Probably not the best time to be here during their renovations. The rooms and renovations are coming along fine BUT the guests are not being accommodated. Website mentions "breakfast" there isn't any breakfast available. The least they can do is provide some sort of bagged breakfast. ??? The front desk and market, are also in the area where renovations are being done and it gets pretty dusty. The items in the market area are dusty. Workers. Not too interactive with guests. They just give you your key and expect you to know where to go lol. They also don't give any kind of sympathy or apologies for the renovation dust. The girl who checked me in seemed to care more about what was going on in her phone and rushed my check-in. Where's the customer service??? Aren't they the "face" of the company? First impressions always begin with the people, I think. Getting to my room was easy. Signs to lead me there. The room itself is nice and updated. Except, the renovation isn't complete in the rooms either. Missing cupboard handles, door frame is missing doorknob metal thing, no microwave. And don't get me started on the WiFi. There isn't even a connection. They advertise FREE WIFI. You can't even find the connection under the WiFi. On none of my electronics, it wasn't pulling up. Maybe the renovations cut the cable for it or something?? Idk! Again, like I did, probably a bad time to visit this place while they're under renovations. But still, even with the front desk lady, don't think it's worth coming back because of that?! I'd recommend somewhere where there aren't any renovations going on and they still serve their "breakfast included" and "free WiFi" as advertised.

    Clean rooms

My bf and I used to come here every other weekend. We Haven't been for two years, but times we did go they weren't that bad. Bed was always clean. The staff was decent. The parking was easy and the rooms were always clean. Only thing that was weird was the T.V. Was facing the side the bed instead of in front of it. Hotel is convenient because it's right off the free way & right next to shopping center with bunch food places. Our stay was always nice. We don't travel out that way anymore but if we every do again this place is one or the few hotels we choose from.

I'll give this hotel 2 stars because of the things like smell of the place (especially the halls), the closet doors were dirty, and not to mention the bug bites I got (2 of 4 shown in pictures; they're a lot more visible in person). I'll be honest, I didn't look into it nor investigate further because I was afraid I would discover bed bugs or something of that sort front desk was okay though; Liz was very helpful with all of my questions. Stayed for about 8-9 hours, and this was my experience. It was decent, and most likely wouldn't book again.

Beware! This place is unclean! Gross! Stains all over the carpet, the walls are dirty and throughout this hotel it is more than gross. This can't be a hotel! Less than a motel! I would give minus 20 stars if I could!!! If you don't have COVID-19 when you check-in you'll probably have it when you leave this unsanitary establishment! This Hotel should be boarded up and condemned! The reservation name was Terri Harrison and I was her guest.

The first night I checked in I felt at home the room was clean and spotless I was very happy with the service and room no complains at all I recommend this Hotel . The Hostess Anna was very pleasant. And very helpful. I give this hotel a 5 star review.

    Stains on the floors

Country Inn and Suites has been the worst experience for my family and me. The floors were filthy, the room had a very unpleasant smell, scuff marks all over the hallway and room, access to the pool was difficult and the spa was not working. Front desk staff was not welcoming. There was also a homeless encampment outside of the hotel. The pictures on Expedia and any site are deceptive. We usually stay at Ayres which is 100% better but they were all booked so we decided to give this motel a chance but never again.

    Wth is this?

I waited for ten minutes to be assisted when I arrived. I paid for a suite with a kitchen but was unable to use it. There were no dishes, utensils, pots, pans, glasses, dish soap or a rag. There was only enough coffee for one person. There were greasy fingerprints and old drips of ??? running down the surfaces of cupboards and also someone's old open candy in the drawer. Additionally there were (maybe pasta sauce) splatters on the desk and couch that were not from us. The carpet had all manner of stains from food to juice or blood or ??? The cabinets are all chipped and need wiping. All the walls were dirty, the cover-less ironing board was filthy, all the furniture had holes. And wtf is that on the curtain!? The vanity lighting points towards the ceiling which defeats the purpose of the vanity-good lighting for getting ready. The shower squirts water straight out of two holes that maybe used to be knobs and the water is difficult to regulate. The door does not close properly to lock unless you shut it hard and pull. I missed breakfast. I wanted to give one star but I have to say the bedding, shower, toilet, fridge and microwave were clean, thank you God! The common areas were clean and free parking.

