I originally booked Holiday Inn Hudson with my free points. They ended up canceling my reservation and I'm glad they did. It looked like a bustop with a lot of loiterers hanging around. I ended up booking a week here with all my free points and it was night and day. Very spread out with a ton of parking. Check in was a breeze. The entire place looks brand new, I was told they had a recent remodel. My room was very nice with a view of the back parking lot which I like. I can keep an eye out on my car They also have a nice gym and a heated pool which I used everyday for a nice workout. The rooms were very quiet and I love that you can adjust the AC to have a constant fan for sleeping. The beds were very comfortable, I do miss having a tub but many hotels are switching to switching to showers only. I opted for no housekeeping but they always gave me extra items when asked. The room and hotel had a nice clean smell to it as well. I did like the early morning free coffee that was offered. My favorite was the Bistro, I was there nearly every night. The bartenders Mike, Colleen and Diane were the best! Great convos and really great drinks and food. I wrote a separate review under their Bistro Yelp. I also like they have a 24 Quick Market for medicines, snacks Ice cream etc... I will be back soon for another stay!

The room was clean, spacious. The bathroom shower the ceiling looked a bit like it was sagging down which wasn't great. My biggest concern and reason for a three star rating was the door. The gap there is the door fully closed and both locks utilized and there was that large of a gap, which didn't make me feel entirely safe. The room was pretty pricey for the experience in my opinion. And normal sounds for a hotel were extremely loud in my opinion from my room. Usually you can't hear what's going on upstairs or in the hall. Certainly room for improvement.

This is the worst hotel and I don't know where to begin. Lobby is a disaster zone - totally gutted out due to renovation. 1 working elevator that takes forever to bring up or down. And full of debris. The worst!

Nothing unusual here - standard Courtyard. This is a good thing because the lure of name brands - rather than just customer loyalty points - is you have a good idea you'll get what you expect. The ice machine was broken on my floor and it took awhile to get someone in the cafe to get me some ice, but it was an odd time of day. I didn't get the USA Today in front of my door in the AM but (1) perhaps that is just a Renaissance or Marriott thing and (2) there were plenty in the lobby. The location is good. There's a few restaurants and spots to check out quite close, and the rooms were quiet. It was sold out the night I was there so to not here the room next store you or folks in the hall is always a perk. I would absolutely stay here again.

    Ample space! Bed is comfy.

We booked our hotel on the Expedia website. The hotel images were presented well and organized accordingly. The hotel offers in room dining, free parking, coffee in the morning, a pool, and a gym . The gym is something important to my life and its twenty four hours. They have a pool if you need to have a lap to make your life easier and more comfortable. The check in was simple and easy. The area is so beautiful. We are here all the way from Vegas . You could drop a pin outside and hear it bounce . The staff were very helpful. As we were in town many types of people came and went; this is important because whatever your need the "Hilton," brand is something that you can count on . They are dog friendly and offer great areas to keep the dog occupied for their walk . Now that we have our room key and we are all checked in let's go and check it out . The room is pretty standard for hotels across the Hilton spectrum. The bathroom is clean and all stocked with fresh towels . The beds all made and everything is in its place . It's easy to control the television. We have tons of outlets to plug in our devices . There is a place to make the essence of life, coffee of course. All is in order let's unpack . We have to close this and start the process of the evening to get ready for the next day. Time to go exploring and use the gym, run that bath, and get all cozy. Mr. Sandman here I come zz

There were several noticeable stains around the room, including on the rugs, curtains, and even some of the towels. There were also visible blemishes on the walls, ceilings, and furniture. I don't expect perfection, but at the nightly rate I would at least expect stronger attention to cleanliness. The bed initially seemed stiff and lower quality, but I ended up waking with no back pain, which was a pleasant surprise. A plus was the complimentary breakfast. They offered the typical options like fruit, cereal, muffins, bagels, breads, and spreads, along with hot items such as pancakes, sausage, and eggs. Some other amenities include an indoor pool and gym, and an onsite restaurant/bar. We did not have time to utilize any of these but it's nice to have the option. Overall, the experience wasn't strong enough to make me prefer this hotel brand over others, but it was a decent stay.

