Had a taste for crabs but didn't want to go too far from home. Hoped on Yelp and found Country's Seafood was within a 10 minute drive so I had to check them out and I'm so glad that I did. When I walked in I was greeted by a few smiling and friendly faces. The young lady let me know that they only had medium males and large females available for the day. That didn't bother me so I went with a dozen medium males and the crab pretzel. The crabs were cooked and seasoned to perfection. Not overly seasoned which normally overpowers the actual flavor of the crab meat. So glad I came across Country's Seafood and will definitely be back for more crabs. read more

I usually get my crabs from here but will not anymore! Very rude young lady answered the phone after telling me previously to call back to preorder later. Per her request, I did just that and now she said they couldnt take orders over the phone. When I explained I was told by two different people to call later to preorder she stated "oh well we are busy" in a rude tone. We saw a review about this establishment and decided to visit for crabs. We ordered a dozen large male crabs, steamed shrimp, king crab legs, and crab dips. The service and prices were good; we got all these below $200. Apparently, you're supposed to go and park while they come out to you, but we didn't know, and they were kind enough to take our order still. Would you believe that I didn't start liking crab things until I was an adult? And furthermore, would you believe that I had my first whole crab experience just a few months ago?! Well it's true!!! I was with a couple of friends who wanted to do some crabs, and I took a deep breath but I was like "OKAY let's do it!" They said they knew a place, so I was just along for the ride. We pulled up next to a gas station, and there's this unassuming building that sells seafood. We didn't even have to go inside... someone came out directly to the car. My friend told him how many crabs we wanted, and within minutes, we had it! We got back to the house, laid out the paper bags and newspapers, and started the process. There was lots of Old Bay, and my hands got really messy! The crabs had some sharp edges too... I should've used gloves! The seasoning burned some of my fingers were slight cuts were. I didn't know what to expect since it was my first time, but it was delicious! My friends enjoyed theirs as well, so I know they were definitely great crabs! Price point was nice too. I can't speak for the other seafood, but if you're in the cut and want some great crabs at least, this is your spot! read more

Me and my family love this place! The crabs and crab legs are always fresh but last time I got crab legs they weren't as fresh and that's ok. I am new to this place and came do to Jessie Taylor's being closed and Moes can't get it together. Their reviews were great and so were the prices. I ordered 4 dzs of female crabs yesterday. First taste they were hot and fresh. When I continue going in and selecting my crabs, I noticed more and more of the crabs were empty and the bottoms of these females were clean as a whistle. Any real crab eater knows that crabs are fat when the bottoms are rusty dirty and the females are full of eggs. I literally had a half a dozen maybe that had eggs that was heavy. Now, I'm eating the rest and they are all empty. This is very disappointing because I spent $80 on 4 dozens only to get maybe a total of 2 full dzs. This was a bday gift to myself even though I lost my job. I am depressed and wanted a treat. I am going to trash the rest. I wanted to return them, but they run out and close in a few hours. I love my crabs and had a craving for a dozen steamed crabs on a Sunday. I was not in the mood to travel to my usual spot so I did a quick search on my phone to get the names of the closest places near me offering steamed crabs. I have seafood places near me but they don't offer steamed crabs so I was happy to see Country's pop up as a new place for me. I went to Country's with big hopes and ordered a dozen steamed male crabs. It was easy in and easy out. My wait was not bad at all. I have to say that I was not disappointed with my purchase. The crabs were awesome! Super fresh, juicy, and just plain good. Yum! I am thrilled that they are so close to me. I plan on going back this week for more. I found out about Country's Seafood after someone on Nextdoor asked about where to buy good crabs. I am a PG county native and have tried plenty of crab houses in the area. My go-to is Captain Mo's but I decided to give this place a try on July 4th, no less. I cannot explain how GOOD these crabs were/are. I started following them on FB and saw they opened at 12pm. Thinking I was going to somewhat beat the crowd, I arrived at 1115 and there were at least 20 cars in front on me. I didn't mind waiting though and was able to order a dozed of large males. When I tell you they were hot, fresh, big and meaty...I lie to you not. They were amazing. How did I not know about this place....smh. No worries, we know now and will definitely be back. Had friends in from out of town. We got oysters and crabs. The oysters were awful. They were spoiled and I am pretty sure not Local. The crabs were from the Carolinas and were not full. If you are going to charge for large crabs they should be full.they were also over cooked or dead prior to cooking. I was embarrassed after bragging on the quality of seafood in the area. Not the first time I have bought from country seafood. I was satisfied in the past but will NEVER spend money there again. What a shame I like to buy local. read more

This was my first time here but I will definitely be coming back before the summer is over. Honestly, I hadn't even known about this place until it was recommended by my brother so I went ahead and gave them a call. We were looking for a half bushel, #1 males and was told $110 so I went ahead and put an order in for later that evening. I arrived about 30min early and they were happy to get my order started. I waited about 10-15min and my crabs were ready - NICE N HOT! While waiting I noticed a steady flow of people coming to pick up orders they had placed. Oh, this is def a carryout/pick-up order spot... No tables for you to eat only chairs for waiting, an arcade game and a television. They also nicely had their menu with prices and had raw shrimp (all that I noticed) in the freezer for sale. This place is very clean and I loved their decor. The crabs speak for themselves - they were all meaty (of course some more meatier than others) but definitely large males. My mother, brother and I CRUSHED a half bushel (don't judge we love some crabs!). Thanks Country's!!! read more

Ordered 3 doz of what were supposed to be medium male crabs. Got them home and it was clearly a mix of regular and small. The crabs were flavored well though. Our mix of smalls and regular were pretty meaty though even though they weren't the size expected. And the price I can't complain about. Overall that's why I've given 4 stars.
