The breakfast was not terrible! The hotel itself could have used a good cleaning. Getting into the walk in shower is a joke! To turn it on you need to step in the shower and get blasted with water. Who thought up that brilliant design? Y'all should try it out . The towels were very thin and even holes in some. Absolutely no place to put anything in the bathroom. If the pool were usable - 5 stars! Our room was clean and pristine. Big and beautiful too! The bed was lush and amazing - this makes or breaks it for me. Nice big tv and I loved the Neutrogena amenities and great shower - both the head and the hot temperature! Now ... the pool was out of order due to a broken light (not COVID). OUR MAIN REASON FOR BOOKING HERE!!! Guests were compensated with either going to the community pool a mile away, or to The Residence Inn (indoor pool). An inconvenience regardless. Sadly in need of a refresh, as it has fallen behind the normally high Hampton standard. Room was not very well cleaned, with multiple bits of food left on the bathroom floor. One of the doors into the building had an "Out of order" sign on it that has obviously been there for some considerable time. There is an electric vehicle charging station in the back parking lot that has not been operational for years, and the hotel manager said the owner doesn't care. Since I have stayed here in the past, I can definitely see how it has deteriorated. read more

When in Lancaster I usually hole up at the Fulton Inn because I love watching the ducks. However, this time I got hit with a crap load of Internet work to do so I decided on the Hampton and I'm glad I did. It's somewhat off the beaten track of Lancaster but only by a mile or two. It has one of the fastest Internet thingies for a hotel I've seen along with printouts and the whole schmear; so to speak. It's a four story Hampton with a lovely lobby/breakfast area and a most friendly as well as efficient staff. I stay at Hampton Inns a lot and this is indeed one of the better Hampton Inns I've come across. read more

We are having the time of our lives! Outdoor pool is beautiful and clean, with clean towels for you to use. The hotel lobby is set up nicely, along with the breakfast area, snack shop and reception. Very friendly and helpful staff. Staff was happy to help answer any questions we had and give us recommendations. Hotel is walking distance to several sandwich shops and the Greenfield restaurant (highly recommend). Minutes from Outlets and Dutch Wonderland. Rooms are a nice size, updated, clean and have microwaves and mini fridge. We will definitely be back next time we are in town and will recommend to our friends and family! The entire building and each room is perfectly air conditioned, even on the warmest and most humid days. Outdoor pool that's open til 10! Nice outdoor area to hang out. Adequate selection of alcohol sold on premises. Generous parking lot and multiple entrances to accommodate any parking spot. Staff are incredibly friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. Free breakfast features a variety of cereals, pastries, breads and toppings, fruit, waffle station, oatmeal station, and a few hot dishes (eggs, bacon, potatoes). The Hampton Inn on Greenfield Road in Lancaster is a particularly good choice for a stay in the Lancaster region of Pennsylvania. I am a committee member of the City of Lodi, and on Tuesday I was to participate at a public city meeting via phone, during my stay. As a result, a public notice must be posted at the hotel. It's a state law, and no other Hilton properties have ever had an issue with this. After providing the notice to the shift lead, I was assured the manager (Andrea Morris) would take care of it. That evening I noticed it was not posted. I asked another shift lead about it and she had no idea. I left her with my number for the manager and explained that it was urgent. The next morning I checked in again, and another shift lead had no idea about my request. Again, I asked them to have the general manager call me immediately to get this posted. I stressed that if the notice isn't posted, I won't be able to participate in the meeting and that I cannot vote. No call from the manager. That afternoon I checked in, again, and asked the shift lead from before. She told me that Hilton has a policy that they will not post anything in the lobby. I explained that I've done this before at other Hiltons, it's literally a state law, and it shouldn't be a problem. I also explained that if they had an issue with this, they should have told me in the last 48 hours so I could have moved to another location. She called the manager, explained all this, and the manager still wouldn't talk to me. The manager said no. I again pleaded with the shift lead, who told the manager that this would prevent me from voting at the public meeting. The manager, Andrea, didn't care. Aside from this, the hotel was perfectly fine. The hotel staff (except the manager) was extremely nice and sympathetic to my issue. The hotel was clean, modern. There was a lot of noise from the nearby freeway but it wasn't a big deal. read more

I have been loyal to the Hilton family of hotels for over 10 years, and last night was the worst night of sleep I have gotten in a hotel. The bed was incredibly hard, and the pillows so thin my body hurt when I woke up this morning. I ended up having to sleep on the duvet in order to add some cushion to be able to get a few hours of broken sleep. As with most Hampton Inns I've stayed in the room was clean, yet looks old be has it looks outdated. Having a micro/fridge combo was nice, especially because we were traveling with a toddler. The staff was courteous and friendly which is why I am giving three stars. read more

One night stay with 2 relatives. Plenty of free parking in lot. Near Costco, McDonalds & a great Japanese place called Ginza. Free hot tea/coffee station which we hit upon evening check in. Room was clean, shower was hot & functioned well, beds were comfy. Staff was friendly. In the morning they have free hot breakfast offering mini omelettes, sausage & potatoes, make your own waffle as well as fruit & a large variety of cold items. Super nice front desk crew. For some reason, this Hilton chain hotel location didn't let me choose my room prior to arrival. One of the main reasons I ever book with Hilton is the ability to choose my room versus the normal song and dance with the front desk folks. Anyhow, they had assigned me to a first floor, pet friendly room. For 99% of folks this is not an issue, due to my severe allergies, it could be for me. The associate moved me to a top floor room and all seemed well. Now, I know the hotel does NOT control guests, nor guest's actions, however their response to issues is what is key. Just our luck, we ended up at the hotel on the same night as 50+ other kids. Not typically an issue, unless parents allow their kids to run for HOURS through the hallways playing hide and seek while the parents sit down stairs chugging beers. After 90+ minutes of the running, (these kids were in shape!) the hotel staff sprang in to action and resolved the issue after the second call. I have to be more careful about booking hotels in areas that host large sporting events. But, it could be worse and they could have been hosting a wedding that didn't die down until 4 am. read more