We offered to pay the woman who checked us in cash at our arrival for the room and she indicated that we couldn't pay cash until checkout and needed to provide a credit card on file but that at checkout all charges would be reversed so we could pay cash as we wished to do. She told us that the total with ALL taxes and fees at checkout for our room would be $185. Flash forward to check out time and we go to front desk and speak with man on duty with cash in hand to pay for the room. He proceeds to inform us that the total for the room was $225 and not the agreed upon $185 as indicated at checkout. He said the room was $200/night (we were told it was $165 at check in, remember!) and the total was $225 with taxes & fees. We repeatedly attempted to explain to the man that the staffer who checked us in provided us with an entirely different quote for the room and he rudely declined to assist us in any way and just said "Well you can try to call on Monday when there is a manager here but I don't know what that will do...". We needed to get on the road to our event so couldn't continue to beat a dead horse with a person who didn't care and wouldn't listen. As soon as we got into the car we immediately called the credit card company to dispute the charges and at that time the credit card company informed us that there had been about 4 charges made and reversed by Hampton/Hilton on our card and none of the charges at ALL matched with amount the front desk staff provided at check-in! There was one charge that seemed to be close to the $185 as discussed but even that was off (it was $192) there was also a charge of $39.95 that was charged and reversed several times to the card that we NEVER authorized so not sure what was going on there! Even the credit card company said that the charges seemed "concerning"! I'm not sure what's going on with the staff/management at this hotel but one thing I am absolutely positive on is that my family and I fell prey to a bait and switch courtesy of Hampton Inn of Marlborough, MA and I'm not pleased! If you said the room was $165/night for (2) full beds, I am going to expect to pay $165/night...not $200/night! I mean, if we wanted to spent $200/night...we would have stayed at a better star rated hotel with better amenities or at least caring and competent staffers who didn't ignore or concerns and had us leave the hotel feeling cheated and lied to! Looking forward to speaking with the manager on Monday to hopefully get this sorted out but I wanted to let any would be guests traveling through the area know that they may be lied to and overcharged!

We checked in last Thursday only to deal with tons of hockey teams staying at this location. I have stayed at other hotels when these sort of things have happened before, but this was on a whole Nother level. I've never seen staff members just care so little about protecting their own property when kids are literally running a muck all over the place with hockey sticks in their bathing suits trashing rooms. The coach and the chaperones were drunk almost every day. We were there hanging out in the lobby and letting the kids do whatever they wanted. Any other hotel I have stayed at would've never allowed that. When we tried to go to sleep, kids were constantly running up and down hallways, shouting, screaming, and nobody was doing anything about it. We told the man at the front desk about what was going on, but he did not seem to care. The room itself was fine and big enough for my family. That's the only positive thing I can say about this. Maybe the staff act better and differently when they don't have all of these teams running around but truthfully because they just did not care about what was going on. I don't think I will return here. I'd rather stay at a hotel that has a strict. No noise policy passed a certain time of night and pay a little bit extra if that is insured.

On the first night, my room smelled strongly like someone was cooking onions. On the second night, it smelled like someone was smoking marijuana. Neither is something I expect to deal with while staying in a hotel. The fitness room is extremely small, about the size of a shoebox. There were no towels available, and the treadmill was so incredibly loud I could barely use it without getting a headache from the noise. If having a decent workout facility is important during your stay, this one is very disappointing. There were also maintenance issues inside the room. A kitchen cabinet was literally falling off its hinges. The sheets were extremely scratchy and uncomfortable, and the television in the bedroom was about the size of a computer monitor. The internet connection was also incredibly weak. The worst part of my stay, however, was the noise from the room above me and the way the situation was handled by the front desk. The guests above were extremely loud during the middle of the night. It sounded as if they were jumping up and down and moving furniture. The noise continued around 2:00 a.m. and again into the early morning hours on the second night. I made six separate phone calls to the front desk, and each time I spent more than 10 minutes repeatedly calling before anyone would answer. By approximately 3:00 a.m., I was pleading with the front desk to please do something so I could get some sleep. During one of those calls, the front desk employee was incredibly rude and told me she could not call another guest. This was especially confusing because, during earlier calls, I had been told the situation had been taken care of. When I questioned this contradiction, she backtracked and asked how I knew she had not called them. I simply repeated what she had just told me: she said she could not call another guest. Eventually, she did contact the room. I was then told the guests said they were moving things around because they were preparing to give their cat a bath at 3:00 in the morning. I honestly could not believe what I was hearing. Regardless of the reason, guests should not be moving furniture, jumping around, or creating excessive noise above another guest's room at 2:00 or 3:00 a.m. For all of the negatives, I will give credit where it is due: the room was clean. Unfortunately, cleanliness alone is not enough to make up for the odors, poor fitness facility, maintenance problems, uncomfortable bedding, weak internet, excessive overnight noise, and frustrating response from the front desk. I would never stay here again. If your only priority is having a clean room and you are willing to overlook everything else I experienced, this hotel may work for you. For me, there were simply far too many problems to recommend it.
