Good cheap fun! Prices for bowling are fair and a good way to get out of the house for something different. However, the low prices are reflected in the building. It hasn't changed much in over 15 years. Not that it bothers me personally, but you can tell it's not nearly as flashy as a new bowling alley. -1 star because this place is not in the countryside. Only kidding. :) However, the lady who works on Friday night was not very nice. She was a drink police. With just me and my husband renting a lane, we felt like we were micromanaged. We were asked to take our water bottle to the car. She wouldn't even let us empty it out and fill it with their water. Thankfully, the grill gave us a free water. However, within our lane beside the chairs, there is a spot for three drinks to be held - where our drinks were sitting. The worker came and told me that my drink, if not in my hand, had to be sitting on the back wall. I'm sorry but I do not like to have my back turned to my drink. I don't feel comfortable with the idea of someone touching my drink, taking it, or possibly putting something bad in it. I followed her rules and took it to the back wall when I was up to bowl. However, one time I had a child leaning up next to my drink and putting their shoes on the table beside my drink. I was just not a fan of this rule. But they own the place so they get to make the rules - just be aware of this. I told a friend about this incidence and she said she has never had a problem with being told to move her drinks out of the cup holder. Who knows? read more

They was a neat family-friendly bowling alley. We came for a birthday party and the staff was very nice. The party room is also a good size. They have launchers for little kids which was cool. Like most reviewers the alley is out dated but the kids still had fun. read more

So I am bowling in a league here on Wednesday nights. I enjoy the company and the fellowship with the guys there which is why I continue to show up. As far as the center goes it is brighter than most and looks clean and the staff is friendly whenever I have had an interaction with them which is pretty infrequently. One of the things that I do not like (and this might not seem like a lot) but the water fountain has been broken for several months now, and they do not seem to want to even repair it. Perhaps it drives sales of bottled water and other beverages from the snack bar. Otherwise I enjoy my time bowling there. read more

We have visited this bowling alley a total of 3 time thus far. First time was several years back, we had my youngest girls 5th bday party here and I remember us having a great time with nothing negative about the experience that I can recall. However we have been here twice in the last month and both times I felt that the staff was sort of irritated with us for showing up with only 1 hour left to bowl. We understood perfectly that we didn't have that much time and we're happily willing to pay for what time we had and fully understood we may not finish all games. We put all of the balls we take out back and return our shoes tied back properly and make sure we leave the lanes clean. The balls are much better than most other places, the lanes are decent and the shoes are def not the greatest but overall it's just ok. If the staff made you feel more welcome and not like an irritant then my rating would increase significantly. Wanted to give 3 stars but the absolutely terrible food prevents me. Word of advice, just eat before you get there bc anything served from that snack bar is suspect ASF. read more

My father, grandfather, and I have all been coming here for years to enjoy a few rounds of bowling and generally have a good time. I typically don't play more than one round per visit, but that isn't due to any fault in the business. When I was younger, my dad would give me a few bucks and let me go nuts at the built-in arcade. The arcade's been moved since then to make way for a sweepstakes, but it's still around where the bingo hall used to be. Heck, for all I know the room behind it might still be used as a bingo hall occasionally. The lanes are a little wonky sometimes, because you can never tell how dry they are, the Wi-Fi provided for those not bowling is a little weak, and the food and drinks are a little on the expensive side... But overall, this place is full of fond memories and run by good people. read more

Very disappointed !! My husband purchased a bowling ball for himself and our teen son from their shop. Had the holes drilled to fit each. Sunday afternoon game for the family turned very disappointing. As my husband unpacked his bowling ball he noted that it has cracked down the middle and will split if used !! This has occurred with minimal use !!! Showed the Owner and was informed he sees this often and THEY DO NOT WARRANTY IT !!!! So the several hundreds of $$ invested has been wasted on a poor product !!! You would think the small town Owner would care, apparently not !! read more

Countryside has a distinct smell (likely from the smoking-allowed days) but there is always a good time to be had here. The staff is usually pretty friendly. The food is usually surprisingly good and they have a decent beer selection (and fair beer prices). Midnight bowling is usually a good time, as well. read more

WORST BOWLING ALLEY I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! We went there on a Saturday night and it as pretty busy, as we expected. We went to the counter to pay for a lane and the lady told us there would be a wait because all the lanes were occupied. We were okay with that so we put our name on the list to wait. She told us it would be 40 minutes max, so we stayed to wait it out. No problem. About an hour later, lanes started opening up (two to be exact), and we were really excited. We waited another ten minutes and she hadn't called anyone on the list. Two more lanes opened up, and by this time we were confused. The guy at the next table, who was also waiting, went up to the counter and asked what was going on. (We were at the table closest to the counter so we overheard the conversation.) He said they had been there over two hours and there were plenty of open lanes. She said they were unavailable because the computer system had to reset itself. It was all controlled by the computer and they had to just wait it out. Two more lanes opened up and we were still waiting. We waited for an hour and a half and finally just walked out. If that is true and it there was nothing they could do, they should have at least talked to people about the situation instead of letting us ruin our Saturday night. Its time to update the system when its causing you to lose your customers. They could have made a decent amount of money off of us, as well as everyone else waiting. What kind of business is this? I will NEVER go back there. I'm so glad we didn't spend even a penny there because I do not want to support a business that clearly does not value its customers! read more
