Overwhelmed at this place! It is a local place for sure. Staff was excellent from the hostess to the manager. Our server JoJo if I could give her a 10 star review she deserves it. Her attention to our meal was extraordinary. She was very attentive without being overly imposing. To quote her she said "I have honed my craft" which she has. From making a custom icetea drink which is not on the menu. Her suggestions were right on the money our food was cooked to perfection and came out at a pace which never felt rushed. The dining room was busy with World Cup game on along with many other sporting program. The price is very reasonable. Decent food. Buffalo chicken tenders and the sandwiches are always good and very inexpensive. Decent tap list and probably the least expensive pour of Guinness in the area. But FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!! Please fix your dishwasher. I shouldn't feel/see bits of food or something on the outside of your glassware. Often something on the bottom of the plates too. Not looking for it but couldn't miss it when you pick up a plate to move it. Kind of scary to think about what's actually under the food on the plate. I see negative comments about the service. I think the bartenders are usually pretty attentive and nice. Can't speak to table service. Honestly wouldn't care that much about either if they could put the food and drink in/on something clean. This is an observation over several visits. Two stars might be a little generous but there is so much potential for this dinosaur to still be good. read more

I have been here in the past and felt it was good, that is why we chose to go back but unfortunately we wished we had not. First in the parking lot walking in there was a doggie bag of food left on the pavement in the parking lot- that should have been our first clue not to eat there but we chose to try it out anyway. I had the steak tips and they were the worst steak tips I have ever had at a restaurant. I did bring them home to see if maybe the next day when I heated them up they would be better less chewy but they were not so my labradoodle received a good snack. Stopped for lunch with friends. Our server (Deb), who looked remarkably like Julia Roberts, was awesome. She answered questions and made suggestions. Two of us had the chicken enchiladas and the other had the daily flatbread special (chicken pesto). The enchiladas were delicious and enough for two meals. The flatbread was reportedly excellent. Home away from home. Between this location and the Quincy location, I feel like I grew up here. My friends and I have been coming here for the past 15+ years since we were teenagers. We've celebrated birthdays here, major sports events, etc. Consistency is strong here! The meals have been the same across both locations for years. The buffalo chicken is legendary. Doesn't matter if you get the buffalo chicken nachos or the buffalo chicken sandwich, the buffalo chicken is crispy/crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside and flavorful all around. I love that they serve baked beans & a pickle with all of their sandwiches. I usually substitute fries with a garden salad as there's something about their side salads that I can't get enough of! She was very nice a majority of the time but once it came to 10:00 we had our bill waiting and ready with our card standing upwards on the table for maybe 10/15 minutes. What a fall from Grace the Four's is. I attempted to book a section of the bar for an event for 20 people for a Friday late afternoon. Even with a months notice, you refused to accommodate. I was fully expecting to dish out $1,000 + for this event. Hey, Fours, that's fine, it's your right not to accept the event and lose out in about $1,500 to $2,000 after food, liquor, and any rental fees, but's it's also my right to take my business elsewhere and not recommend your restaurant to eat at to anyone going forward, which I will be doing every chance I get. The Fours has a pretty slick setup for takeaway - no website ordering or anything, but the house is bare (save the host/sole FOH employee), and equipped for rapid grab & go. And while some of their items are hit or miss, our recent takeout order of dem jam packed potato skins, and a steak arugula salad were spot-on scrumptious. Wife got an entire tray of melty mac and cheese caked with a thick top layer of chopped, crispy bacon. A veritable feast. I stopped by here while down in the Norwell area during the day. Plenty of seats at the bar, as one would expect at 2pm, lol. The bartender was super friendly and attentive. I ordered the Buffalo wings and quesadilla. The wings were about what you would expect, meaty and sauced well. The quesadilla was great, a solid 5. I had a 2 captain and cokes, I prefer them in lint glasses but these were a good pour. The sports theme around the restaurant was done in great taste. I ordered a chicken parm, never in my life have I had a chicken parm where the chicken is undercooked and the pasta is over cooked it was so bad. The breading on the chicken was also not even crispy it was somehow chewy which was a gross texture. The sauce was as if they poured a pound of sugar in it too I didn't think you could mess up a chicken parm until I tried it from here. The pasta was baby food consistency with how overcooked it was too. Also for a sports bar I really thought the music choice would be more classic rock or something along those lines but they've been playing nonstop obnoxious pop songs. Our waitress was very sweet and helpful! However, i ate a bite of my fish tacos and realized I was chewing on a piece of sharp plastic. The kitchen said it was a fish scale....still unsure of that but nonetheless still unsanitary and uncomfortable. I've been to the Quincy and Norwell locations many times over the years with good service and food. Showed up at 5:00pm on a Wednesday night (4/12/23), was sat right away. As soon as I sat, I received an important call so I took it. The call lasted exactly from 5:03pm-5:09pm. I understand why a server would not come to the table while a guests is on their phone but after waiting until 5:26pm, while watching other guests get seated and served drinks, we decided it was time to go. We find the service is always pretty good there. The waitresses and waiters have a LOT of walking and usually have several tables to wait on yet their service is always very good and very attentive. We also love the food. It's hard to find a Pastrami sandwich or a Corned Beef sandwich anywhere else. We also like their Four's steak. Their fries are good. The only complaint I had was the Corned beef sandwich (Ray Bourque sandwich or Reuben) generally came out with the lower bread soggy. I mentioned it to the waitress and she put a napkin under it so it came out PERFECT. I am puzzled by the mixed reviews. We have never had a bad meal there. We also LOVE THEIR BAR SEATING. Went to dinner here with my parents last night. Place is really big. Parkings easy. Huge bar area with high tops and lots of TV's. There's also outside eating area that has about 10 tables. Dining room is pretty big with lots of TV's and sports memorabilia on the walls. We were seated quickly and the waitress we had, Bridgette, was very friendly and quick to come with drinks, rolls and our food. My father and I got soup for an app. It was a chicken taco kind of mixture. I wish I remembered the name of the soup but it was just their house soup. I was SOUPER impressed with it. Absolutely delicious. Im ordering this again next time I go! I ordered the steak tips, medium and it came with mixed veggies and I choose onion rings as the side. Steak tips were phenomenal!! Cooked perfectly like I ordered. Juicy melt in your mouth deliciousness!! Mixed veggies were mostly great. Everything cooked good except the carrots. Not sure these were even cooked rather than just warmed. I left them on my plate. Also, very disappointed in the onion rings. Why why why do places serve frozen onion rings when it's 500 times better to make your own! What a letdown. Wish I got the fries instead. Saw them on another tables plate and they looked good. My father got the chicken Parmesan and he said it was really good. Not the best he's ever had but not the worst. He mentioned the chicken could of been breaded a little less but the portion size was huge and the sauce was tasty. My mother loved her salad. The rolls we got were excellent. Excellent food and a fabulous waitress. My friend and I went there Sunday 11/5/23 for lunch. My friend got the Larry Bird and she loved it. I got the Cobb salad with chicken and it was excellent. Our waitress was one of the best I've ever had. She was friendly, funny and so easy to talk to. She had plenty of suggestions and she knew the menu. We both split the apple pie and ice cream which was mouth watering. We'll be going back there for sure!!! Great experience. read more
