We went there on a Saturday night about 830. We both had the steak burger and fries and two beers. I was worried because supposedly they stop serving food at nine . The steak burgers and fries were excellent and the service was even better even though the bar was very crowded. Originally we were going to go to the 1875 tavern but we did have one bad experience there and we opted to not risk it being the second bad experience . This place is right across the street practically from the 1875 Tavern . It's a little place with indoor and outdoor dining and a nice bar . The prices are also very reasonable . read more

Been coming to this bar for years on and off.. ordered a shot of patron thinking I was going to have that sour face reaction ... it was so watered down! The lime slice was brown not fresh.. so for $7 you get a shot of tequila flavored water with a slice of old lime .. read more

We love this little friendly bar just north of Portage County Line on Route 44. Tonight I had the "special" an 8 oz steak and shrimp for 8.50. My steak cooked medium rare to perfection. I love the fact that we can drink Busch Lite or Stella and not pay too much compared to other bars. They are busy on Friday evenings, but normally you can find a space at bar if no tables available. Sarah, Carrie and the other bartenders are always friendly-with prompt service. If you want a good steak, salad or pub food and not pay for overpriced meals, this is the place to go. I do miss a pool table...I'd give them six stars if they had that. :) The negative review I read was from a few years ago before the fire...& new owners... many improvements have been made since. read more

Gotta stop by for the beer battered fish on Friday night! If fish isn't your thing the steak and fries for $7 can't be beat. I also recommend the burgers or Philly steak. It's a worthy local. Keep in mind this is a biker bar yet has a welcome family atmosphere, the food is good and the waitresses are the best anywhere!! read more

My boyfriend and I stopped in the County Line Bar and Grill on Friday November 21, 2014 around 3PM. We were in the area looking at some property when we passed this place and decided to give it a try. Upon entering we were immediately greeted by the bartender Sarah who was very friendly and informative. Because of the time of day, there were only a handful of other patrons but they were all eating and pleasant. Sarah promptly brought our drinks, answered our questions about the menu and invited us to the first Chili Cook off they will be hosting on Saturday Nov. 28th while the Ohio State University and that team up north game will be on. I ordered a mushroom swiss burger with fries and my boyfriend ordered a rodeo burger with fries. He had a Christmas Ale with the glass rimmed with a sugar mix and I had a Coke. Our food was delivered piping hot and from the smell and looks of the burger I believe it was cooked on a char grill and not a flat grill. The cheese was perfectly melted over the mushrooms and it was topped with a great bun. The fries were fresh cut, real potato's not frozen crinkle fries. There was ketchup, vinegar, salt and pepper available on our table and all were full and the tops were clean. Our total bill was $22. We were both pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and quality of the food. If you are in the mood for a great burger for $6 bucks you can't beat it. Sarah also told us they run a $7 steak and fries special which we will definitely go back and give a try. The rest of the menu was pretty standard fare as far as bar appetizer's and sandwich's from burger's, fish, chicken, some salad choices and Sarah says the soups are home made. Overall, we thought this was a great find for a friendly, neighborhood type bar with good quality food and great price's. We will definitely go back. read more

This is a dive. I pass it all the time, and had to stop once just to check it out. Had a sandwich of some kind, unremarkable. The "kitchen" was just a messy little room off to the side; nobody else was eating, maybe I should have taken a hint. Noisy place, no atmosphere at all. It's the only bar around for miles, so that's probably why it still exists. Had a fire earlier this year, and was closed for repairs for a while, though I haven't been there since; I'll never go again, sorry. read more
