I tired their new automated bar feature but the dispensers serve mostly foam. The room was the most disappointing experience. Stained carpet, dirty room, filthy shower, a cracker-jack repair jobs. The pool water was gray and cloudy, and the patio area just not tended to. The follow up email from management was just a cookie cutter standard template. Probably not their fault, a lot of these properties are not owned by Hilton but by cheap foreign companies with low budgets and high expectations. Stay away from this location.

You have to drive up, check in with valet, unload bags, check in, take bags to room, then ask valet to bring your vehicle back from around the corner in the parking garage. Or, you can opt to self park. Both options are $29/day each. The front desk had 2 people up front, no one was checking in and I stood facing the front desk for about 9 long minutes before anyone acknowledged me. I was in a time crunch because I asked the valet to hold my truck and not park it as my conference event would be starting soon. I was able to check in, make my credit card payment, and get my room keys. I had to ask about the free breakfast, free one-time per stay Happy Hour, and the perks. I took my bags to the room, and noticed that it was clean and tidy. The AC was set to 72 degrees. The lighting was off and there was a whole half of the room that relied on the standing lamp, and no wall switch for it. I made it back downstairs and retrieved my truck. Once I returned from the conference event I gave my truck to the valet for overnight parking, came into the inn, and went to my room. This is when I found out that the restroom toilet did not have a reliable flushing knob. It's one of those that you have to hold down. Anyway, I was fine and lived through it, it happens. The cons from this stay: 1. Sheets and pillows smelled like funky body odor-asked for front desk to change them out, and was told no housekeeping until check out day. 2. Toilet flushing handle requires holding down 3. No housekeeping until check out day 4. Pull up parking not available without ba, busy street with not parking options 5. My favorite maxi dress was missing from my luggage when I got home. Pros: 1. Close to the Riverside Convention Center-1 block across the street walk 2. Happy Hour Taps 3. Free Hot breakfast 4. Beautiful lobby and dining areas 5. Has a pool 6. Great gym 7. Nice towels 8. Comfortable beds

You see, I had a booking and everything, and when asked for id at the registration desk, I realized I somehow misplaced it! Thus, I was unable to check in. When asking what my options were, they said that while they could not do anything on their end in the interim, that they would be more than happy to approve a refund request that would have to be sent from the third party platform I booked on (Booking.com) After Booking.com sent their official request on my behalf to the hotel for cancellation and refund, the staff immediately approved the request and I got a confirmation email. The staff at Raincross Hotel did not have to do that, yet they did. They chose to accommodate me in my time of need and not profit off of my misfortune. And for that, I give them 5 stars. The staff here goes above and beyond for you.

Extremely disappointing experience. I booked this Marriott MONTHS in advance for a trip with my…read morepartner, and my original receipt showed the cost at approximately $450. When I arrived, I was suddenly hit with additional fees that brought the price up to around $680. That is roughly a $230 increase from what was shown on my original receipt. These were not charges I was expecting when I made the reservation, and had the true cost been clearly disclosed from the beginning, I would have made different arrangements. Even worse was the way the situation was handled at the front desk. When I questioned the charges, the employee initially told me the total was around $580. Then, somehow, the amount changed AGAIN and I was told it was approximately $680. How does the price of an existing reservation change by another $100 while I am standing at the front desk trying to get an explanation? Instead of showing any real concern or making an effort to find a solution, the front desk employee seemed completely uninterested in helping. I was essentially left with the choice of accepting a price more than $200 higher than what my original receipt showed or changing plans that had been arranged months beforehand. Ultimately, I had to cancel the second day of our reservation and rearrange my partner's and my trip at the last minute because of this. I understand taxes and legitimate hotel fees exist. What I do NOT find acceptable is booking a hotel for approximately $450, having a receipt showing that amount, and then arriving to find out that the actual amount being requested is approximately $680. A $230 difference isn't a small inconvenience. It's a significant increase, and guests deserve to know the true cost of their stay BEFORE they make their plans and arrive at the hotel. Between the unexpected fees, the price changing from roughly $580 to $680 while I was trying to get answers, and the complete lack of effort from the front desk to resolve the situation, this experience was unacceptable. What was supposed to be an enjoyable trip with my partner turned into us scrambling to change our plans because the price we were being asked to pay did not match what was originally provided to us. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering staying here carefully review every charge and get the full price in writing before arriving. Based on my experience, I would not trust the price shown at booking to necessarily be the price you are ultimately asked to pay.

The girl at the front desk was super nice and friendly and checked us in very quickly. She offered us water and snacks. The room was very nice too. We had a queen bed with a tv in the room, coffee machine and fridge. No smell or anything in the room. Here were the problems however. The bed was lumpy along with the pillows. I woke up the following morning with back pain. They had told us breakfast was included so we went downstairs and again were disappointed. There were scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, cereal and fruit. Juice and coffee as well. The only good thing was probably the coffee. The eggs tasted like they were out of a carton and watered down. So my advice would be skip the breakfast and go somewhere else, which we later did.

The…read morehotel only has one washer and one dryer for the entire property, and as you can see, the dryer was completely broken front panel off, clearly out of service. What made it worse wasn't just the inconvenience, but the response from staff. When I brought it up, there was no urgency, no apology, and no effort to provide a solution or alternative. For a hotel that caters to travelers who often rely on laundry during longer stays, this is a pretty basic amenity to neglect. Not to mention it's COIN OPERATED. Marriott has gone WAY down hill. Hilton would NEVER LOL. If you're planning to stay here for more than a night or two, don't count on being able to do laundry. Between the lack of functional equipment and the indifferent staff response, it's just not reliable.

Then an older man came out to give me my key and loudly said my room number. There was only one other lady there but you never know who is listening. I did not like that but as the room was the closest to the lobby available I did not request a swap. The room is very outdated and desperately in need of basic maintenance. The remote for the TV did not work and the room is very simply lit even with all the lights on. The outlets are a HAZARD. I could not charge any of my devices in the room as the outlets are very loose and even coming off the wall. The prongs just slide out. Then on my last night, I switched on the light that is also the fan for the restroom and it started making a jarring, metallic sound. I genuinely was worried it would start smoking. It was past midnight and decided I would not be switching it on after taking a video. I had to go to work, so when I checked out I asked for the managers card but was informed he did not have one and asked if I would like to wait for him. I couldn't wait as I had work but I would not recommend staying here for more than one night.

The room is filthy, there's hair in the tub that definitely looks like it needs a good bleach scrubbing too. The floor is tore up and also dirty. The bed is okay, not super comfortable but still probably the cleanest thing in this room. We do have a window, and outside is a broken down wall with a ton on trash and filth outside. The curtains have cigarette burns and a possible blood stain. The door to the bathroom doesn't latch and looks like it was busted into. And the couch is broken and at a slant. Also roach infestation! The room is probably the best part of this place. Outside is tons of homeless and druggies. I watched one vomit in front of reception and the poor cleaning lady had to chase him away with a mop and clean it up. Also, the reception is a window that a movie theater or fast food restaurant would have. You don't go inside. Sketchy. However the lady who helped me check in was very nice and the staff I have met so far has been rather helpful and friendly. Can't say the same for the people staying here. The people in the room next to us loudly fight and have a dog that barks loudly. Only reason I am giving 2 stars is because friendly staff and the free coffee is decent. But don't stay here if you have a choice.
