I went to Courtesy Mitsubishi Attleboro yesterday (10/23/2021 to purchase a used Honda Civic that they had on their lot. I search the prices online and found the car I was looking for the price that I was willing to pay. (VIN: 2HGFC2F56HH534872/Stock: PM6194). The price on line was $19,595.00. We drove there and found the car on the lot. I asked the sales man that we would like the take the Civic that was advertised on line for $19595.00 for a test ride. The sales man said that the price is really $21,500.00. The price online is the price if you have a trade in only. I said "I saw the car on your web site for $19595.00." He started to tell me how they replaced the filters and did other things to the car that makes the cost higher. I said "are you going to sell this car for $19595.00?" He again said "no, the car is $21,500.00." Stay away from this dealership and save yourself money and aggravation. My son purchased a car. Had brake issues in the first three weeks. It was in the shop twice for more than a week ( same issue). Told them he wanted to cancel the sale. The temporary plate runs out in a week. According to them, "they just sent the paperwork to the state that day" (really?). I said we'll call and and cancel it. Brought my car to be fixed been 6 days no one gets back to u.I called they forgot car so still not fixed THEY SUCK don't go there.

On May 10th I went to Courtesy Mitsubishi in Attleboro where I have been a loyal customer for the last 13 years. I needed an oil change, tire rotation, and there was a knock in my steering wheel I needed checked out. As usual the gentleman at the front desk was more than helpful, and the wait wasnt long. I was told the knock in the steering was a steering shaft coupler but after much debate, (where the counter gentleman, Brandon, tried to convince a novice mechanic that he could drop my steering column and replace the coupler, but the mechanic didn't feel comfortable and was thankfully honest about that.) I was scheduled to come back the following Thursday, May 15th. In the days between my oil change and steering fix appointment I did not drive my car. Unbeknownst to me there was a small oil leak happening under my vehicle. I leave Thursday the 15th to get my steering worked on, all good things there (or so I thought). When I got in my car to leave a couple hours later, I had two screws, and two small white plastic clips in my cup holder. I drove down the road a bit and stopped at a store to run some errands. Upon taking my key out of the ignition I realize it is HALF HANGING OUT. Yes. My ignition is halfway popped out of my steering column. Fortunately or unfortunately this wasn't the first time I've encountered this so without thinking I popped it back in. I continue on with my day and the next day, Friday, I take my car out again. That's when my husband notices the oil puddling in our driveway. The next morning, Saturday May 17th I call Courtesy first thing to let them know something was happening, and I had reason to believe it was from my previous oil change, perhaps a faulty filter or o-ring. This time Brandon immediately denies any fault of Courtesy's. I hadn't been angry up until this point, not really. But to IMMEDIATELY deny responsibility before my car was even on the lift was insane and frankly, poor customer service. Regardless they told me to drive it in if I felt safe doing so and for the sake of time, I did. So on May 17th I returned to Courtesy Mitsubishi Attleboro for the third time in two weeks. For a second Saturday in a row I sat and waited for only an hour, when the mechanic admitted something was "a little loose" and they "tightened it up" so I shouldn't see anymore oil, but if I do to give them a call right away. I left not feeling confident. When I got home I put a large piece of cardboard under my car to monitor the oil drip, as there are now 6 large oil spots in my driveway and it was becoming hard to track. Within 3 hours time I had a dinner plate sized puddle under my car again. Of course the next day being Sunday, I had to wait until Monday morning first thing to call in. Monday May 19th I call and leave a message for Bill Brown, admittedly 10 minutes before they opened. I wait almost an hour before calling again. This time the front desk person, Dan, is the one to answer. Thankfully he apologizes profusely, says all the things an upset customer needs to hear, and asked me if I could be there in an hour. I drove down for the fourth time, this time kids in tow, and my car was brought right in. After a short wait, it was determined to be... A FAULTY FILTER... and I was sent on my way (unfortunately without an invoice or any documentation, my mistake). Finally feeling like the issue had been addressed I went home feeling relieved. Well jokes on me, because the following week, I went to get an inspection sticker at my local trusted place (shoutout to Naha's in Swansea where I will be going from this point forward), and the mechanic doing the inspection informed me that I WAS MISSING TWO LUGNUTS on my right front tire! They inquired as to if I had, or anyone else had, changed that tire recently. Which of course, I had my tires rotated at Courtesy Mitsubishi in Attleboro on May 10th, just one month prior. Naha's replaced my lugnuts for cheap money, but