Once you have completed Segment 1 and 2, they tell you to expect a Certificate of Completion in a week. In reality it took calling them twice just for me to receive it over two weeks later. There is very little availability for driving, and the scheduling process is a pain. Have fun attempting to make up classes because you are expected to wait over a week just to reschedule for a time after the test. Overall a horrible experience. 0/10. Got in touch with Jennifer on Friday morning to see how quickly we could get my son in for his road…read moretest. Surprisingly they had a spot Sunday morning and were willing to get us in. Because I was traveling I was only able to communicate by text and she was professional and very thorough even though it was awkward. Showed up and met her in person and I must say that she was super nice for it being 6:45 am on Sunday morning. She let us know that we would be testing with her dad, Keith. No problem as I read the other reviews and felt we were in good hands. To my horror the gas light came on while we were waiting. I told Keith and he said they could stop and put in $5.00 with, just in case. Super nice and a great experience for my son to practice filling the car. Over the top customer service and accommodation for my ding bat mistake. I did not go with them on the test as I am a phantom break pedal stomper and make my son nervous. He reported that Keith was very patient and put him as much at ease as he could be. He said he was not gruff, grumpy,or bossy but offered helpful suggestions in a teaching way, not just barking out directions or criticism. As I was waiting at the school I observed Jennifer also being very supportive and excited for the people that were testing with her. I wish I had researched driving school companies more for his level 1 & 2 classes. I feel like these two would have made it a positive experience and it would not have taken over a year for my son to get the confidence to take the road test. If you have a nervous driver or somebody that tests badly I really think you will do well with Keith and Jennifer!

We used Alert Driving School for my daughter's drivers test. We knew families that had used this…read moretesting service and had good experiences with Keith and Andy as instructors. The person performing the test for my daughter was Dan (a Teenager which was a bit surprising) and was very unclear with his instructions to her.(and later to me.) The directions he gave to her and later myself in regard to how often you are allowed to readjust position during the parking portion were incredibly confusing and also misleading. He said several times that "the driver is allowed to pull forward as many times as they want, to readjust." And it wasn't until the third time he was explaining that I stopped and said you keep saying it's allowed, then why did she get points? He said "Oh you're allowed but you get points every time you do it." So he told her she was allowed to adjust as much as she wanted but did not make it clear she would be marked for each time. He also told her several times she could ask any questions she wanted and as many questions as she wanted but then said in response to her questions "The State doesn't allow me to answer that question."

They host Kahoots, Jeopardy, and other fun games to make the sessions less monotonous and tedious. Ms. Samantha is very kind and helpful, and although people think Mr. Moy is rude, he actually does what he can to ensure that students are successful. It's when students are misbehaving and ignoring instructions that they're reprimanded. Overall, I enjoyed this experience and would love to come back for segment II.

I brought my sweater in for a fix and Pat quickly fixed it while I waited. She was so kind, worked quickly, and very helpful. I plan to bring all of my tailoring needs to Pat's in the future. I had two lined winter blazers that I've never worn b/c they were too long, so I wanted to price the work and determine if it was worth the cost to have them hemmed. I left the jackets and decided to call a couple other places for cost comparison, and I did call Pat to ask if she could come down a bit in the price. She said no and that hers was a fair price. That was okay because I totally agree with paying small business a fair wage and do not have a problem giving workers what they're worth. Just because I asked the question and kindly attempted to negotiate a bit with her, she rudely told me that she will not complete the work even though I kept trying to tell her to just go ahead with the price quoted (she wouldn't listen) and then she just abruptly hung up. She was so outraged and insulted that I would even pose the question that she didn't take a breath to realize that I was trying to say the price is okay and to go ahead with the alterations. Before arriving at the store to pick up my clothing, I decided to be gracious and forget about our previous phone call and forgive her poor behavior, but she decided to be rude again and tell me that I had the audacity to call her and ask her to negotiate the price. She obviously doesn't understand that it's okay to ask for a better price. It's her prerogative to say no thank you and let the customer decide if that's reasonable. I did not pressure her in any way, but her behavior showed her lack of professionalism and human decency to a customer. She's a rude and disrespectful person. Please do not support a business who treats others this way.
