This is one of my favorite Marriott locations. We stopped in since they allow dogs (for a cleanup fee). We wanted to visit the outlets but we didn't want to leave the dog home. The staff provided our pet with snacks. The room we had was on the ground level with a door to the outside which made walking the dog easy. I was bit afraid to rent a pet friendly room would smell like dog but not a hint. They do an amazing job keeping the room fresh. I'll be back!

Stayed here a couple of nights for a little R&R. It is in a super location if you want to see the Lancaster area. It's a short drive to all the major attractions. It also has easy access to the interstate highways. It has plenty of free parking. Daniel at the front desk was very helpful in selecting places to eat and things to see. He also was great at checking in, I arrived at the hotel at 8AM and he got me a room . This hotel was converted to100% solar. It has a small fitness center, but has a nice indoor pool and jacuzzi. The room has a nice refrigerator and microwave. The biggest complaint I have is with the in room coffee. The machine is outdated and makes horrible Coffee . On top of that , they only provide dark roast. The other issue is the powered creamers, and the lack of a tea option in your room. All said, if I come back to the area, I would stay here and hope by then they upgrade their coffee machine.

The Courtyard is among Marriott's top brand of hotels. The location in Lancaster has a lot of space in the lobby area and ample outdoors seating. Although I wasn't a registered guest on this visit my family did hang out here with our AAU basketball family (we stayed in an Airbnb nearby), and the hospitality staff made us feel just as welcome.

McDonald's breakfast delivered with DoorDash cheaper than the hotel breakfast that I'm sure isn't as good

Check in was a breeze , nice rooms but the breakfast that is advertised is not included and ridiculously priced. An orange juice is $4 Bacon egg and cheese $7 Even cheap hotels give breakfast with the stay and it doesn't cost . I've never stayed at a place where you have to pay additional money for breakfast. Absolutely ridiculous. It was cheaper for me to DoorDash food from McDonald's than it was to walk downstairs and get some bland overpriced breakfast.

One star for no hot showers. Only luke-warm water in the shower (everyday). Bedding was also sub-par and the manager seemed like she hadn't been through hospitality training. Bistro staff and kitchen was good, but sorry, no hot showers and cold bedding is a star kill.

We stayed here as we were in town for a wedding. After we arrived back from the reception, we decided to grab a drink and a bite to eat. The bartender had stepped away for about 10 minutes right before we arrived at about 8 PM. Keisha (sp?) at the front desk was gracious enough to help us out. Her attitude and personality were wonderful. She was friendly and kept checking to make sure we were ok. She also made us buffalo wings. So pleasant to engage with. She turned our night cap experience into a great way to meet people. The Room was clean and spacious. Great first impression. Would definitely recommend.

I'm all new to the Marriott/spg hotel thing.. Recently stayed hear a night.. To enjoy everything that's in Lancaster.. I was impressed with how nice the staff was.... From the time I walked in to the time I checked out. I can't say enough.. Other then thank you... For making me feel welcomed... I look forward to staying at this location again... The rooms are so Roomy type. And the beds so comfortable... The pool and spa was nice. And the lounge was so relaxing. With alittle bar.... a snack bar. And dining area for breakfast, lunch and Dinner. It's 100% solar-powered..

One of my favorite touches was the enclosed walkway between the parking garage and the hotel, where historic photographs line the walls, telling the story of the grand department store that once occupied the building before it was transformed into the Marriott you see today. It's a neat little glimpse into Lancaster's past. The parking garage is just around the corner and connects directly to the hotel via the skywalk. That said, I'd recommend pulling into the front entrance first to check in and unload your luggage before parking--it'll save you from hauling bags through the garage. We booked a corner room, and I think it's easily the best value in the hotel. The extra windows offer great views of downtown from two sides, making the room feel much more open and bright. The indoor pool is modest but perfect for a refreshing dip after a day of exploring. There's also a well-equipped fitness center and spa for anyone looking to unwind or keep up with their workout routine. Don't miss the rooftop restaurant and bar. It's well worth stopping in for the views alone, whether you're grabbing dinner or just enjoying a drink. One thing to know, though: at the time of writing, access is from the exterior entrance rather than directly through the hotel. Overall, if you're planning a visit to Lancaster or exploring Amish Country, this is an excellent place to stay. Comfortable, convenient, reasonably priced, and full of character, it's hard to beat as a home base for your trip.