advised I inform Courtesy as it is obviously a huge safety issue. And yet for some reason, I didn't. I just wanted to put this horrible experience behind me and move on with my Elantra and my life. And then last night, I discovered something more. My car sits for several days at a time, all black, in this heat, so it cooks. I open the door to my beautiful Elantra last night and as I'm sliding into the seat I immediately notice my steering column has an ENORMOUS crack at the seam. I mean, this thing is wide open. And on the seam, clear as day, a long bead of dried glue. G L U E. So the mechanic who worked on my car on May 15th, the one who left two screws, and two white clips in my cup holder, the one who left my ignition half out of it's spot, also cracked my steering column and tried to cover it up with glue. I wasn't mad about the oil, I wasn't going to say anything about the ignition OR the lugnuts, but this is absolutely insane at this point. I'm sad to see some of the negative reviews for this dealership, but am also happy to say my experience was quite the opposite. To be honest, I've never been to a dealership where I had a more seamless and helpful car buying experience. I worked with Gina and Tony, and they were both great throughout. After going in with research and background knowledge, I test drove two cars, and the second one was exactly what I was looking for. I got a very reasonable trade-in offer on my existing vehicle, took care of my financing off-site and I was driving home in my new car the very same week. My experience was nothing but positive and I have a great new Outlander Sport with none of those typical dealership headaches you get at other places! Believe me, I've been to those too. I will say, I have had zero experience with the service at this location, so I cannot speak to that in this review. Perhaps I will update this at a later time after I service my vehicle there in the future. I haven't bought a car from here, but here's the story. Called to see if a certain used car was still available. Phone person said yes, it was still here. Drove the short distance (about 15 mins)...the car was not to be found on the lot. Finally, someone realized it had been sold a couple of days earlier. Salesman showed me another car wit similar mileage. I pointed out that it was $2000 more than the other car. They said it was the same price, because the price shown on the Internet ASSUMES a $2000 trade-in. So the prices of all cars shown on the Internet are wrong. GOOD-BYE! I was interested in a few Hyundai Santa Fe's which was ay the top of my short list with some ranges regarding price and mileage. The second we walked in I instantly got this vibe about the whole operation. I was looking at either a Santa Fe or a Subaru. Having just come from a Subaru dealership in West Warwick the feeling of dealerships were from a very professional team at the Subaru to the Courtesy Mitsubishi salesman was immediate. During test drive with salesman he mentioned how much pot he smoked and was on the phone pretty much the entire test drive. I asked if the ski racks were removable and his response was that we don't do things like that but after I purchased I could do it myself. After mentioning there was some type of feedback coming from either the front end or the AWD system. I was told that was from the tires being cold. Weird because I have never had that issue with any other car I owned. I have to say I did not buy a car from them so I can only speak about my impression of the dealership and salesman. BEWARE. This dealership is not providing accurate pricing. I went to test drive a car here after calling the dealer and making an appointment. It was not until after the test drive that the salesman told me the car's advertised pricing is 2-3k less than the actual price. They do this to get a better CarGuru price rating and to get you to go to the dealership. This is an awful and dishonest tactic. I called about a vehicle they've had in stock for over a month. The first two days I spoke with two different people who said they would inquire about what the vehicle needed. They took my name and number, never called back. The third day I called again, and was now notified of the disclaimer which you have to click on the website. The disclaimer states that in addition to several hundred dollars in processing fees, all actual prices are actually $2,000 for no real reason at all, it's just "how their advertising works." I said forget it, the employee kept me on the line to say he'd ask the sales manager if there was room to move on the price of the vehicle. Yet again I had to call back when they didnt call, only to be told that the vehicle wasn't really ready to be sold until they received and changed the parts that would clear the exhaust code due to aftermarket exhaust. I asked if the vehicle would not be sold to me if I came, as I may have actually wanted the aftermarket exhaust, but he said no it is not available at this time. Carfax says they bought it 4 months ago, and its listed for sale on numerous sites. Additionally, if you find a vehicle of theirs on CarGurus or another site, you wouldn't have the opportunity to see this ridiculous disclaimer at all. My saleswoman Gina was excellent. The used car manager not so much. Purchased a 17 Silverado upon buying it noticed the antenna was broken and about 2 weeks after that noticed everyone of my tires had significant dry rot both on the inside and outside of the tires. Took about 3 weeks to get my antenna installed and was informed their was nothing they could do about the tires even though I had purchased the wheel and tire package. The used car manager stated "if it was a deal breaker when you purchased it we would put tires on but because you bought it already there is nothing they could do". Mind you it was a 40k truck. Never again, if you do decide to attempt to purchase a vehicle make sure you go through it with a fine tooth comb. read more