Recently stayed here for a small trip to Lancaster. There were a few small touches that positively added to the stay such as the warm chocolate chip cookies that were in constant rotation in the lobby, and the full breakfast bar in the morning. That being said, the overall experience of the stay was not an especially positive one. Our room had a very odd smell as soon as we arrived- something like feet/BO/farts mixed together. The bedding was thin and smelled like it hadn't been washed. The carpets were dark in color, obviously hiding any stains, but after I finished my shower and walked on the carpet with bare feet they left the underside of my feet stained black and dirty. The pool was a decent size but had a ton of bugs and dirt on the surface. The pool towels had a dirty smell and were thin and rough. Overall I will not be returning as there are plenty of better stays at a lower cost. read more

When it comes to hotels, it's the little things that make all the difference, and this hotel got the little things right like very soft water (ran through a water softener or filtration system) and towels that were soft and comfortable. The rooms were very clean, the staff was friendly and professional, and to my great surprise, the internet was the fastest I had ever experienced at any hotel! Traveling with 5 people can be quite difficult especially when it comes to space in hotel rooms. The Hampton Inn was generous to allow us to occupy the unused handicap accessible room which provided enough space for a pullout bed as well as a king bed!! Easy access to the Costco across the street was a life saver especially for a thrifty lunch. Easy public transportation into downtown Lancaster made it easy for all 5 of us to enjoy our freedom. Top notch, recently renovated Hampton Inn. Room design is excellent as is lighting. High standard of cleanliness. Friendly staff. We stayed across town yesterday at the Hilton Garden Inn, which was not especially clean, poorly lit room and bathroom, with mechanicals that were not functioning (Direct TV, card readers on exterior doors, unresponsive staff in dealing with the tv and key card problems). Top tip: Avoid the Hilton Garden Inn and definitely stay at the Hampton. The Hampton is far better managed and far more attractive. read more

My husband travels for business so we stay in a lot of hotels. This particular Hampton Inn has been a treat!! The breakfast staff was wonderful and the food was hot and good! We brought our three girls this time and our youngest was so excited about the pool. Which by the way, is beautiful! The landscape is wonderful! The room has amazing art! Which we love! When my daughter gave the hotel a shout out on Facebook, the manager brought up a thank you note and two Hershey bars!! How sweet!!! Over all our stay has been so memorable thanks to these accommodations! We definitely would recommend this hotel and we definitely would stay here again!!! We had a block here for our wedding and it was great! The hotel was really nice, the rooms were spacious (especially the suite we stayed in), and it was convenient to places in the area. The breakfast in the morning isn't gourmet by any means but it was sufficient and pretty good. We had use of a meeting room for an after-party and the shuttle for transportation back and forth from the venue. Both were convenient and definitely an added bonus for our wedding and wedding guests. Our coordinator, Monica, was great and easy to contact, and all the staff we encountered during our stay were incredibly pleasant and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. read more

I was very conflicted about this review. But here are the facts. You decide, Checked into hotel around 8.30 PM on Friday. Got a good price as part of a wedding block. Pleasant check- in. Was given key to a room. Opened door and blown backwards by the stench of disinfectant. Returned to front desk. Told the hotel was sold out and there were no other rooms available. Unacceptable. It seems this room has stunk for days and should have been put out of service. So it was no surprise I was asking for another room. After some discussion was finally offered another room. Swapped our room for another in which the guests hadn't yet arrived. Hopefully some guest will be a no- show, so no one has to stay in that room. So 1-star rating for an uninhabitable room. We would have had to leave this hotel and find another hotel if that was the only room available. Tried the door to room #2 but the door knob stayed locked. Finally fiddled around and got it open. Room was decent size and clean. Bed was comfortable enough. The front desk person was very nice. Very apologetic. And offered to compensate us with a free nights stay. So 5-star rating for good attitude and trying to make it right. Lessons Learned 1. Do NOT accept an unacceptable room. 2. Check in early if possible. Our flight was delayed, so we had no choice. Only a handful of guests had not yet checked in. But someone was going to get that stinky room! 3. Hope for honest Yelps. read more

I only gave it three stars, because of the lady at the counter who gave us a better room. We're Hilton Honor members and normally rate upgrades to a suite, but today there were none available from what the gentleman at the counter told us. So we go to the room that he gave us, walked into the room that was already looked like it was slept in. We go back to the counter and get helped by another female employee at the desk and low and behold there actually was suites available. I don't know if it was racial by the gentleman at the counter, but that's what it seemed like to me. read more

We moved here from another hotel at the last minute and got a beautiful room. Spacious, clean, quiet, everything the other hotel we left, didn't have. I LOVE Hampton's. An overall decent hotel with friendly staff, this Hampton Inn is certainly dated in its room decor that unfortunately makes it feel warn down. However, to be fair the beds aer very comfortable,the rooms are clean, the complementary breakfast is pretty good and the free soup and cookies in the evening are a nice touch.
