It's a long drive, and not well known but if you are a thrifter like me it's well worth the drive. If you're a tourist the route is very scenic and you'll get a more authentic view of Amish life in Lancaster Co than all the tourist spots. Nestled right on Route 340 the building was probably once an old farmhouse refurbished to suit a retail environment. It has it's own parking lot and wrap around porch with lovely window displays. The inside is large and spacious with goods spaced out in different rooms over 2 floors. There is an elevator for carts and for those with mobility issues. Each department was exceptional in quality, display, selection, and pricing. Many items were priced between yard sale and thrift. The toy department had some of the lowest prices I've seen for second hand. Something this thrift store has that others in the area doesn't is a designated antique area, a selection of Plain clothing for Amish & Mennonite shoppers, as well as a room of handmade quilts for resale. Additionally there was a selection of new, locally handmade rag rugs and quilts. Everything was clean and I didn't spy anything with condition issues. They even had a designated craft department with crafting supplies, fabric, and pretty much anything you need for sewing. Many of the items were new. On the day of my visit one color tag was half price, which means I scored a like new Pottery Barn shower curtain for only $1.25! Aside from a few smaller furniture pieces inventory was geared towards clothing, household goods, glassware, books, toys, etc The day of my visit was a few days after Christmas and there was entire room of Christmas items for half off their already low prices. On the first floor in the back of the store was a rack of .50 cent clothing from prior seasons. The employees I encountered were all helpful and friendly. The store had alot of little details that took them above and beyond other stores. The cute hooks in the dressing room was a nice touch (see pic). Because they are a Christian based organization they do have limited hours and no Sunday sales. Now that I know where they're located I'll be hitting them up next time I have a weekday off, especially since Freedom thrift (another fav) is only 6 miles away! read more

This store is a definite must! Not mentioned elsewhere, there is handicapped parking on the side nearest the exit and a handicapped entrance. Downstairs is all clothing, accessories, shoes, and the silent auction room. Upstairs (large elevator) is domestics: china and glassware, pictures, plants, kitchen items, toys, books, records, cds, dvds, yarn and crafts, toys, linens, misc., and a quilt room. A reviewer mentioned Glade plug ins in 2019. I am highly allergic to fragrances -- they no longer use them and I have no difficulty! This is a great place to shop for yourself, and the china and glassware items are wonderful. I recommend it highly to all my friends! read more

This is a GREAT thrift store. The reason I am giving it a low rating is because it stinks so much from all the Glade Plug Ins that they plug in that it makes it impossible to not have a migraine or a headache just from being in there. The chemical fragrance from the Glade Plug Ins is overwhelming when you walk in the door. I've heard other people complain about this. I used to shop there in high school and they even sell "plain clothes" so you know I went through a phase of wearing Amish girl dresses and combat boots. They beg to be paired up. Really though, they have the cutest stuff here, clothing, furniture, plants, country gifts and household goods and man oh man, they are wicked cheap compared to Philly thrift prices. They're wicked cheap compared to any thrift prices really. The front is full of awesome vintage and antique stuff and they have an auction section as well. The rest of the downstairs is clothing and they even have a vintage section. The most expensive article of clothing in the vintage section was $8. I'm not even kidding, crazy right?!? I got three dresses (all vintage) and an adorable log shaped planter for $12.75. I probably would've bought more but they were closing and I had precious few minutes to complete my shopping. The place is really huge, and the staff are the nicest people you might every meet. If you're ever in the neighborhood this place is worth a stop, ample parking too! read more

Store is very clean and organized. It used to be one of our favorite places to shop and we used to walk away with some great finds. Our latest trip this week was a complete disappointment for both me and my friend. We both noticed that the prices have significantly increased on everything. I can not justify paying $8.00 for a Kohls brand dinner plate when I can go into Kohls and purchase brand new for less. They had a duck figurine on display and wanted $25 for it...it was from TJMax and retailed for $15 brand new. We used to enjoy looking at the vintage glass area but it's really not worth it now when the prices are so high. Also, it seems like they take all the "good stuff" and have a special room for a silent auction. We both agreed that won't be going back. On a good note....the day was not a loss as we found the most wonderful Amish Greenhouse Plant Sale and got a lot of cactus and succulents for decent prices. read more

This little shop has a rack in it with items for 50 cents! I love that rack because if someone has worn the item that is all it could be worth to me and they get it! Nice store, one of the last real thrift shops out there that has not gone all YUPPY CENTRIC ~Go by for a view! read more
