Etowah Carpet One Floor & Home turned what could have been a nightmare into a smooth, stress-free project--I'm so glad we chose them! Andrew in sales and insurance claims was a total standout. He really listened to what we wanted, walked us through every hardwood option with samples and honest advice, and helped us pick something beautiful that fit the home perfectly without breaking the bank. His patience and expertise made the decision process easy and even enjoyable. John, the project manager, kept things organized and on schedule like a pro. Clear updates, no hidden surprises, and everything coordinated seamlessly from start to finish--his communication was top-tier and gave us total peace of mind. The installation crew, led by Ricardo, delivered incredible workmanship. Precise, clean cuts, flawless installation, beautiful transitions, and they cleaned up meticulously every single day. Ricardo and his team were respectful, efficient, and clearly took pride in doing it right. The new floors look amazing, my mother-in-law loves them, and the whole experience exceeded expectations. If you need flooring work (especially after damage), these folks are the real deal--highly recommend Etowah Carpet One!

The showroom has an overwhelming array of options, but Mark guided us to exactly what we needed. His advice on his home visit on color was invaluable. Three bedrooms, hall, steps, entire house, done in TWO DAYS. The LVP/carpet and tile crews are amazing. They were very respectful of our furniture and took great care moving it around, and restoring it. They worked with, smooth, harmonious precision. Their attention to detail resulted in a perfect installation. No surprises. These crews have been there a long time and they know what they are doing. This is the right way to run a business. The price was VERY competitive. Committing to a company for this big job was intimidating, but the professionalism from the initial showroom visit carried through the whole process. We highly recommend them for any flooring needs.

VAPOORIZER?? Where's Jack Black from the movie Envy? Carpet…read moreowners beware! If we could have left a review with ZERO stars for this business we would have! We found Oxi Fresh Kennesaw owner Jeremy Brown online when looking for our 5 year old carpet to be cleaned for the 1st time. Why they state that its Marietta GA and not Kennesaw GA where we live is beyond me. We wanted someone local because you should be able to trust local RIGHT? We scheduled our appointment and were promised online to receive a deep clean with less water and 1 HR dry time???. The day of our appointment the tech (Ricky) called at 10:20 am, 3 Hours early asking if he could come now instead of our booked 1:30 appointment claiming a scheduling issue, I agreed and now wish I never opened the door. Ricky came to our home and I showed him the carpet and asked if he could do 3 things, remove a perfume odor from my Mothers room, get out furniture marks like we had done with our rental home, and most of all clean the 1164,00 sf of carpeting which included 1 lg living room, 1 hall, 1 lg master bed , 1- 2nd bed, and 13 carpeted stairs with 2 landing areas. I was informed that the process didn't use much water and that they had a spray they put down to pre treat carpets prior to cleaning. I showed him the water and the utility sink because I was informed that nothing was removed to the truck. I made Ricky coffee with a slice of cheesecake as he brought in his plastic sprayer canisters like an exterminator would use, and a power carpet sweeper with rotating brushes and a small, shallow dustpan flap on the back named the Renovator. After 41 minutes of Ricky starting his "Work" including the time he took filling up his water extermination tanks, I was retrieved and told that everything was done. Done?? The carpets were wet, the machine left pretty roller markings. But done? I think not. Rickys claim to fame was that I couldn't smell the perfume anymore. I stated that he had only exchanged 1 odor for another. I noticed that furniture marks were untouched as well. I then asked him to produce the DIRT? Ricky claimed the dirt was gone. GONE? WHERE? he opened the dust pan and it was empty except for pieces of carpet his machine chewed out of doorways where laminate or tile met. Ricky had no dirt or any filth to show from a 5 year old carpet. Ricky claimed that the chemical made it disappear? Sure (VAPOORIZER???). I had Ricky contact the owners on his phone, I first spoke to Mrs. Brown and voiced the issues I had with the service but she wanted her husband to call back. When Jeremy Brown called back I was voicing my concerns and asked him to come look at the Job that was done which shouldn't have been an issue seeing how he lives only 2 miles from my doorstep. Mr. Brown became sarcastic stating "Who do you think I am Stanley Steamer?" I then handed Ricky the phone back and refused to pay until everything was resolved. I told Ricky to let the owners know that if they wanted to come back and view the job then I was willing to work it out with them. Which was also recorded on my Ring video along with everything that entered our door. Instead, a couple hours later I was met at my door by the Cobb police stating that the owner wanted a Police report for court. I guess this owner definitely doesn't know the meaning of resolving issues amicably. Instead it was straight for the Juggler vein. I then had my daughter bring over her carpet cleaner and only cleaning a 4x4 area of carpet with using only hot water, the carpet was to be found filthy. My husband came home and said it smelled like Dog Feces! the one hour dry time advertised? It took 3 days for our carpets to dry after all the solution that was dumped on it. We immediately hired Busy Bee carpet cleaners only days later and our carpets were cleaned with full extraction to remove the filth, the chemicals left from Oxi fresh, and smelled amazing after 3 full hours of meticulous work. I paid the Busy Bee invoice in full and gave a gratitude tip as well. I would recommend Busy Bee to everyone. Oxi Fresh didn't even vacuum our carpet as owner stated they did. Its a shame for some businesses that Word of mouth still means everything to us little people paying the bills. Fortunately for me and whoever is looking for carpet cleaning, freedom of speech is still a right in this country. I was then served a subpoena to appear in court to be sued by Oxi fresh. So, if it sounds too good to be true, chances are it probably is! Don't fall for the hype or you could be next.

