Great little spot for snacks. Very helpful and friendly staff. The food is fresh and not precooked.

Great little spot to rest my head for the night. The room was comfy. Pool was open late. And they have a nice little bar area downstairs. Good amount of parking for everybody. And everything you need as far as food is nearby. It's about a 20 minute drive to the beach.

Bug Bites from the bed

I'm a longtime Marriott Bonvoy Member, and this Courtyard Marriott on Butler Boulevard in Jacksonville is, without question, the worst Marriott property I've ever stayed in. I booked through Booking.com for three nights (Sept 12-15) but left after one. Room 423 was disgusting -- filthy floors, stains, and bugs. After waking up with bug bites that required a trip to urgent care, I notified the front desk. They moved me to another room, but it was no better -- dirty, unkempt, and downright unsanitary. Meanwhile, the lobby was full of people who appeared to be on drugs, arguing and trying to check in while staff ignored it. Down the hallway near the ice machine, a pipe was leaking steadily, adding to the sense that this property has fallen into complete neglect. The worst part? The hotel refused to issue a refund, even for the nights I didn't stay. The general manager never followed up. Marriott Corporate offered me "points" as if that makes up for medical bills and an infested room. If this is what the Marriott brand stands for now, I'm genuinely disappointed. Bonvoy Members -- and any traveler -- deserve better. Do not stay here. This place is filthy, unsafe, and management simply doesn't care.

3/4/24 One night stay. Hotel is close to I-95 with a lot of restaurants around. Front desk staff were very friendly and had my reservation ready upon my arrival. The bistro bartender was super outgoing and mixed a decent Old Fashioned that I enjoyed. Two double beds with plenty of space. Work desk if you are on business. The HVAC worked great (a must in FL) and the shower water temp was very hot (another plus for me). Room 513 was clean and bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed my stay and will visit again when in Jacksonville for business.

Our room could use a major update. Looks like it's been this way since the mid 90s. Bathroom is really in need of a good cleanup. The gym equipment is pretty sad, two threadmills neither working very well at all and one elliptical machine. It was nice to have cold filter water in there, bonus after a good workout. Staff that we engaged with were super friendly. My son had breakfast and it was very good according to him, I had a Starbucks coffee,. It was made just the way I like it. The dining area was clean as was the lounge area.

Greeted with great service. Very clean and modern. There is also a gym, pool, and spa. You can also grab a meal, snacks, cocktails, and starbucks in the lobby.

Here for a business trip and this hotel is the overall better option of the four properties that surround it. The lobby is beautiful and clean and the staff is very friendly. Morning breakfast lines are long even on weekdays so you have to plan accordingly if you would like to grab a bite here. Food is good, all dinner items are prepared in a microwave/convection oven but still cost 10-13$. The room was nice, could use an update as it was very dark, no light above the shower so it was darker in the shower. My bed was comfortable and I slept well. I would stay here again overall. Thankful for the staffs kindness and courtesy.

A lot could improve! I stayed here over the past weekend in a balcony Riverfront suite. Initially…read morethe room was barely clean and I had to submit a request to reclean. The reviews list it as a 4star hotel. It is really giving 2 star motel. The room was very antiquated. The 1970s arm chair was stained and filthy. It looked like a thrift store purchase. The carpet could stand to be shampooed or replaced. The room was not equipped with a microwave or mini fridge. They had vending machines on each floor that contain nothing but sold out pop and and an ice machine. In the lobby was a snack area where a bag of small size doritos were 6.00. I had no hot water my entire stay. It was very noisy. All night long you could hear the heavy old fashion doors slam. The heater in my room smelled like a hair blow dryer that was about to give out. It was also very loud and took a long time to heat the space. Parking is also a little expensive $30 a day to self park. Considering it is attached to the hotel you would think this would be complimentary to your stay. Staff was very pleasant. The lobby decor was ok and the view was nice. Those are the only compliments I can give. I enjoy The Hilton portfolio but would NEVER stay at this location again. I just expected more from a 4-star hotel. P.s. I am waiting to see if I actually receive a 3 day voucher from corporate in the mail as they promised.

The ice machines on my floor and the one above were dilapidated. I had to go all the way to the lobby to beg for some ice to which they were so nice and got some for me. The bathrooms were in need of some TLC, the shower doors were cheaply replaced with bars within the shower door frames. The hallways and elevator had the worst scents and the thermostat never worked properly. I had to request extra comforters to sleep through the night of the thin walls and hearing the people next door having sex. I really feel bad for the staff working here because honestly they were all very sweet and attentive. Whatever requests I had, the quickly obliged. I was even given a room by the water to watch the nice yacht. Thanks to Anne especially, she is a gem.

The Inn is located in a nice area of Riverside and is close to restaurants and museums, as well as the water. Our room was on the second floor and was a nice size room with a tv, coffee maker, mini fridge and a beautiful bed. The Inn also has a bar on the first floor, as well as a good size dining room for daily breakfast. The menu offered about 5 or 6 options. We both went with the vegetable cheese omelettes and they were the best omelettes we have ever had. There was also a cute little outdoor patio adjacent to the second floor common area. It was a delightful stay.

Reservations were easy to make online, we were welcomed quickly upon arrival and giving a spacious room with all the amenities you could need - coffee maker, mini fridge, and more TV channels than you can imagine. While the bathroom was small, the shower pressure was great! Well we didn't have time to enjoy their honor bar, they do have plenty of different places to congregate or lounge on the first floor. This is a renovated classic structure, offering a great combination of old school charm with modern necessities. In the morning, we had a wonderful breakfast served with a smile. There's plenty of parking, and they even have electric vehicle chargers in the parking lot. I did take a very short walk to the waterfront. Overall, great rooms, friendly people, and the traditional bed and breakfast experience.

My family and I just stayed here and it was a great experience over all…read more The establishment is super clean, the staff super polite and friendly, pleasant furniture and decor, nothing smelled weird which was great. Every morning we came down for the complimentary breakfast and I must say, they have a good variety of breakfast options. Most importantly, the staff were friendly which is rare when it comes to complimentary breakfast attendants. I noticed an excellent detail by the elevators on our hallway, the hotel provided a trash can, a recycling bin for paper, a bin for can recycling, but they did not provide a can to recycle plastic. That would be great to have. The surface light bulb in the kitchen was out. One of the pots was clean but with dirty dry stains of food on it. We filled out a list for the grocery services and after 6 or 8 hours, the front desk told us they weren't going to be able to get groceries for us. It's ok. There were many places near by to get food and groceries. Overall, we felt good and most importantly friendly staff and clean. We will definitely recommend this place. Thank you Homewood Suites. Ask for additional towels since the room only had two the front desk acted totally Inconvenience and told us to come back later because housekeeping was currently preparing rooms. Additionally , we asked for 1 room to have a light checkout Ambush was told to call the next morning after 7 a m , which totally defeats the purpose. At 300 plus dollars a night I expect customer service to be top-notch.The rooms to be pristine. My other family members are staying at the extended Stay hotel For a lot less, and it is Immaculate and superb Rethink our decision about staying here