    ROACH- SO GROSS!

I recommend requesting the dark roast if you like your coffee strong, their dark roast is amazing! Tifanie was very helpful during check-in and check-out and was extremely friendly. Unfortunately, I do have a few complaints, which are a bigger deal for me since I had little ones with me. I requested an extra pillow and blankets for the room, but there was no staff available to bring them up, so I had to go down to the front desk to pick them up myself. Another time, when I was bathing my daughter, I noticed the conditioner was empty. I called and asked if they could refill it or bring a travel-size bottle, but again I was told I would need to come to the front desk to get it. This is the first hotel I've stayed at where I had to leave my room to get items that either weren't properly stocked or were simple requests. I also noticed one of the towels in the bathroom was dirty, and the floor near the bed was wet when we arrived. While the staff was friendly and the hotel had a nice vibe, the housekeeping team definitely needs some improvement.

The rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable, which made the stay even better. A big plus was the lobby offering coffee 24/7--always appreciated. Breakfast was definitely better than the typical hotel breakfast. The cinnamon waffles were delicious, and they also had eggs, sausage, and egg croissant sandwiches that were really good. Other options included four different types of cereal, blueberry muffins, and milk from the carton (TruMoo), which was a nice touch. A couple of small notes for future guests: if you prefer firm pillows, you may want to bring your own, as the pillows provided are very soft. Also, the Wi-Fi is not secured or unique to each room, which may matter to those who work or travel with sensitive devices. Overall, a great experience from start to finish. I'd absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, modern hotel with solid amenities.

Here's the good: free parking. Now for the rest. Starting with security--or the lack of it. The only visible security was a guy in a security uniform wandering around the "bistro" during breakfast and staring at guests. Other than that, anyone can walk into the lobby, onto the patio, into the bar, up the elevators, and onto the guest floors. No key access is required anywhere. The Wi-Fi situation is also concerning. There's a guest network, but there are also several suspicious room-linked networks showing up. Whether they're legitimate or not, it certainly doesn't inspire confidence. The lobby bistro was disappointing. The food was bland, watery, and overcooked. When I ordered tea, it arrived in a teapot with a broken handle. Not exactly the level of hospitality you'd hope for. The elevator didn't inspire confidence either. The doors began opening before the elevator had fully stopped at the floor, which felt more alarming than convenient. The room itself was pretty janky. A decorative scarf tossed across the bed seemed to be doing a lot of heavy lifting in the design department. The bathroom sink was missing the drain cover, the bed squeaked and creaked with every movement, and the walls were paper thin. We could clearly hear the TV from the neighboring room. There's only a few tv stations and no streaming options. The second floor was noisy overall, with parking lot sounds carrying late into the night and starting up again early in the morning. If you're hoping for a good night's sleep, lower your expectations. The pool and spa area were equally disappointing. The hot tub had food and something dark floating on the surface, and children were using it unsupervised. The view from the pool isn't relaxing either--unless freeway signs are your idea of scenic. What bothered me most was how misleading the photos are. The pool looks lovely online. The room photos show bathrobes that don't actually exist. The food photos displayed throughout the hotel look appetizing and polished, while the actual meals that arrive bear little resemblance to what's advertised. Overall, the photos sell a completely different experience than the one you'll actually get. Aside from free parking, I struggled to find much to recommend here.

This made it impossible to relax or sleep, and I had no choice but to check out early. No guest should have to leave a hotel they paid for because the room is uninhabitable. What is even more concerning is that after looking at other reviews, I saw multiple guests reporting the same marijuana issue. This clearly shows it is an ongoing problem that management has not properly addressed. Although another room was offered, it was late at night and not reasonable to move, especially with my granddaughter. At that point, the damage to our stay was already done. A non-smoking hotel should enforce its policies and ensure guests are not exposed to smoke. I paid for a service that was not delivered.
