It's a great place. My daughter was looked after in this place until 3rd grade. All the teachers, caretakers and the staff were nice. She still miss Queen Nancy and her bus rides, Ms Maria, Ms Flow Ms Nancy. We were lucky that such a great place was available to us in Ringwood. read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone. The owner sold us on all these great enrichment programs for our son. Tuesdays computers, Wednesdays cooking, Thursdays Spanish and Friday Music and Yoga. What she failed to mention is that they are monthly not weekly. We were told there would be 7 to 8 kids in his class...there were 14 (2 to 3 year old) smooched in a tiny little room. Yes there were two teachers but at ALL hours of the day the class was out of control and one teacher was always changing a diaper. The two teachers were very nice. They were the ONLY thing I liked about the school. A few weeks into the school year my 2 1/2 year old son broke his leg and was going to be out of school for a few weeks. When I spoke with the owner about giving us a break on our tuition for the month or accommodating his needs she told me that it was a place of business and it was not her problem. She then told me I could withdraw him from school and then reapply but she couldn't guarantee me a spot for him because they have a very long waiting list. When I decided to remove him from the school she made me pay for the full two weeks notice so I could get my deposit back. The owner is only there to make money and does not care about the kids or the teachers. Don't be fooled by her overly cheerful self. It is all a lie. read more

this is a wonderful facility, with a warm caring staff that goes above and beyond. they are so through, they just re opened with COVID-19 precautions and are taking every possible precaution, and doing it all with a warmth that is hard to come by now days. I have 2 children at Countryside and have been sending my kids there for 3 years. The teachers are very involved and personally interested in the development of the kids. Most of the other parents I talk with are happy with Countryside, some are not. There are always improvements/changes that can be made, but my children are happy, protected, loved, and educated at Countryside. Sure, there are changes and additions I'd like to see, but my Wish List isn't constrained by budgets or reality. Anyway, I am happy with my kids going to Countryside. Plus they also will bus the kids to and from the Ringwood schools! read more

Our child attended this daycare for a little over a year. Most of the staff are wonderful and truly care for the children but of course you have some bad apples. We had two incidents of abuse and neglect one of which was covered up and for this reason we took our child out. The facility itself is old, dingy, and most times smelly. The staff are overworked and under supported with little to no training. The child to teacher ratio is consistently not per state regulations which had led to a few incidents of our child getting hurt because no one was watching. I would strongly recommend finding a different daycare and one with cameras is worth the extra money! read more

I wrote about Countryside last year when my children had finished Kindergarten, however Yelp chose not to 'recommend" my review - as a parent who placed my children at this daycare for 4 years I'm really not sure why this would not meet requirements for a review. As a working mother I have had my fair share of experiences with daycare facilities in the area. I was not happy with this particular one. I believe for the experience you child is getting daily the price is not a fair one. Many other day cares in the area have a much better education based schedule where the children learn and also have fun. I feel my daughter was often bored and somewhat lost in the shuffle.. Very happy!! As September is just around the corner and my little one is moving on to the toddler classroom, I had to share my experience with Countryside thus far. My daughter has been at Countryside since she was 3 months old and I could not be happier with my decision to send her here. The teachers have been helpful, loving, caring and simply just truly amazing people. I am a single mother and the teachers, the office and the owner have been overly helpful and accommodating. When I walk in, my daughter and myself feel like we are walking into our home. I haven't always known was I was doing as a single mother and they have helped me every step of the way.
