They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and there is plenty of parking in their large parking lot. The store was very clean, and they had plenty of friendly staff on hand to help you. I've been going to Wentworth's since I was a little kid, and for good reason... They seriously have some of the best homemade ice cream around! Wentworth's has a long list of flavors to choose from. I recently ordered the Coffee Oreo in a waffle cone which was delicious! Keep in mind, their serving sizes are really big. I got one scoop and couldn't finish it all... They also have "Kids" and "Teeny" sizes if you're looking for a little less ice cream. The service is very good. I went on a busy Saturday night and was helped almost immediately after I walked in the door. There were around six staff members working at the time, so even though it was crowded, the line moved fast. I also like that there's many places to sit and eat your ice cream. Inside they have a small side-room with some tables. You can also sit outside on the front deck, and then they have a whole backyard area with benches, swing benches, etc. where you can sit, as well as a gazebo. It's actually very peaceful back there. One thing to keep in mind, Wentworth's is not open on Sunday's. Overall a great ice cream spot worth visiting this summer! read more

We stopped by recently and were surprised to see how big the quantity of ice creams they offer. They offer teeny, kids, small, medium, big sizes and small itself is big enough. They post their flavors on their website. The flavors usually include one vegan option and a few fat free and sugar free options. During both my recent visits, I got peach and coffee (with chocolate chips) flavors respectively. The peach was a bit sour for my liking and I don't like chocolate chips. So the vegan ice creams were ok ish. I wish they added a few more diary free/vegan options as most other places offer more than 3-4 options. The have an organized and efficient system for lines and handling customers while COVID is still a concern. They have lots of staff working and get you in and out relatively quickly. The ice cream is creamy and flavorful. I'm typically not a fan of cherry flavored anything but I got their cherry vanilla for my boyfriend and I tried it--it was definitely made with fresh cherries and was really delicious! They post their "flavors of the moment" on social media and also outside on a chalk board before you enter. Pints are $6.68 and quarts are $11.73 (includes tax). I unexpectedly passed by the establishment and unexpectedly went to check out the offerings. I enjoyed one of the specials, the lemon custard. It was nice that the staff asked if I had an egg allergy before serving. Oh, and they allow you to taste the ice cream before purchase. I was able to get a split a one scoop portion with vanilla. Unfortunately I did not get a chance to see the backyard during my visit however. The ice cream comes in massive portions, but the price kind of reflects it (4.50$ for a scoop). It is also very difficult to hold the potion of ice cream that they give inside of a cone. With this in mind I was going to ask for a waffle cone, but the girl giving me my ice cream put it in a sugar cone before I could. Wow, what to say. We were out to dinner on Friday night and declined dessert at the restaurant in hopes of making it to Wentworth's for their 9pm cut off time. We made it! We got our ice cream and sat outside on the front seats to enjoy it. It was 8:55pm and others were also enjoying their ice cream, a beautiful September evening. The owner (or unhappy woman who lives upstairs) came storming outside and scooped up the flags and locked the front door. A woman pulled up and rushed to the door at 8:56pm and no ice cream for her. Then the unhappy woman turned the outside lights off, we were all in the dark. Really???? We spent $20 on her ice cream and she has no appreciation for her customers (former customers). You wanna close up shop, that's your call, but really, turn off the lights while you see your customers eating the ice cream they just bought. Shame, shame on her! We got up and walked to our car at 8:58 and will never return again. We were loyal customers but loyalty ends when it's a one way street. We overlooked the dirty surroundings, the desperate need for updating and the unhappy management/owner but now we notice it.
