Fun place! Ice cream was flavorful.. only things that I would suggest are shifting the signs down so that if you enter from the back of the store, you can see the menu while you are waiting. Because of a freezer on the counter, you can't see the menu until you pass it. Bonus for the dog ice cream you can buy.. my little guy loved it and sometimes those pup cups are hard to find in the supermarket. Lastly, that front door has such a BANG when people would enter/exit. I couldn't imagine working there and hearing that over and over. Maybe give that a fix? I came here after lunch with my husband. It's a cute, quaint ice cream shop with a good selection of flavors to pick from. I decided to order a small cup of the Peanut Butter Caramel Cookie Dough - I loved the peanut butter and cookie dough flavors. I didn't think the texture was as creamy as my favorite ice cream shop in my town. We stopped in to Country Creamery after eating dinner next door at Sitting Duck. I like the convenience of these restaurants and shops in this area in the greenery. The icecream here was good and the selection was decent. There were enough, but not too many where I was overwhelmed and couldn't decide. They also sell candy and dog treats so that was super cute since people had dogs with them sitting outside. If you catch it at the right time, there is music outside on the green to sit and listen to while enjoying your icecream. The employees were friendly here and the shop was clean. I also thought it was pretty smart that they had small candy toppings to choose from by the register. I'm sure the kiddos love picking out a topping and get to put it on themselves. They have a decent selection of ice cream flavors, and apparently their ice cream is from 4 different places (they wouldn't tell me where though). Although they supposedly get their ice cream from 4 places so that they can "have the best type of each flavor" my chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream left much to be desired. They also had generic cones. Although I wasn't the biggest fan of their ice cream, the place is very cute and has both indoor and outdoor seating. The ice cream is good and the selection wasn't bad. I ordered a S'mores Sundae and my wife ordered mint chocolate chip ice cream. Both were very good and all of the toppings for the sundae appeared fresh. A nice touch is that they also sell dog treats so if you decide to bring your dog, they can have ice cream with you. There are a few tables outside in front but I sat in one of the numerous adirondack chairs in the green as it was a nice day. Was looking to get ice cream one night and Rich's had a crazy line so figured we'd give Country Creamery a shot since we hadn't been since they moved to this location. Kind of an odd experience during Covid, but they handled is seamlessly. Was surprised that they didn't have a number of standard ice cream offerings (cookies and cream and strawberry notably). Very reasonably priced and good quality ice cream. Great service and very good ice cream. Decor in the place is not my taste, but that wouldn't stop me from going back. Good portions and reasonable prices, too. We had headed up the street to Rich's for ice cream on the first hot summer Saturday night on Memorial Day weekend. We got there and there were two young guys directing traffic into the mob parking lot. The line went all the way to the parking lot from the order window. No thanks!!! My husband suggested we try the Country Creamery instead. Good call. I'm just going to skip the ridiculous lines at Rich's and head straight to Country Creamery next time. Just went there with my daughter. 1 of the customers behind us said to his friend dont you know the owner for pull. The owner comes out and literally stands behind the counter and looks over my 10 year daughter and ask the people behind us what they want. Totally skipped us. Im not the type of person to carry money around with me, instead I carry my wonderful small piece of plastic called a debit card and unforutnetly I also carry around with my a heavy desire for ice cream all the time. I have come to see that many ice cream places only take cash which is a bit inconvenient since Im a fat kid, and enjoy my fat kid food. With that being said, tis place has pretty good ice cream and does the job of filling that need. Business hours are a tad screwey. I feel like they close too early and are closed on days they shouldn't be, but still has some pretty good ice cream. If you don't feel like waiting forever in the Rich Farm Ice Cream shop line, i'd suggest the short drive here. Especially if you want that soft serve ice cream. read more

Stopped here after a hike, wanted a good milkshake for me and my girl. What we got was literally all milk with maybe half a scoop of ice cream barely blended in. We felt bad because it was a younger girl and clearly she had no idea what she was doing, but it was honestly the worst thing I've ever had.. My girlfriend decided to say something and asked for more ice cream in our cup of milk, and in response the girl added another half scoop then even asked if she wanted it "blended in" ... It was just beyond unacceptable, the staff here either is all producing the worst "milkshakes" known to man or this girl was horribly improperly trained. $9 for two cups of chocolate milk ...
