They was a neat family-friendly bowling alley. We came for a birthday party and the staff was very nice. The party room is also a good size. They have launchers for little kids which was cool. Like most reviewers the alley is out dated but the kids still had fun.

So I am bowling in a league here on Wednesday nights. I enjoy the company and the fellowship with the guys there which is why I continue to show up. As far as the center goes it is brighter than most and looks clean and the staff is friendly whenever I have had an interaction with them which is pretty infrequently. One of the things that I do not like (and this might not seem like a lot) but the water fountain has been broken for several months now, and they do not seem to want to even repair it. Perhaps it drives sales of bottled water and other beverages from the snack bar. Otherwise I enjoy my time bowling there.

Coming from Charlotte, you do not always get the best service at bowling alleys, so I was really impressed. We had a pretty big group of boys from 6th-9th grade along with parents and coaches, and the staff was so positive, patient, and helpful with everything we needed. They made the whole experience easy and enjoyable for our group.

I around 9:25pm on Wednesday evening with a friend. It was cold inside lol. The cashier was Keith,…read morewho was also a manager. There was a special for $11.50 unlimited bowling until they closed at midnight. Shoe rental included. We were put on lane one. The instructions on the screen doesn't match the buttons on the machine. It's outdated, honestly. We figured it out and got it set up and started bowling. We were hungry and decided to get food. We went to get food at 9:50pm ish. Jane was snack bar staff. She stated that she's was supposed to leave at 10pm. She added that the oven was off, so that took away pizza, cheesy dippers, and pretzels. 8 wings come with the classic wings and 5 tenders are in the regular chicken tenders order. I ended up getting Alley sampler which comes with 5 moz stick, 5 wings, 3 tenders, 9oz fries and 5 cheesy dippers. I also got beverage called Berried Alive Lemonade (alcoholic). The total for it all was $38. My food came around 10:15pm. It was hot and fresh. At 10:23pm, I heard final order announcement for food/drinks. At 10:34pm, my friends food arrived. He said it was hot. He was supposed to have garlic parm fries with his chicken tenders and they were regular. They tried to give it on the side but friend said it wasn't good. I checked on my drink at 10:36ish and was told that someone else was making it. My friend and I went back around 10:44pm to check on drinks. My friend got a blue Long Island and it was sitting there since the last time we check about 10 minutes ago but no one said anything. There was another drink sitting which was supposed to be mine but apparently someone else took my drink. What was there was a mai tai. The staff began making my drink around 10:46pm and she brought it to me about 2 minutes later. It was tasty. Overall, bowling itself was fine. We had no issues with the lane. The biggest downfall was the wait for food and drinks. There was only one staff in the kitchen. Another lady, who i assumed was a manager didn't help until later on. This bowling alley is definitely not the best in Greensboro. I would say possibly better than Triad Lanes but Spare Time is definitely the best. There is Bourbon Bowl downtown but it's expensive and I haven't been yet. This would be a good spot if you want a chill and not so busy atmosphere. They can get busy though. Personally, this wouldn't be my first choice. I had planned to drink and bowl and it took almost an entire hour just to get my drink. Then there was no time to get another one.

It was like 20 mins drive. We didn't know what to expect. When we arrived, we were excited to see what this location provided and hoping it will be good compared to the last location we went to in other state. The place was clean and there was a good amount of people playing at the arcade. The service was great. We didn't have any complaints about how the place run. We noticed people who were playing at the claw machines seem to be happy and they won bunch of plushies. We also won a few plushies too. We also took a photo at one of the Photo Booth. Overall, we had a great time. My friend family said they will come back and take their kids there again. The kids loved it as well. Plus it was their first time going to a

The prize redemption prices are astronomical which is a massive disappointment to any kids you've brought who may think that they can get a $0.50 prize after their parents spent $75 in game time for them - and they find that they only have 1/4 of the points needed for the cheapest things. Gaming prices also feel considerably higher than other options in town but with that said, they have the biggest selection of newer games in town so that's a trade off that I can understand. The food appears fine but I haven't had a chance to eat here yet so I can't rate it. The bar service is annoying - despite having a full bar you have to order at a counter - when the bar is open. I understand they probably have issues at this location and I'm sympathetic but I would love to see more of a proper food and bar experience be available during common hours. This place isn't Dave and Busters by any stretch and the way food and drink is handled is where that comparison really hurts Round1. I would come here far more often if they had a better experience in this part of their offering, despite the gaming prices being higher than other options. The staff do seem generally friendly every time we visit though, so that's a big plus.

They sold me the "all day" pass, which was $60 for 4 people and shoe rentals, including 2 kids. Seems a bit pricey, but okay. Our first lane had technical issues but they moved us a lane over which seemed to work fine. I've seen bowling alleys that have electronic bumpers, but this place still had the manual ones. After we started our third game, we were suddenly cut off without explanation. When I went up to inquire, I was told that the "all day" pass ends at 3pm and they were so generous as to have given us an extra hour before cutting us off without warning. We arrived at 2pm, and I can't understand why I was sold something they knew was supposed to end in an hour. That aside, I saw no signage and was not informed. The girl behind the desk claims the GM who sold this to me "must have told me." I walked away because I could feel the anger rising. My wife came back and argued that I hadn't been told and that it made no sense to end an all day pass at 3pm. We were given a coupon to redeem 2 free games (expires end of year), so at least they did something to try and make it right. Just be aware about the all day pass because it ain't all day! The pizza we had was fine. Better than expected for a bowling alley. I'll probably come back to redeem that coupon and play some billiards.
