The food was where things went south. It took 30 minutes in a half full restaurant. I ordered the namesake Tattooed Dog, as I've had it before. It arrived with onion rings... 4 of them, from medium down to small. The dog was mostly warm (not hot), but withered like it had been cooking for a while. The meat was placed atop chili that was cold... cold enough to rob the warmth from some spots of the dog. The bun was a soggy mess, and none of the cheese was melted, so it couldn't have been under the heat lamp. It looked fanciful when served, but it was very underwhelming eating compared to past experiences. My wife had the chicken wrap, served with French fries. In a day and age when competitors give out fries like they need to clear an overstocked situation, it was a small handful that would normally be found in a Happy Meal from the famous clown. The wrap itself was shy on the chicken, and heavy on the dressing inside. What used to be a nice place, appears to be sliding downhill, as if the kitchen has given up. If they've checked out, so have we.
