Stopped in for lunch while out running errands. My husband ordered The Wibur, a pulled pork sandwich, and he had to send it back (which he NEVER does). He took a bite and knew something was off, took a second bite and decided it was not edible. He said it tasted leftover/ old. I had ordered the Fin-Wich, which was very good. The waitress happily replaced his sandwich with the same as mine. She mentioned she'd have the manager come over, but he never did.

I've been meaning to try this spot and it was pretty good! Service was great, and it was a nice big open pub. I'm a local so I remember this location as a lot of different things but most recently Planet Fitness, and I'm hoping this is its final contestant because it's the best one yet. I went with my boyfriend on a Friday night and there was a live band playing and free cover! They actually advocate this for Fridays and have other specials for different days of the week. There was no wait, and we got seated in a booth. The bar though in the center was pretty full. Our server was super friendly and helpful with all our questions. The Butterfinger Espressotini was super tasty, I didn't expect it to be so good. The nachos were really fresh too, but short on toppings. Fried pickles were not the best though. They lacked crispness unfortunately and we would have been better without them. Didn't even care for the dipping sauce that came with it. The Crispy Chicken though was to die for. Super flavorful and the fries weren't greasy at all. That was definitely the best plate.

    Pretty good Pub food.

Had a small reunion there last Sunday. Nice place. They were able to easily accommodate 10 of us. Nice atmosphere, good food and drinks. Waitstaff did a good job.

Food is good. Atmosphere is as well. Paying Boston prices for that location? Not so cool. Wayyyyyyyyy overpriced.

We first wandered in on a cold, rainy afternoon and were immediately charmed by the cozy atmosphere. The service was warm and welcoming, and everywhere we looked, steaming plates of comfort food were making their way to happy diners. The cod Reuben with sweet potato fries was outstanding, and the clam chowder was exceptional. In fact, after trying chowder at six different places during our trip, my husband and I both agreed this was our favorite by far. The shepherd's pie looked incredible as it passed our table, but we'll have to save that for next time. The only real downside is the limited parking, but it's a small trade-off for such a wonderful spot. If you're in the area, don't miss this hidden gem!

It has that cozy hometown pub feel: sports on, music playing, and a great local vibe. The staff treats you like you've been coming in for years, making you feel like a regular right away -- and that's definitely a good thing. Homemade comfort food that hits on every level, a delicious menu from top to bottom, and a drink menu that complements it perfectly. And by the way... the Guinness pours well!

I knew I should have left when it took like twenty minutes to notice us before offering us a drink. So I gave it a chance;Big mistake! I watched as the young female bartender just ignored us while she served the locals that frequent the bar. I must have misread the menu because it was obviously friend's and family appreciation day at Tavern on the Wharf and not dollar oyster day. Good thing she left the bill in the glass so I could pay for my one premixed cocktail and go after several failed attempts to get her attention. Too bad this whole situation cost me almost an hour I'll never get back! But the silver lining here is I'll never go back! See ya around, Wasting time in Plymouth.

We started with the seafood trio appetizer -- stuffed mushrooms, scallops, and a crab cake -- all delicious. We also ordered the wedge salad, which was crisp, generously dressed, and one of the standout starters of the night. For entrées, the pork chop was extremely flavorful, the baked scrod was a hit, and the jambalaya was excellent and plated creatively in a ring around the rice rather than the usual stew-style presentation. Service was outstanding; our waitress was friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. We finished with the chocolate Kahlua bread pudding, which was absolutely mouthwatering. The only downside is the noise level -- the restaurant is shockingly loud throughout, to the point where you have to raise your voice to hear each other. Overall, great food, great service, and a fantastic wedge salad -- just be prepared for a very loud dining and bar area.

The hostess said she needed to talk to the manager which she did, and she put in the pizza that I originally ordered telling me it would take 8 minutes. It took 15 and meanwhile the other pizzas are just drying out on top of the oven. I get it, and mistakes happen. My problem is that the manager did not come over and apologize or do anything to try to make it right. Maybe a free pizza or a gift card? Heck, they didn't even offer me the pizza they got wrong. The other 2 people didn't finish or enjoy their pizza. They said it was too dry. Come on, if you mess up, at least do SOMETHING to indicate to the customer that you care.