Candi and Shamus have consistently jumped through hoops for me to provide great product at pricing I could fit into my budget- or my client's budgets. Their installers are educated and follow the manufacturer guidelines for install - which is hugely important as to not void any warranty. This last project they helped me with required same day delivery and unload. 2 of their managers took the time to follow the delivery truck and unload my flooring! If you're looking for great products and service, I recommend Into The Woods. Shamus is also a GA Licensed Contractor so he is a wealth of information. I highly recommend and am grateful for their support.

If you value your time, money, home, and peace of mind, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. The work on our floors and dry wall required multiple return visits. After the second flooring visit, we told them the floor was still uneven and that the vinyl continued to pop up. On the third visit, a team member stepped on the area that was popping up and said, "There's nothing wrong!" After we insisted they open the floor, we discovered that cardboard packaging from the vinyl floor boards had been used underneath the floor to address the leveling issue... When we finally thought the flooring was finished, another problem surfaced. The trim at the top of our staircase that had been installed only about two weeks earlier came loose, and I fell down the stairs as a result. We then discovered that our replacement dry wall was visibly uneven and not flush with the existing wall. Even after their team came back to work on it, the transition was still not flush, if not worse! Regardless of whether subcontractors were involved, we hired Into The Woods to ensure the work was completed properly and ultimately hold them responsible. On top of having to repeatedly identify problems that should have been caught through proper supervision and quality control, the most frustrating part has been communicating with Into the Woods direct team members, especially their owner, Shamus. We constantly felt like our concerns were minimized and dismissed. Even if the work had been perfect, the interactions with the company throughout this entire process made us wish we never signed anything with them. *Additional Review After Owner's Response* Unfortunately, Shamus' response to my review is itself a reflection of our experience with Into The Woods. Throughout the project, our concerns were repeatedly reframed rather than addressed. We were reassured that issues would be taken care of, only to find them unresolved on subsequent visits. When we continued to speak up, we often felt our words were misconstrued, our concerns minimized, and the burden shifted back onto us. The response emphasizes that the company made 7-8 return visits. But the number of visits does not mean the work was properly completed. In fact, having to repeatedly request corrections is exactly what made this experience so frustrating. Many of those visits were to address warranty or punch-list issues that should have been resolved as part of completing the original work. I also want to correct the characterization of the financial accommodations. The nearly $10,000 shortfall was not covered by Into The Woods as a "good-faith discount." The remediation company that referred us to Into The Woods chose to cover the additional costs after we shared our negative experience with Into the Woods. They asked Into The Woods to go above and beyond to restore our home, and we are genuinely grateful to the remediation company for stepping in to help make things right. Separately, Shamus offered us a $1,000 "gesture of goodwill," which we declined. This offer came after we discovered cardboard packaging from the flooring underneath our floor. The stair-nose explanation in the response is particularly frustrating. The response leaves out the fact that approximately two weeks had passed since its installation. When the stair nose came loose, we photographed the underside and found a substantial amount of adhesive that appeared not to have properly bonded. The company subsequently returned to repair it. We don't expect construction to be completely free of problems. We do expect a contractor to listen to concerns, supervise the work, communicate accurately, and make sure problems are actually resolved. This experience cost us an enormous amount of time, frustration, and peace of mind. After everything we've experienced, we would not hire Into The Woods again, and we hope prospective customers consider our experience before making their decision.