It's comical to me that their name includes the word Courtesy... they would better be described with many Four letter adjectives. They reel you in with false pricing (Cars.com advertised one price, once you get to the dealer they say "oh that price is after a 2,000 down payment) it's pretty unbelievable the shamelessness they exhibit. After we drove an hour there, found out the change in price, we went home. They called us that night and asked us to come back and gave a better price ($250+ the advertised price). Buyer beware, once you sign the papers, they offer no COURTESY. They don't communicate, return calls, completely avoid following through on promises, and call you "unappreciative" for the car "they gave you". BUYER BEWARE!! BREACH OF CONTRACT. Steer clear of this untrustworthy dealership. My fiancé put a down payment on a truck a week ago, he gave them the $500 deposit at that time, then he got the loan check for the truck on Thursday, and was heading there tomorrow morning (Saturday) to pick up the truck. Today (Friday) he gets a call from one of the salesmen (he spoke with Jeff and Aaron) telling him the truck was sold to someone else. He was told when he went last week that he was the first person to see the truck and put a deposit down, now all of a sudden someone else was interested first. Basically it's assumable someone came in and offered more money and these unprofessional individuals took it. My fiancé has already bought $700 plus worth of parts for the truck, that he is now stuck with. He also sold his own truck last week, knowing he'd be in this truck Saturday, and now he is vehicle-less thanks to these no good people. It's a dirty dirty thing these guys did, and if you were smart you'd go someplace else. We are reaching out to a lawyer to file a breach of contract, the owner of this dealership and the Better Business Bureau as well. Check the reviews before you spend money anywhere. This place is dishonest. They have a routine habit of taking advantage of woman who shop for cars. My wife purchased a car here 2 years ago and we went to trade it in last week and was told that the car had been in a severe accident and had frame damage. It was listed on the car report that frame damage had been announced at the auction where they purchased the car for resale. I called the dealership to try and come to some resolution and spoke with the General Manager, Steve. He claimed that my wife had signed the disclosure statement about frame damage and "they have a copy of it with Her signature". I said why doesn't she have a copy of it in her paperwork. His response was in an aggressive tone that sound like a gangster threat, " Well why don't chu come down here and I'll give you one!" If she did sign for it she did it unknowingly. She had no idea that the can had even been in an accident so there was no legal disclosure no matter if she had supposedly signed for it or not. This guy was doubling down on dishonesty and talking to me like he was some bad ass gangster. Reviewing her paperwork I see that she had also purchased a "free" lifetime oil change contract for $1,095 as others here have stated. Another scumbag car guy sales technique. Tell them it's included with the car then roll it into the payment when they quote you. Wrong move. This dealer has had my car 21 days and refusing to fix it or buy it back. It is a lemon. Steve Silva, Tony, Kyle they are all out for one thing. Get the car off the lot and don't look back. I am surprised Mitsubishi allows them to use their name and sell their cars. They told me to have a certified Cadillac dealer tell me what was wrong with the car. Absolutely horrible customer service. Routinely bounced between service and parts dept. Ordered a part and paid for that part over a week ago and was told it would be in in a couple of days. No call. I called them to the same exact phone line (508-761-9700) that i ordered the part from a full week later. They have no record of the part being ordered or paid for. Bounced me to another dealership to be bounced between parts and svc dept yet again. Get your act together! No record of part being ordered. No help. Calling credit card company to refute charge. First it was a struggle finding parking in their cramped lot. But soon the answer became obvious as to why so many cars remain unsold...awful practices and sheer disorganization. I booked an appointment for a test drive, then rescheduled it 3 days later because of the hurricane. I go in to find that they sold that very car, and they immediately try to sell me on a stick shift (which I have never driven before).