Want to offer a counterbalance to some recent reviews that took place over 4th of July…read more.. We stayed here for 2 nights. Room was spacious and comfortable - 4/5 Housekeeping was excellent. Baby made a mess 1st night and they handled professionally and friendly -5/5 Pools and kids splash zone were excellent. Only complaint is that they were packed like sardines. Also kids splash zone had a lot of adults with 0 sense on how to act. They went into pools wearing outside clothes and shoes, and some were using kids splash pad as a shower. Not so much Eden issue as id*otic guests - 4/5 Now here is where story gets interesting. Storms knocked out the power on 4th of July to all of Lancaster. Hotel had no power, pools closed, fridges defrosting, no phone charging. Did it suck - yes. Is it fault of Eden - no. All of Lancaster had no power and downed trees. We slept 2nd night in pitch dark with no AC and it was just fine. Hotel refunded 2nd night promptly so ended up paying just for 1st night. Can't seriously blame the resort for power outage caused by storms

PART 1 My family…read morewas on vacation at the Eden Resort in Lancaster, PA to celebrate our daughter's 10th birthday. Our stay was cut short just one day after arriving. My 2 daughters enjoyed the pool multiple times from Thursday afternoon until Friday evening with no issues and no concerns. Friday evening 02/06/2026 around 5:35pm while my daughters were swimming with their father. ( I was in the hotel room which is accessed from the pool area) Their father and multiple other guests witnessed the assistant night manager take a photo in the pool area in the direction of my 11 year old daughter. The assistant night manager then left the pool area within seconds of doing so. My children's father called me immediately to come watch over the kids while he went to confront the assistant night manager or to speak to someone if he couldn't find him. I checked my kids, walked to their father and 2 other guests that were speaking about the incident. Stating they without a doubt saw the assistant night manager take a photo with my daughter in it. At this point the assistant night manager enters the pool area again. The girls father and I approached him and asked if he took a photo of our child. He denied taking a photo with my daughter in the picture. His reaction spoke volume he was shaking when approached and tried to walk away. He stated he was "doing his job" and then stepped into a closed area with his phone in his hand. There was a woman in the hot tub next to us who said "I saw everything don't let him delete anything without you seeing!" But that was already my plan! I stepped into the doorway of the area the manager stepped into. I said let's clear this up please show me the photo. After pushing his way out and finally bringing up the photos, I saw my daughter in the photo as he tried to delete them. I grabbed his phone as soon as I saw him trying to delete the photo of my daughter. She was bent over outside of the pool. He tensed up with two fists like he was going to hit me until my girls father got involved. The assistant night manager was shaking even more while my girls father deleted the photos checking his text/emails to make sure they weren't sent to someone.( at this point the asst manager allowed the kids father to have his phone) Everyone in the pool area is still watching. Things got heated verbally. He stated his photos were for work. For safety precautions since there was a tarp/door open in the area. ( there was 2 photos on the asst manager phone from this incident. ONE blurry of the overall area as if taken quickly and the SECOND photo with my daughter in it and the tarp in the background). I called the police. The police interviewed my girls father before interviewing the assistant night manager. They had found a photo with our daughter in his recently deleted section on his android that he told us his android did not have. They also checked his outgoing messages and entire phone to confirm that there was nothing containing our child still on his phone. In between the police being called and speaking with the general manager this man was MIA for at least 10-15 minutes. The GM's response and reaction was beyond disappointing. Along with all staff at the front desk as if we (along with other guests) were wrong for being concerned about this incident which made this more aggravating due to the type of situation. The GM kept a smile on his face and was dismissive, even when the police arrived. He stated that the assist manager did nothing wrong and will have no repercussions. The GM also stated that I was wrong to step into the staff area. (The police reminded him that any parent would have done the same!) I was not combative or threatening. I clearly stated I wanted, NEEDED to see the photo ( what parent wouldn't in this situation? If the asst manager did nothing wrong and had a clear conscience why did the situation go as it did? Why not handle it professionally, show the photo, apologize ect.) After the night manager was questioned by the police, the police determined that there was NO charges that are able to be filed. Staff confirmed that there are protocols and regulations in place for staff to take photos for safety or other reasons. Which would not allow a minor to be photographed. Given the circumstances and how the situation played out we were angry upset and wanted to make our daughters feel safe and comfortable. We left the Eden resort.

Secondly, the provided breakfast was very disappointing. So much so that we went shopping for breakfast items to keep in our room as we had no interest in dining out each morning. Also, our suite did lack robes which made it much harder to remain comfortable while we relaxed after soaking in our hot tub and during our morning breakfasts in room. That being said, if you'd prefer prepared breakfasts, there is a great couple cafes just on the other side of the parking garage that open fairly early. Just don't expect this hotel to satisfy any real hunger in the morning. To summarize what was available: Overly lemon juice coated fruits Plain white bread products with a toaster Scrambled powdered eggs and bacon so thin it doesn't even taste like bacon Cereal/milk Oatmeal Overcooked hard boiled eggs (green ring around yolks) I think I saw yogurt on people's tables but it was gone when we arrived. Lastly, the tables in the breakfast room are very wobbly. We moved once and it was still an issue at the next so that was about the time we left. That being said, here are the things we loved: -Great ambiance in the lobby with a couple games and sketchbooks to pass time. -Friendly front desk staff -charming suite with spacious hot tub and powerful shower -comfortable couches, bed, and chairs -in suite table was sturdy and did not wobble -proximity to cafes and shops -free parking -restaurant on site; for dinner only. -nearby park/trail decent for jogging/walking
