon. Delicious and satisfying. She had been here before for their happy hour menu, but 1st time for me, and it didn't disappoint! House wines during happy hour are $5/glass, but their full menu of wines is available. We started with their house Cabernet for me, while my wife opted for an Oakey Chardonnay ( not house, $15/glass). Both delicious. My wife is addicted to their Truffle (French) Fries and we shared an order...plentiful and delicious. She eats vegan and chose their Veggie Stuffed Mushrooms ( carrots, zucchini & peppers with mushrooms) which she ate to completion, so musta been good! I chose the Cajun Shrimp, about 5 large shrimp in a creamy Cajun sauce (a little kick) and 3 baguette slices for dipping, it was terrific! Not finished yet, I then chose their Ahi Tuna appetizer, several slices of tuna with sliced cherry tomatoes & avocado in a creamy white sauce, bit more kick than the Cajun Shrimp. Also delicious! Edgewild's full dinner menu is available during happy hour, but their happy hour menu has more than I've described here: beef dishes, hummus and a few pizza offerings. We've lived in Chesterfield for years, and have eaten many lunches & dinners here. It has withstood the test of time. Happy hour light dinner was a 1st for me, and didn't disappoint! First time going out for thanksgiving. I looked at all the information I could find. The people working that day were 5 star. The food was average. The turkey was rubbery & looked fake. Garlic mashed potatoes were great. They had breakfast stuff. It was mostly carbs. read more

Highly recommend! The service was as good as the food! I love the homestyle menu and the high quality ingredients used. I feel like these days, many restaurants are cutting corners with food quality to save costs. This is the first place I have been in a long time that isn't a fine dining restaurant that delivered high quality food. And the service matched. I came with a local resident who also shared that many of the staff has been here for years, which in my book is always a good sign (good job, management)! I look forward to coming back the next time I'm in the STL. read more

Thanksgiving Buffet - lots of options from breakfast to Thanksgiving dinner choices, salads, fruits, wide variety of desserts. Our server was very good - attentive. Unfortunately the food was all barely warm to actually cold. We were the first seating so would have thought everything would be nice and hot. Carving station meats as well as sides ie potatoes, stuffing, veggies. Did not feel like my piece of turkey was done. The server did not explain that basic drinks were not included , ie tea, soft drinks, juice for kids. This added quite a few $$ to total bill. read more

My husband and I moved to chesterfield a couple years ago and have really wanted to try out Edgewild! Unfortunately, the food was incredibly disappointing. I had the flank steak. It had so much fat on it that my knife wouldn't cut through it. I know it's a fatty cut, but still. It also had very little flavor and had barely any pink (I ordered medium). My husband had the Dijon chicken and ended up throwing up as soon as we got home because his stomach hurt so bad. The service was fine and the environment was nice. I'm hoping we just got unlucky with our food, but we do not plan to return. read more

This place couldn't be better the wine is amazing some is from their vineyard and I love the wine club. The tenderloin trio dinner plate is mine and my husbands go to every time. The servers have always been friendly and attentive. Even if you just want to grab a drink at the bar it's a nice place to visit. I've been to an event there and they have a great space for it and the staff is very good. 10 out of 10 read more
