I have the food when I bring my granddaughter to her volleyball club there, and I have always enjoyed it. And the people who work there too!

They were on the small side but very tasty. Next we shared the crispy Brussel sprouts which had been recommended to me by 3 people and they were outstanding! I opted for a single crab cake as I wasn't that hungry and it was so yummy. He had the everything bagel pan seared tuna bowl. It sat on top of amazing kind of Asian noodles of which I tasted and they too were delish. So here's the not so nice part.. the place was SO NOISY I could not really enjoy my meal. I will have to wait and try to find a quieter time to go.. that may beca while as the summer crowd is just coming into town! I would have given it 5 stars!!

They were undercooked and pale with no char. Sent back and received them exactly the same. They just zapped them in the microwave. Waitress didn't care. The accompanying corn with bacon was unpalatable due to extreme over-salting. Again, no one cared that the food wasn't right. *Water glasses were never refilled, we had to ask before we left the table. Very hot night. *No one minding the comfort of guests. They never close the shades with sun glaring in people's faces. *Just a general lack of caring all around. Will not be going back. Why would we?

The Fermentary carries other local breweries' beer - Widowmaker, Vitamin Sea, Stellwagen, etc. They also carry all natural wines and have some snacks to munch on (the pretzel and queso are really good!). They made some nice upgrades. It seems brighter and maybe more seating. Only "negatives" we've seen are that they are very heavy on IPAs (mostly double and triples, the couple times we've been), which isn't too bad for us, because we really only drink IPAs, but if you're looking for a lager or an ale, your options might be limited. Also, they don't have cable, so if it's a local game you're trying to catch, you'll be out of luck. Notice they've had some events held there - seems like it would be a great spot for that (nice open space with fireplace and tv). This will definitely be our go-to for a laid back afternoon/early evening, quick drink or two. Definitely check it out!

I had the blackened shrimp wrap which was out of this world.. the seasoning on the shrimp was so tasty and the best part is that it was full right to the bottom of the wrap as opposed to other places I've had wraps. The fries were nice, hot and crunchy when served and very tasty. He had the steak bomb that was just as good. They use sweet yellow peppers instead of green which made the sandwich even better.. we sat at the bar with Rich the bartender who was very nice to chat with and on his game. All in all I have to say it was a perfect lunch and will definitely be back. Thank you to the entire staff for a job well done!

The vibe was lively and inviting. Finally got to try the composed oyster--I enjoyed ONE and that was enough. About 25 tables, but not tightly packed. Felt like an Italian restaurant where you might just share with the table nearest you. I could order nearly anything on the menu. Awesome and terrible with a time crunch! We started with the focaccia bread, which was delicious. We saved some and I'm eating it now. Then it was Splitsville: I mean we split a salad, bolognese and chicken parm. Garden/House Salad was described as fresh, what the kitchen could get, flavorful and colorful. It was all those things and didn't disappoint. Chicken parm was not fried. Was Bell & Evans chicken breast not beat to hell. Was plump, juicy and flavorful. Maybe the best I've ever had. Bolognese was equally good. I'm glad we split everything so we could each try a number of different options. We were out on time and never felt rushed if you can believe it. Excellent service and pacing to go with the excellent food.
