Court House towing helped me out when no one else would even entertain my call! I had a BIG box truck that needed a new battery or a special tow. They sent someone to look at it estimate the price. They were very upfront and set me up for the possibility of extra charges if they had to get it on a flat bed or do some other stuff with the drive shift (can you tell I'm not mechanically inclined?). When the tow truck driver got there he realized that the battery connection was loose. He tightened it and charged it up. No tow! No extra charges for the oversized vehicle! The dispatcher was a pleasure to work with! She is no nonsense, very direct, and gets it all done. Paid over the phone so I didn't have to make the extra trip to the tow truck location which was incredibly convenient and great customer service. Not a lot of options for roadside or tow service in Cape May County. Choose wisely. Choose these guys! read more

Terrible service! Hope they go out of business. Underwent a terrible accident and these guys made this a bloody nightmare.

This place sucks. They only let you get your items from 10 to 12pm.. Joke.. and then when you do go to clean out your car they have already gone through your car and stole from you. Then told me "someone hopped the fence the other day." Ok... sure.. maybe if you didnt leave the key in the ignition it wouldn't be open. They really suck. I recently had an experience with courthouse towing. To start the staff was reprehensible, and the secretary.I can't believe she has a job. She was one of the nastiest people i've ever had to deal with. I had items missing. They were just disgusting to deal with. read more

Deserves a 0 star review for how abysmal the customer service and sense of urgency this company has. Dispatcher is always miserable because I'm sure she receives thousands of calls a day wondering when they will open the impound lot so you can grab your belongings from your car. Absolutely rude on the phone. They won't answer a single question as to rates or distance or anything. You're just at their mercy because you're on the Parkway. We wanted to know if they'd be able to take the car the whole distance that we needed, or if we needed to have our roadside service do the remainder. my daughter was extorted for $320( he asked for 304, for the short ride and said he didn't have change ) cash from my daughter in the middle of the night , the driver yelled at her when she questioned on why they just sitting there when the car was loaded , after 20 minutes of him playing candy crush . Imagine sitting with a stranger on a highway in the middle of night in a truck and this dudes playing candy crush !!! People have no choice but to use this company on the parkway in the middle of the night , and the police told her not to bother calling AAA, the police also left her. I wish they had a yelp review ! I guess it's just hard for me who spent a lifetime helping people that someone could just leave my daughter in the middle of the night so..... Complete joke. Sorry but pray you don't have an issue on the garden state parkway in New Jersey. So Jersey has some stupid rule that only Court house towing can tow or assist you on the highway there. They rip you off. The tow driver was great and helpful. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the office staff they are rude and don't deliver when they say they will call you back. I had to call there 4 times and never got a straight answer. My trailer had a flat and I am from Pennsylvania the fender was running the tire from being bent somehow so changing the tire wasn't an option. Driver agreed and offered to tow to their yard and told me 20.00 a day storage I said I would be back in 2 days to get the trailer once I had parts and tools to fix it. I called the next day the lady in the office said I couldn't come on the weekend and had to wait a week til surprise went down on the following Saturday and called and said I was there to pick up my trailer while I was in the parking lot. Funny she said she didn't even know they had it while I was looking through the fence at it. An hour later the driver that towed it showed up to let me in and apologized for his coworkers as I stated that it puts him in a bad spot since he was the one I was obviously going to vent to. He then said me had to call the office to get an amount that I owed. He then tells me 1200.00!!!!! I told him that for that price I will take my stuff out of the trailer and they could keep it. He calls back to the office and I said I would pay 500.00 which I didn't think I should have had to pay that much since 20 a day x 7 days is 140.00 plus they charged me 375.00 the day it was towed. I have contacted the NJ attorney general on these scam artists but so far to no avail. So unless you're forced to use these clowns I would look elsewhere. read more

Horrible customer service, guy gets out the truck and doesn't greet the customer with any professionalism. No mask on the driver, he constantly coughed and was dirty/shirt had stains all over it. The company needs to train there drivers to be more professional and have better communication with the customer. They charge alot so they should be more professional. read more

Like many others, Courthouse Towing charges rates that are extremely high, gouging motorists when they have no other recourse. With an undriveable vehicle on the Atlantic City expressway, I learned that the State of NJ only permits this company to tow. Nevermind that I have roadside assistance from a private company. Apparently, the ACE is a private roadway where other tow companies cannot service their customers. Therefore, Courthouse Towing is the sole and only provider. They know this, and they willfully charge $300 to tow to the "nearest exit" which can be just a few miles away. Talk about kicking someone while they're down! I recognize the company is in business for profit, but this much? And, the State of NJ sanctions this. This is unbelievable! And, the gruff "gentleman" who answered the phone attempts to justify the price by stating "do you know how much we can in insurance"? I not only pay insurance, but roadside assistance that I cannot use, AND will have to pay for repairs. So... that rationale doesn't fly with me. And, given the numerous reviews stating not only the poor customer service and professionalism, but especially the "predatory", high charges -- they seem to be able to afford the insurance! Rude employees and high rates for the south jersey. They charged me 85$ for the window wrap, which is basically just a piece of plastic.

I was sent a tow truck when I broke down in Wildwood yesterday. I live 3 hours north. The driver was very kind and professional. He also waited with me until the rental car company came to get me. This towing service is predatory! I waited 45 minutes, after being assured there was a 20 minute response time. Then my van was towed .9 miles to a repair shop and the bill exceeded $220! Attached to this extortion was a 10% credit card processing fee, that I am sure is unlawful as the limit is 4%. In short, I spent more money to get my van towed less than a mile than to have it repaired. Don't use this company; if they aren't criminals, they are at best creeps. read more

Tow company was dispatched by Mossbrook Tire to pick up my car literally 3 blocks away. As my coworkers and I watched from my office window, the driver damaged my car and it almost fell off the ramp! This cause 2 deep 2 inch gouges down to the metal on my car. Body shop estimate $200. Mossbrook tire took pictures of the damage and advised that they are owned by same person, so they would handle it. Months later, I have never been apologized to or compensated for the damage. I was involved in an accident on AC Expressway. Live 2 hrs north. Was alone and didnt know what to do. Tow driver Chris B. was beyond wonderful. Gave me direction, advise and took his time to make sure I was ok and that I understood what I should do next. Following day I was at tow yard and Chris B. happened to be there on a call. Sorted out some confusion with my Insurance Company (he even spoke with agent on the phone!!) and just was a tremendous help in my decision making on whether to have vehicle towed home. Saved me hundreds of dollars! He didnt have to do any of that. Yet he reached out and was an extraordinary help to me. You have an exceptional employee in Chris. If only we could run into more people in times of trouble that are as selfless and caring. Truly caring, as Chris B. Cannot thank him enough!! Only gets 1 star because I have to in order to submit a review. One of their drivers literally ran us out of the right hand lane and onto the shoulder of the road on the parkway leaving cape may nj. He did not use a turn signal to warn us that he was going to merge. He was talking away on a cell phone when he ran us off the road, which is illegal in the state of NJ! Then we watched him proceed to drive down the parkway putting his right turn signal on and merging into the left lane. Stay AWAY from this company that employed a driver who doesn't follow the law or care about endangering the lives of others! Thank god for us that my husband is a good driver and there was a shoulder to drive onto...still shaking! read more
