Like other Rue 21s that I have been in, its crowded and full of stuff everywhere. It is hard to go in and get out fast because the sales are all over the place. Use your smarts and be a bargain hunter and you cannot go wrong here. They keep you coming back by handing out great coupons at the register. The only thing I do not care for is that the women's sizes only go to XL and have a tendency to run small. I really wish their corporate office would realize the money-making potential they could have if they went larger, up to larger women's sizes because the market is out there!

Bad experience with a single employee…read more 4/30/26 between 7-730pm. My sister-in-law was lining up to pay at a register which she didn't know or wasn't sure if this particular cashier/register was closed as he was still attending to one customer ahead of her. So she asked if he was still open. He responded with I am and was typing something away and then in the filipino language remarked," Ang kulit nito." Which in English translates to, "This one's annoying." Unbeknownst to him, my sister-in-law is also Filipino. So she told him she understood what he said and that it was poor customer service on his part and that all he could've said is he's open or closed and she could've moved on but he was being very rude. And he continued to ask my sister-in-law if she knew her mother which was said in a tone as if to threaten her. She then reported him to a so-called floor manager on duty who clearly wasn't interested and she left furios and called again today to report it. We are going back to this Hobby Lobby to file a formal complaint regarding this behavior by this particular employee who thinks name calling in his own native language, who we happen to also speak, is normal behavior for a Hobby Lobby representative. Shame on him and shame on this branch if they don't do something about his behavior. From name calling to threatening customers by who his mother is/was or whathaveyou. There more likely is only one Filipino cashier there or employee who does the register as well.

I think all the Hobby Lobby is greatly planned because they always make sure they have a big parking lot which I love! also their stores are always clean and neat and easy to browse the things they sell. Employees at this location are always friendly and they always have a variety of selection which I love so I do not have to keep going on any other stores, basically this is my one stop shop. As for the value they always provide great quality here. We grabbed on and headed to the register which lead to a mediocre at best interaction. I understand as a cashier it is not always the duty to handle the whole store but you are the last impression a customer has before they leave. The item we purchased not only rang up incorrectly than they price marked but when I let her know that the area was in disarray her response was...." I know I have seen it". She was pleasent but that doesn't fix my impression of a place I am spending my money at. This is a second attempt to purchase a suit here and we left the first time because it was a mess to dig through. If this was not the last resort we would have gone elsewhere.

All in all most items are in good condition but you do need with most items from thrift need to look closely as there can be unseen snags or stains that you need special reading glasses to see the problems. About two weeks ago I went to the Goodwill on new Berlin Road at the corner of Alta rd. There was…read more a pastel green comforter in a plastic zipped bag lying on top of a rack. I grabbed it and saw that it was heavily infested with bedbugs, and I took it to the clerk at the front, who then took it to the back, and stated that they discarded it. I told him that one bug was capable of ruining the whole store. Two weeks forward I returned, and today a comforter that looked exactly like the one that was thrown away. Was now hanging up without the plastic. Same color, same pattern. So examine it closely before you purchase it. The store is divided the east side for plus and west for regular sizes. They carry shirts, blouses, camisoles, tank tops, under garments, pants, skirts and dresses. They also Have cardigans, dusters and vests. They also have shoes, socks and sandals. The prices are pretty reasonable. The store is usually clean and the service is good. Checkout can be a bit slow but that is true for all Cato's. I do like that if you find something you like and they don't have the size, they will check other stores in the area and can have it put on hold for you.

I have been to one other in Jacksonville and this one is so far the best. The store is a very good size and they carry both regular and plus size clothing. The selection is almost equal regular and plus size which is uncommon to find in a clothing store as plus size is generally crammed in a back area. This store gives plus size a full half of the store. It is a refreshing shopping experience. So far the times I have been here I have been able to find something I like. There is a nice variety of clothing options and they carry shoes and accessories as well. The prices are also great, much lower than I had expected. If you find anything on clearance, it is sure to be a good deal.
