Super cute consignment store! My kids and I spent over an hour wandering through this wonderful…read morestore. It has a bunch of little booths where people have set up their own little section of things to sell. Kind of like a flea market that's always there. The perfect place to find random treasures. The actual store is a bit pricey, but this place is well worth a visit.

Its a 30 min drive from Vancouver on the 503. We spent almost 3 hours there and still hadn't completed our journey as we were starving. So we said we would return another day. We had so much fun walking from booth to booth, admiring and finding something to take home. This place has something for everyone. They house new merchandise, vintage, and antiques and even crafts and fabric materials. I found a vintage Mickey Mouse hand crank music box ( aka Jack in the box), and a mirror for my home. This store was very accommodating, we had our arms and hands full, they offered us baskets to keep our items in. The baskets stay in a cubbie space by the counter. A nice touch. The only thing I would mention for the owners, is to have more staff during the holidays. But, such a fun place to get caught up in, "I want, I want, I want" lol

The staff are very knowledgeable, and provided me with information on several projects my partner and I are currently working on. The owner, Zachariah, is a font of knowledge, with years of experience in the industry. Located in the Arbor Lodge neighborhood, Sewlarium is a bit of a drive for me, but I'm happy to support small businesses striving to serve their communities. This store is clean, well lighted, and surprisingly well-stocked for such a small footprint. I was able to find several yards of beautiful jersey material that I can't wait to make some shirts from. There is plenty of street parking in front of the business, and on the side street as well. If you're making a trek to visit this store from elsewhere in Portland like me, consider yourself in for a treat because there are some great restaurants and coffee shops in the area. (Not to mention Mike's Drive-In across the street!)
