After a brief meditation the class mindlessly painted to some wonderful music and enjoy Debbie's musings. When all the paint was spent, our works of art we read not only by Debbie, but other intuitive class members. The artwork created in my class was nothing short of miraculous. I'm in awe. I found the class relaxing and exciting. Just what I needed after a hectic week. Can't wait for the next class. I've told all my friends....and now you too!

We paid for this class at Glen Ivy and she said pick any color you want and just paint whatever you want! Ummmmm that's not what we paid for. I could go to Michaels and get a canvas for $4 and do this by myself at home with all the wine I want - not just one glass at Glen Ivy. Sorry...not my favorite. Glen Ivy should specify that this is a free for all with no instruction whatsoever. At the end, she "read" our paintings which is sweet but a little oddly "mystical" for me. I didn't sign up for a psychiatry class. Anyway, she was a lovely lady, but please be aware that her style is opposite of all the painting classes out there. (Oh, and her husband or assistant came along but slept for most of the class which is hilarious because that's sort of how I felt too.) I should also mention that her class only lasted 30 minutes and she practically forced us to stop. Most painting and wine classes are about 2-3 hours. one star for the wine and one star for her kindness.

If you are looking for a fun way to celebrate the bachelorette, that is sexy & risqué yet classy. This is not a stripper experience! No sweaty man grinding on your thigh. You are admiring the male physique from afar. Your model will be full on naked, & a few girls were shy, but in the end, everyone agreed it was definitely an experience worth having Contacting The Artful Bachelorette was easy & they were always so quick to respond & answer question. The class is 2 hours long & you get a teacher, ours was Violet, & a model, ours was Franco. They bring easels, paper, charcoal pencils. Make sure you have a speaker so you can get in the mood to unleash your inner artist with their soothing playlist. Franco is so handsome & sweet! & Violet guided us through several drawing techniques. A few in the group were already known artists but some of us were shy because, like me, I am not an artist. But we were all so pleased with our artwork thanks to the encouragement & teachings of Violet! She was really flexible with my changing head count and just shared the minimum cost which was around $330. She had me choose what design I wanted to paint in advance too, which was easy! Review - I planned this for my birthday and I had such a fun time. Davina really walks you through the steps in an easy to understand way and shows you how to do each step on her own canvas. It was totally fun and doable for my friends who are not generally crafting people! The studio has great decorations and ambiance, Davina gave us glasses, glow in the dark hair clip, and a hat to take home with us. The final painting is so pretty and glows in the dark. Super recommend, especially for kids, families, friends. COVID - we didn't wear masks but you could wear masks. Davina shared she is vaxxed and boosted.

He was knowledgeable on everything from how wood is grown, cut, and made into all sorts of items. He and his colleague were very generous with their time and knowledge. His workshop has plenty of stock and more than enough tools for the student. We came home with nice-looking, useable boards and gained a better appreciation of what goes into these hand-crafted works of art. If you're curious about woodworking and would like to get some great hands on experience I'd recommend taking one of his classes!

He's in the Rosemary Room, and his teachers, Bree and April have been absolutely incredible--so patient, loving, and supportive as he adjusted to this new environment. His old teachers were such a blessing as well. Since he's only 2.5, it's hard being away from him for so long but it's great knowing he is in the best hands. It's coming up on a year soon since he's been there and I know he will be here for the long run. It took him a little while to warm up, but now he talks about his friends and teachers all the time, and I can see just how much he enjoys being there. I'm excited for everything else he will learn and explore. The Montessori and Reggio Emilia approach here is truly special, fostering independence, confidence, and a love for learning in such a kinesthetic and nurturing way. The classrooms are beautifully designed to encourage hands-on exploration, and the teachers take the time to understand and support each child individually. Seeing my son thrive under their care has given me so much peace of mind. He comes home and teaches me something new he has learned every day. He has been all smiles, his manners and practical life skills like cleaning up after himself around the house has been such a plus too. He enjoys it. There's also a hot lunches you can pay for that is filled with nutrition and they have pizza Fridays! How fun! One of the best parts is that he's now in the Wild Olympian sports program and music class soon, which has been amazing for his development and energy. He's having a blast learning to play and share with his classmates and I love that he's getting to build his strength, muscle memory and coordination in such an engaging way. The back yard areas are built for the most amazing outdoor imaginative play. They use mostly wood and natural materials and not a bunch of plastic wear. This makes me so happy. If you're looking for a different kind of Montessori school where your child will feel safe, supported, and truly thrive in his or her own element, I can't recommend WR enough. It's a wonderful community, and we feel so lucky to be part of it!
