They confirmed that my date was available and told me to send them all of my details and inspiration. I emailed them twice with no response. Sad that Country Lane did not live up to their reputation. They were recommended to me by my first florist, who was unfortunately struck by a heart condition two months before my wedding date and could no longer keep the gig. A friend of mine was in a traffic accident and finally made it home from the hospital. While flowers and cards filled with well-wishes greeted him at the hospital, once people return home, the flowers fade and the cards get put away. Since I don't live in the area, a week or so after his hospital stay, I contacted Main Street Floral Shop by phone. I spoke with a lady who was able to put together a nice arrangement in my price range. Everything went well and delivery was scheduled. Shortly thereafter, I received a text message from my friend telling me that the flowers had arrived. I am sure he was surprised to get them, but as I explained, they were more for the people that are currently caring for him. It never hurts to do something nice for someone, especially in time of need. Folks, I am glad to support local Mom and Pop businesses that do such a great job of providing services to our community.
