Peach pie -no sugar -looked good and filled with peaches, which still had the crunch and tasted fresh; preferred the natural sweetness. So good when warmed in the oven. Only complaint is that we had to remove white paste-like bits from the bottom crust. $20 Blackberries I thought were $5 but after buying them, my husband said he saw $10 on the sign. Pricey for me but they were the plumpest I have tasted and didn't feel the seeds much. Peaches were sweet 3.99-4.99/lb. Parking in the back. read more

In response to the owner, I live 2 hours away, so coming back to bring back the product isn't an option. Also, I agree if it was just an apple, no biggie. However, it wasn't one bad apple it was 5 out of 5. Any person would get upset about that. Everyone I bought. That leads me to question quality control. And, what I didn't mention, but will update now, is that we also bought plums for my mother in-law and she informed us that they were all bad. And yes, I was upset and posted a review because, I don't think other people should have to go through the same thing. Lastly, I have refrained from posting a review in the past when similar things have happened at your stand, because I do prefer to give businesses a chance. This time though it was a little too much bad produce and beyond one bad apple. read more

On Saturday, I attempted to turn into the country view stand from route 25's eastbound lane when, to my horror, I encountered a vintage mustang convertible parked smack at the entrance ramp leaving me stranded across the 25 westbound lane with a car fast approaching. Fearing imminent danger to life, limb and property, I honked and I honked. Finally, the mustang's owner moseyed over to his car seemingly without a care in the world. To make matters worse, the proprietor comes barreling out telling me to "be patient". Really? Was the mustang owner buying 100K worth of produce? There is ample parking in the back of the stand. A "no blocking entrance" sign is sorely needed. The fruits, vegetables and pies are great but not worth my life. read more

Okay little farm stand in Southold with fresh produce, pies, breads and the such. Brought home a apple, strawberry, rhubarb, raspberry and blackberry pie which had good filling but the crust leaves a bit to be desired. Not flakey enough and tough on the bottom. The fresh blackberries were great though. Nice and sweet and plump with a nice sized bundle for $5. It's not that expensive for a farm stand either. Service at the counter was courteous. Biggest complaint as with all farm stands are the swarms of yellow jacket wasps attacking from all angles. I wish they'd do something to get rid of them because they're a dangerous nuisance. A decent farm stand and I'd return for more fresh blackberries. read more

We pass it a hundred times...decided to actually stop and check it out. Big assortment of fruits, vegetables, chicken eggs, duck eggs, bread, pies, cookies... But.. Pies...ugh...bottom completely raw, inedible, gooey. Loaves of housemade bread...just ok. The sales girl was so rude! She was packing our $50 worth of items in plastic bags..we gave her one of our recycled tote bags to use instead...she sighed rudely..."I did all this...you should have told me" (she only half packed one bag) (What's the big deal?) She walked away while we repacked everything ourselves. I give 5 stars! to...Saporita Sweets! (They are just on FB, no physical store, just off-sight catering) The farm was selling their cookies! Chocolate chip, ginger, chocolate crunch. You can park about 5 cars in front, or there's some extra spots in the back. read more

Our go to spot for homemade pies, local fresh fruit, local vegetables, local cheese and local duck breasts. We're sad when they close after Thanksgiving and rejoice when they open in the spring! Great friendly service too. We recently bought a honey crisp apple pie from Country View that was delicious. It's my new favorite. read more

Pies are decent but the prices are astronomical. Fresh mozzarella and 2 peaches... $16 ?? Seriously? The cheese is good, but it's not THAT good. One thing I hate here, and I won't return any longer, is the "upsell" when you pay. The woman who's owns the stand is always pushing to sell other things when you pay - big turn off.. not returning. Prices are too high. Bayview in Jamesport area is much better and prices re more reasonable.... read more

Great farm stand! However DO NOT MISS the PIES And breads! There must be about 10-15 different pies, which are made fresh each morning, and they are reasonably priced at $15.99 each. If you want to pick pumpkins, go here. My boyfriend and I drove up from Brooklyn last weekend looking to pick some pumpkins. On the way there, we drove past several other pumpkin patches filled with people meandering about (they looked like hoards out of The Walking Dead). We skipped these and kept driving until we saw the sign for Country View. It had an awesome patch with huge (and small) beautiful ripe pumpkins. Plus we were the only ones there - we had the entire patch completely to ourselves. We got four pumpkins (I think they were 40 or 50 cents per pound) and then headed over to the farm stand itself and got a bunch of other great groceries that we hadn't planned on picking up... local, local, local eggs, lettuce, apples, brussel sprouts, red onions, pears, red peppers, milk. Very nice and helpful people and great produce. It was exactly the experience we were looking for on a sunny but chilly fall afternoon. read more

I have been going to this farm stand for a couple of years. The "home made" pies were alway like my Mom used to make. I bought an apple pie on 5/6/2017...a day after this seasons opening. I LOVE this farm stand!!! I go every day during the season, spring to thanksgiving. I tell everyone about their fresh produce, homebaked pies, fresh mozzarella cheese, fresh daily farm raised milk. They will get it if you need it !!! also their BBQ catering service is AWESOME!!! So glad they are 1/2 mile from my house. We, my dog Nyhree & I walk to the stand,, she goes for treats!! Can't believe these other reviews! This place is a sham. NOT fresh home grown produce or home made pies: there' s no such thing as Southold grown watermelons, cantaloupe, limes, apples, etc., etc., etc., in JUNE! Seen any banana trees in town lately? How about frozen store bought pies sold as home made? Consumer beware. This place has its stuff brought in by a commercial produce distributer, and you can buy the same things, probably fresher, at Waldbaums. read more
