A treat for all staff for making it through another school year. The ice cream emergency truck does not skimp on the amount of ice cream or sorbet scooped. And DONT even think about asking for a limited amount, they will not allow it!! The flavors are so good, we didn't even realize we ate the whole thing. The truck's decor is a throw back to a 1950's soda shop with two friendly ladies serving us with huge smiles!!!

If you're looking for something fun, different and absolutely delicious for your next party or event then I highly suggest booking this truck. The workers were so friendly and welcoming. The truck itself is spectacular-like a mini, walk-in ice cream parlor full of old time flair and a dozen colorful toppings lined up on the shelves. 10/10 must try!

    Yummy!

Seriously, I don't know how anyone could finish the whole thing, which is tragic since it's ice cream.

It seems they have a food truck too, but I believe it was not operational during the winter. I tried a few options from here, all vegan, 3 different mini burgers for $10 (I don't see this option on their menu any more), sweet potato fries and onion rings. Everything tasted delicious. The eatery is more of a parking garage and it felt really cold during the winter. They have a bar and it's a self service place. There was only one employee taking the orders. Overall, we had a long wait time before we got our food. I will be back to enjoy the food as the weather is getting warm. I highly recommend this place to vegetarians and vegans.

My husband ordered a cosmo from the bar, I just got a bottle of water. It was pretty expensive and the wait time was LONG. We were the only ones there when we arrived. The drink took at least 15 minutes to come out and was literally the smallest drink I've ever seen. The food took even longer, 20-25 minutes after ordering until it came out. We asked for ketchup, but they never brought it back out to us. There are no condiments or napkins available for self service. One bite of the empanadas and we were met with a strong rancid taste. Same with the onion rings. Completely inedible. I'm not sure if the food was bad or the oil had gone rancid but it was unacceptable. Sliders were ok. The hangover slider was disgusting with an egg patty on it that was easily 3-4 times as thick as the burger itself. Like an omelet. Usually when there's an egg on a burger it's a nice sunny side up fresh egg. This was gross, and it was brown. We took that off. The burger still had a funny flavor so we skipped eating the rest of it. The general tso's slider was good but other than that I had an overwhelming feeling like I was going to get sick from this food. We left the food mostly uneaten and left to go somewhere else. I would definitely not go back!

There is plenty of parking and picnic tables with umbrellas for shade. What this joint lacks in size, it makes up for in flavor! RATINGS!... John: 8.5/10, Me: 9/10. John began by saying that Roll'os Food Truck is located at 114 South Main Street in Seymour. We had our traditional dog - mustard, onion and chili. Grilled bun, dog was grilled, but right on! It was a Hummel Bros. Chili was fantastic - had a lot flavor to it. Not as spicy as I would have liked, but it was really good. Garlic in that... GOTTA HAVE IT! John went with an 8.5 on this dog and he said it was really, really good. I chimed in saying that this place was cool and it was not what we originally expected (actually anticipated a different truck being parked in the same location). They have only been open for 5 weeks, but believe me, this place is worth a visit. I really, really enjoyed this joint. Home made chili...and I mean 'home made' like Joyce (the owner) made it this morning. The chili had beans and garlic in it (along with meat). The garlic was awesome. The grilled, Hummel dog was natural casing and had 'snap'. It was served on a Martin Potato Roll which to me was just so complementary of the flavors. I rated this dog a 9. If you are in the South Main Street section of Seymour, swing on over to Roll'os and tell Joyce and Pam that The Dawg Tour MMXIV sent you. Enjoy!

Tex Mex Fusion is a gourmet food truck that began operations in Seymour, Connecticut in 2022. As…read morethe name of the food truck implies, it specializes in authentic Tex-Mex cuisine made popular in Mexico and the Southwestern United States. Staples of the menu include steak tacos, chicken tacos, quesadillas, burritos, taquitos, and tres leches. The truck can be found at various events and festivals throughout south central Connecticut and can even be hired for private events. My family and I recently sampled food from Tex Mex Fusion. We were at a special event at the school that my wife teaches at. The school booked various food trucks for the event. There were a lot of great options that day, but we were drawn to the savory aromas emitting from the Tex Mex Fusion truck. After looking over the menu, we ordered "Street Corn Elote" (served w/ mayo, chili powder, cotija cheese, lime & cilantro) for myself, "Shrimp Tacos" (marinated shrimp, iceberg lettuce, chipotle aioli, cilantro, onions, lime crema, pico, guacamole, salsa rosa & verde on the side) for my wife, "Chicken Nachos" (fresh tortilla chips topped with/ chicken, cheese, beans, pico, guacamole, sour cream & jalapeño) for my older son, and a "Kids Quesadilla" (flour tortilla filled w/ melted cheese & sour cream on the side) for my younger son. Everything tasted so fresh and authentic! I really enjoyed my street corn, which was bursting with southwestern flavors. Overall, we all enjoyed our choices with Tex Mex Fusion and would love to run into them again at a future event or festival.
