So happy we were able to find this food truck after searching! Country road came highly recommended to us by a St Augustine local and he was right. Their food truck is only open on Wednesday's and man it was outstanding! The pulled pork and brisket sandwich came with the option of onions and pickles on top. With a sweet bbq sauce on the side. OMG the brisket and pork melted in your mouth so tender and packed with Smokey flavor. The Jalapeño potato salad was so different but delicious.

Right off SR207. Triangle Marine Services parking lot.

Finally got to stop by and get some. I've been wanting to come here since I read a glowing review of their brisket a year or so ago, just a bit rough to make the (almost an hour) drive since they are only open on Wednesdays 11am-2pm. Is it worth the drive/effort? YES Is it best to get there at/close to opening time? YES! John R & I got there at 11:05 and there was a line already. They sell out of most items quickly and the wait line can get long. The 2-person team who runs it is friendly and provides quick service. Their Smoked Brisket is the best one I've had in Florida and better than a lot of the barbecue spots I've visited in my travels including Texas. Having been to Lewis Barbecue in Charleston SC recently, same flavor profile and almost identical in tenderness & meat quality. There are no dining area setup so pick a spot to enjoy the meal somewhere else. If you love smoked brisket, bookmark this spot and go visit when you can, you won't be disappointed*. *if you get there late, you will definitely be very disappointed :)

This is the most delicious bbq I've ever had. I am literally not exaggerating. I'm a Texas girl, born and raised. I've been to the top bbq places in Dallas, Austin, San Antonio and idk if it's because I've been in Florida for two years but literally, this is the best. I've been thinking about County Road bbq every week but sadly, they're only open Wednesdays and they sell quickkkk. I somehow preordered late and received a phone call that most of the stuff I ordered was sold out already but they can set aside some turkey and brisket for me. I was already half way on my almost hour drive there so I was bummed but it was still worth it. The brisket was so moist and turkey is not usually my favorite because it's so dry but they definitely do it right here! You don't need bbq sauce but they do provide some. I can't wait to come back to get their jalepeno sausage and sides.

Brisket and turkey - yum! Tender and flavorful.

So glad I came across this truck in my searches for the best BBQ. They are only there on Wednesdays, but you can order in advance online then swing by to pick up. We did just that, ordering a pound of brisket, pound of turkey, and a full rack of ribs, along with a qt of cole slaw and a qt of the jalapeno potatoes. Hands down the best BBQ I've had in many, many years, if not all time. Those ribs are insanely tender with the perfect spice rub. The brisket was tender and the fat just melts in your mouth. Even the turkey was juicy and delicious, and usually whenever I order BBQ turkey I regret it because it comes out so bland and dry. Not here! The jalapeno potatoes, served hot, were an amazing accompaniment to the robust meats, just absolutely perfectly delicious. Even the cole slaw was the best I've had in forever, not too wet, with a great blend of veggies including pickles. When I picked up my order, I had to try a sandwich for lunch since the order was for dinner. I got the pulled pork with pickles and onions and added some of the BBQ you get on the side. WOW! The bun was so soft yet did not get soggy, and the sandwich was so easy to bite and chew it just went down way too fast. The perfect lunch. The truck is in a little parking lot off of 207. You need to be traveling southbound past the Circle K (where 312 intersects) and keep a sharp eye so you don't miss it. Parking could be a little tight if there's a crowd. If you are looking for excellent BBQ on a Wednesday, this truck is where you need to be!

But I gave it a shot, and I must say, these sandwiches are FANTASTIC. The steak is filet mignon and as the previous poster said it just melts in your mouth. Turns out their teriyaki wings were pretty awesome, also. The Mongolian beef wrap was messy, but tasty and not spicy at all, as described on the menu. I actually ordered the Mongolian chicken, but beef is what came out and I'm not picky. The GF had their beef and bleu sandwich. I believe MF's uses filet mignon for all of their steak sandwiches and that makes for very melt-in-your-mouth stuff. Mother Fletcher's (who now accepts credit cards, btw) sometimes parks behind the EverBank buiding in Riverside during weekday lunches (11am-1:30pm). They're based out of St. Augustine so you'll probably encounter them there most often. The overlords at work made a mistake and gave me a day off, so I was actually able to catch them in Riverside. Otherwise, I probably would've had to wait until the next rally.

They asked me where do the food trucks normally set up and I explained to them that it's usually beside the leasing office. They thanked me and we both went on our way. I've seen their truck in St. Auggie a few times but I've never eaten from them before, honestly because I wasn't interested it what they served. I was ignorant. Did I even look at their menu? No. Did I make assumptions? Yes and I ate my words. I told my boyfriend about the food truck and he was way more interested than I was, especially during these times when we can't dine in a restaurant. I mentioned that they had bison and lamb and his ears perked up. We let them finish setting up and headed back over to them. I knew that I wanted to try their sambusas as the variety of fillings sounded amazing. We decided on 2 bison and 1 chicken with spinach He wanted to share that and order the Lamb Curry with Rice. We ordered then put 6 feet between us and their order window to give them space. We didn't wait long and we had it in our hands, given and taken at an arms length. We thanked them and we headed back to the apartment. The sambusas are like fried meat patties, like samosas. These were so delicious. The lamb curry was simple with lamb chunks with rice, chickpeas, onions, and carrots. There was some dipping sauce on the side but I didn't use it as the curry was enough for me. This was a satisfying meal. Thank you for stopping by!

At the register, however, the price somehow became $14... A classic food truck bait and switch..though I kept my composure and hoped the food might still justify the cost. After about ten minutes, my order arrived. The disappointment was immediate. The sandwich was remarkably small, barely larger than a sauce cup, and the bread was dry. The so called jerk chicken bore little resemblance to the real thing, and what little protein there was proved equally dry and underwhelming. The dominant flavor came from a generic tomato based sauce, rather than any authentic seasoning. Two bites were enough. The fries offered no redemption: overcooked, greasy, and completely lacking in seasoning. All told, it was one of the most disappointing meals I've had in quite some time.

I just think they don't try hard enough, the people working there perhaps are not properly trained, paid or it just comes all the way from the top. I went there to give them a second chance since I had previously tried them about a year ago and I thought the food was not good back then, but maybe since they have been open long enough, maybe it was that one thing I had. Well I was wrong, I ordered just some appetizers, not even a full meal or anything and they took almost an hour to bring it out!! I didn't want to complaint so I just took my food to go and left, but when I got home the mandocas I ordered were terrible, tasted like they just reheated them and didn't even have cheese or nata which is what they should come with, or how they are served in any Venezuelan place you go to. On top of that, I had asked for cilantro sauce for the tequeños, they said it was in the bag, and when I got home they just put garlic sauce in there!! I didn't even eat, what a waste of money and energy to go there. Terrible experience, I don't recommend the headache to anyone, it's just not worthy. Unfortunately.

I will say the first thing I noticed was the shrimp were fried and in every picture I had seen the were grilled which I could see being an issue for some but not for me. The Limpia were fresh and crispy even after being in the box on top of the Pancit. Honestly I understand why they sell the Lumpia in such big sizes here cause you can throw them back. I will say the chicken could have been a little more spiced but still good. I really enjoyed the Pancit and did I mention already that the box was full of it? Great job! Honestly I never normally do this but I was actually able to make 2 menus out of it which is crazy for me. I will for sure come back to the Lumpia Lady and you will not leave hungry.
