We used to love this Cotton Patch. They have consistently gone down in quality and service. My husband called in order to go. He ordered Fish and chips and tried to order hush puppies but was told that they couldn't do that because their system wouldn't do that. The person taking the order called back to confirm that CC went through and my husband, who is disabled, told him what parking place number he was waiting in. Forty minutes later, my husband called and was then told that they no longer do curbside despite the fact that they still have numbered parking spots for curbside. They eventually brought it out to him. However, food was pretty mediocre. It was barely warm. There were only two pieces of fish and hardly any fries and the rolls were more like little hickey pucks. So he thought, However when he ordered he did not realize the meal would be delivery to our home. I go to pick up his order and the manager informed me that his order was suppose to be delivered to our home. My son was at his work place and was wanting me to pick up his meal and take it to him at work. The grilled Cajun duo with 8 shrimp and crawfish cream sauce is to die for. A delicious mouth watering entree that is sure to please even the most discriminating palate. There is plenty of food here and priced quite reasonably. The frozen margaritas are excellent as well. I tried this place for the first time on a Friday during lunch. I got the pot roast with squash and the broccoli casserole (see pic). The meal came out quick and hot. The lunch came to about $12.00 with drink. The taste met my expectations and was fresh. The only reason I didn't give it a five was due to my waitress being slow. She took forever to cash me out. It didn't seem she had mastered the concept of prioritizing; instead, it appeared she went in order of how she received things not realizing to check me out would have been quicker than having me to wait for her to serve five tables. I was disappointed by the fact that their Menu does not match their charges. The menu specifically says "ALL GRILLED ENTREES COME WITH your choice of loaded baked potato, fresh broccoli, steamed vegetables, AND your choice of house salad, caesar salad, cup of soup. Or choose two fixins. I don't know how that can be interpreted other than a potato AND salad are included with the entree. So I ordered a grilled entre with a potato and salad. When the bill came I was charged a $3.00 upcharge for the salad. When I pointed this out to the server she didn't argue about what the menu said, just said "the computer won't let me do it that way." It's not about the money, (we actually left a very good tip) it's the principle. Had I known I was paying extra for it I wouldn't have gotten the salad. The bill should match the menu description. No offer of drink refills till we were done and waiting for him to see us and stop by to give us the check so we could leave. My family and I visited this place for the first time in the middle of the week. We really enjoyed dinner, my son got a burger which is said made his list of one of the best ones he's had, my husband ordered fried fish and a fried chicken sandwich. Both were every crispy and well seasoned, and I had the fish tacos, those were good, a little soggy from all the toppings, but it came with chips and queso which was wonderful! We were greeted by a hostess who was able to seat us immediately in a half booth. Unfortunately, it was right next to the kitchen so I heard everything that was being said including how fast the food needed to go out to how clean the kitchen area needed to be. Nonetheless, I was happy to have ordered the chicken fried chicken with the Nashville hot sauce on top with the gravy on the side. For the side items, I chose mashed potatoes (that are made with the skin) and steamed broccoli. My wife ordered the grilled pork chop plate with mash and French fries to share with our daughter. My order came out wrong and they served me steak. I do not eat beef, so my order had to be fixed and I had to wait. On the flip side, our server was super chill and let my wife box up the steak and take it home for later since she was just going to throw it away. Loving the salads here! I've been here twice now for lunch and I can't complain about anything. Not too crowded for lunch, so if you've only got an hour for lunch, no problem. Service has been respectable, attentive and kind. I love the cobb salad, but if haven't had anything more than that. But the food was BLAND the Mac and cheese tasted terrible. Fries were cool if they were fresh. We had different batches I'm assuming because some of us had hot fries and others not so hot. Monday, the chicken fried chicken & chicken fried steak are $7.99 instead of their usual $10+ which is an awesome monday deal! They are a really good size. I could have easily shared a chicken fried steak with another person who doesn't have a huge appetite and still be full. It comes with two sides. The batter used for the chicken fried steak/chicken was super crispy and amazing. Really loved that the chicken fried chicken was still juicy on the inside and not dry like other places. Bacon Cheese Fries small order is a great size to share with two people. Food was a bit salty. (really appreciate our server constantly filling up our drinks btw!) The complimentary rolls were ok, not my favorite. So if saying no to rolls is a weakness for you like it is for me, you won't have a hard time saying no. Wasn't buttery or fluffy. Just tasted like regular rolls you buy at the store that haven't been placed in the oven/warmed up. Dr Pepper cake was really sweet. It smelled really good and was nice and warm when it was brought out to us. It had more of a consistency of a brownie fudge than cake. I didn't really taste anything dr pepper about it.
