Nice, clean motel room. Room 305 was a queen room. Clean. Entrance from upper parking lot is easy and no stairs. Convenient to Jamestown and Sonora. Also close stay to Yosemite ( 1 hour drive in)

    Pet $10 per day

After 3.5 hours driving in the mountain with endless dark curvy road ahead, I finally made to here around 11pm. Exhausted. The policy is that they can only reserve the room until midnight. There was a sign hanging outside the office said "No Vacancy". Book ahead, don't take chance. Since I traveled with my dog, I need to find a hotel that is pet friendly. I personally think charge $25 per night per pet is a little too much unless I have no option. This place charges $10 per pet per night. The lady at front desk was very nice, I told her due to the rim fire the 120 hwy closure, I had to change my plan. There's no way I can drive another 3.5 hours X 2 back and forth the next day. she recommended me few spots nearby to check out the next day. I don't know why every time I travel there was fire, last summer was the Colorado Spring fire.. I couldn't find any cheap hotel within 50 miles of Denver. The room is in good size and has everything you need for in the hotel. I like it the room has sufficient lighting. Both sides of the bed has its own bedside table with 2 outlet plug. Everything is very comfortable and this place is quiet. FOR TWO DAYS I ALMOST DIDN'T WANT TO GET UP!!! for the price and value it deserves 5 stars. Free Wifi is not super fast but very stable so I am not really complaining consider Sonora is a rural area. (and keep in mind I am heavy internet user) Just one note: according to Hotel.com. its 45 miles to Yosemite Valley center but actual map it is 71 miles and will take up to a little more than 2 hrs. with the 120 hwy closure I had to take 49 to 140 and it became 95 miles and with slow traffic in front it can take me up to 3.5 hours. And I am definitely not ultimate driving machine...

This is by far the worst hotel I've even been to we came from out of town our family met us at our room who live there in town and the owners kicked us out we were not even in our room 20 mins like we were children would not let us have visitors and did not refund us our many back and the room was super dirty too the headboards were all smead up there was pub hair on the back of the toilet and the microwave looked like a hot pocket exploded in it there was spider webbs all over from the tv to the wall just dirty and very rude all over our family meeting us at our room so we could go out to eat BAD BUSINESS

    Bed bugs.

Room 302 had bedbugs. Evening staffer, blonde gal with green/blue highlights, said bed bugs weren't red and it was a bug I brought in. I took a nap and set the alarm and woke up to this bastard and a few others running away from biting me. I argued to switch rooms which eventually happened, but the way she treated me was unacceptable. I even brought the water bottle to her with the one I trapped and she shrugged her shoulders and said she couldn't tell what it was. At ck out the manager said yes it was bedbugs and she was sorry. Sorry doesn't get back the money I spent in decon and the stress I've had all week worrying abt bringing them home. This hotel is one of few that offers a govt rate. Run federal employees. This place is terrible.

Even a few porch swings and good shade. I met a friendy black kitty on the back porch one morning. The room is decent size, with everything you need. The wallmounted TV worked with a decent selection of channels. Bed was comfy. Fan works, heater works. Hot water is nice and hot, and I did not have to wait a long time for it either. Towels are soft, and pillows are fluffy. What more do you need? Breakfast, that's what! I recommend getting breakfast with the room. They provide a wonderful breakfast basket. And they drop it with you the night before. PERFECT. Quick, simple, already in your room. ( see photo). Plenty of options, plenty of food. Coffee maker in the room, above the mini fridge and microwave. Each room has a Private bathroom. The sink and vanity are in room. This is an old west kind of town, and this lil' gem of a hotel fits in here just right. Fair price for a place to rest my head

Perfect portion, flavor, not too heavy/complex, but certainly delicious. I am glad to have visited Sonora, but not sure if I'd make it an annual trip, to replace it with Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, or Napa. If your goal is to spend your time in the new building, there's plenty of parking down on the lower lot. We signed up for the players club which came with $10 in free play, which got used up pretty quick. They have a ton of slots and a handful of card tables. The lowest minimum I saw for blackjack was $15, and definitely the most popular of the blackjack tables. I spent most of my time on the slots and while I started off hot, the casino always wins in the end lol. I racked up enough player points to get a free bluetooth speaker, which was pretty cool! The slots I had the best luck on was the Top Dollar and Huff n Puff machines. Everything else was no good for me. The Casino floor isn't huge by any stretch but does what it needs to do. They have a few restaurants on-site. The 209 sports bar was the busiest and one of the only spots to watch sports and eat. The bar on the 3rd floor had live music after 9pm and was pretty lively. I was low key very surprised at how busy it was. Overall, solid spot to get your casino fix that just so happened to be a short drive from where we are staying.
