My experience with Golden Hour Paper has not been a good one to say the least. I emailed requesting…read moreinformation on doing a custom order on 9/4/2024. After a few exchanges to discuss color/paper/etc I placed my order on 10/14/24 and was told they would ship in 2-3 weeks. I never heard anything back and still had not received them by 11/18/24. I reached out asking for an update and was understanding when told they would be shipped before 11/28/24. I received an email on 11/26/24 with a picture of the finished product and was asked my opinion on it. I responded on the same day and asked for the product to be resized because I didn't like the dimensions. Instead of doing what I asked, the order was shipped anyway and I received them unaltered. I also noticed upon receiving them that the color was not what I asked for and it looked like the ink ran out in multiple places because it would fade to a light blue when it started out as navy blue. I didn't notice the color change in the email she sent before I received it in the mail so I didn't think to say anything about it. I received the order on 12/13/24 and immediately emailed asking about the resizing and color. I NEVER GOT A RESPONSE BACK and then sent a follow up email on 1/4/25. I finally got a response back on 1/7/25 and she offered to redo them free of charge on a smaller sheet of paper and with a more consistent ink color. I will admit, my response back was delayed because I had just had a baby and was unable to email back until 2/4/25. I agreed to having them redone and asked a lot of questions about the process in that email on 2/4/25. I GOT NO RESPONSE! I followed up again on 4/15/25. AGAIN, NO RESPONSE!! Followed up on 6/10/25 and finally got a response back on 6/11/25. In her response on 6/11/25 she stated she would get started on my order the following week which was 6/16-6/20. I responded on 6/12/25 and after a couple email exchanges we decided on the final paper color, paper size, ink, everything on 6/26/25. SHE GHOSTED ME AGAIN!!!! Didn't hear back, didn't receive my order, NOTHING!!! I emailed her yet again on 9/23/25 expressing my frustration with the entire process and she offered up my original color preferences at no charge, I assumed and I responded back within minutes that that is what I would like done. I have not heard from her since 9/23/25 and I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY ORDER!!! I'm not one to post bad reviews and I usually extend a lot of grace (which is very evident in my responses) because I know life gets crazy and there are always unforeseen valleys but this is absolutely absurd!! For the amount of money I paid for this order I never would have expected such poor quality and poor service. And for anyone interested, I have ALL the email receipts as proof of this terrible service. I would not recommend Golden Hour Paper.

It was nearly impossible to find anyone that could show you a sample of basic cream paper or paper texture or weights. They all had scraps of this and that. One guy would not even get up from his chair to help me at the desk. When I walked into Paperjam Press, a half hour from where I live. It was like I arrived. Cute store, actual samples to choose from. Highly organized. Friendly. Moderate prices. Delivered everything they said they would do. Answered the phone! Answered every email. Outstanding in every single way. I would never go anywhere else and I can say more professional than any other printer I visited in person. They even put my small order in this tidy box. This is where you need to go for the best service and total satisfaction of the finished product and outstanding customer service.

Located on a cute section of Fremont, there are only two parking spots out front with additional free street parking nearby. Though it's a small shop, visibility to the customer area in the front isn't great, so sometimes when they're busy they don't see you right away and you have to speak up. They've been quick to respond to emails, and have a decent turnaround time regularly, with the option for a ~$25 rush fee for same-day printing. Automatic notifications go out when your order is ready for pickup. Quality has been good on the color flyers and postcards I've had printed, and I'll be looking to do a few poster boards soon so I'm hopeful those will turn out great.

Great place to get gifts for kids or cute souvenirs. The store organization also just makes so much sense and transitions really well between sections. I'm all about the spacial planning. The cards selection is perfect! Pricing feels like a good mix of good value to expensive. I could have spent so much time in here if I hadn't had dinner plans already. I left with so much joy!

I would warn folks that it is very tight navigating in places-- I am petite and still felt a little claustrophobic. A lot of that is likely the crowds on sale day, but isles are narrow and there are a few places where you can get "trapped" if other customers don't see you standing behind. I absolutely love stationary, and this place scratched my letter-writing itch. I ended up picking out a couple of sets of cards + envelopes to add to my collection. These are BEAUTIFUL and well made. Prices were reasonable, and the clearance items were an absolute steal. The staff were super friendly and attentive and they seemed to be doing a good job keeping everything in order even though there were a lot of people here.

I really wanted to like this company for a variety of reasons . First , I like supporting small…read morebusinesses. Second, the price was more than fair . I collect antiques and vintage pieces and thought I found the perfect person to help me restore special finds . One positive is that the owner's man hours far exceed what she charges. I really have to give her credit for this. Unfortunately, the skills, experience, and business management here are severely lacking. I first contacted this company to fix some paint damage on a very nice Pottery Barn dining room table. She quoted about a quarter of the price quoted by licensed & bonded companies so we thought it was worth the gamble. Nearly 8 months later, our table is worthless and looks awful . The first time she brought it back it was clearly painted with different paints! The 2 pieces of the table and the 2 leaves didn't match and it was extremely obvious. She was open to fixing it, and at first that was great. Unfortunately, she was extremely unreliable. I checked texts and at least 19 (!!) times she said she was coming to work on it and just didn't show. Several other times, she was hours late or worked late at our house. When it was done, it looked ok, but the paint was not furniture grade. It peeled and regular use left marks and damage . Finally, it was clear she couldn't fix it, and she took it back. She gave a date and didn't show up . I emailed her , and she was accountable for the damage. She said she was consulting with a furniture expert who had been working on tables for 30 years and would fix it. Still, she still didn't pick the table up for another 3 weeks. She finally returned the table and there are still some problems. The leaves are a different color than the rest of the table, and the entire table no longer matches the chairs (I gave her the info on the original product ). It was clearly painted with a spray gun and just done badly. She came to our house to work on the very obvious swirly paint lines , left and hasn't contacted us or responded in 4 weeks. She completely ignores texts and emails. It's going to cost about $1600 for a professional to fix the damage. Bottom line : too good to be true price , true hard work. I wish she had been honest about her inability to complete the project from the beginning, would have saved us all trouble. She is also very unreliable and continued to destroy our table over 8 months.

Not only that but she arranged pick up and drop off for only $30. Not only were her prices phenomenal but her work was fantastic. She was even able to refinish my dresser that had particle board on the sides because she does all her work by hand. Most places take the piece apart and dip it in a harsh chemical that eats away at the varnish...but Donya gracefully and patiently sands it down by hand. This makes for a gentle and mindful restoration. I just can't say enough about the quality of her work and how reasonable her prices were. Don't even bother getting other quotes...she'll bet them hands down and her work is phenomenal. The pictures don't do the work justice...but I've attached for you to see.
