This is my second time staying at the hotel, first experience great, but this time not so good. There was a staff member that had such bad attitude from the time we checked in to the day we left. She worked the early evening shift, young heavy set Hispanic girl, who had the nastiest attitude. She got an attitude when I told the lady checking me in that the room should already be paid for. She said something in Spanish to the girl checking me in and checked the computer, as if I was lying, so was just nasty. The day we checked out, I had an issue with the machine to open the gate to leave, she came out with an attitude scanned her badge thing to open the gate and said "it's right here" which she was referring to were I would scan my room key to open the gate. Had to tell her we checked out and the machine wasn't working, all she said was "oh ". If you are that unhappy in your life or hate your job, please do us a favor and move on and stay away from customers service. Bathroom could use a better cleaning, sink had yucky stuff on the inside of the sink, and the shower edges needed a scrub, looked a bit slimy. The bed spread what appeared to be dry blood. Did have it replaced and staff tried to say it was nail polish, I know the difference. I did fail by not taking pictures. read more

Can't believe a hotel in a central location in an above average SoCal town performs so poorly. Greeting for a diamond member is non existent. I tired their new automated bar feature but the dispensers serve mostly foam. The room was the most disappointing experience. Stained carpet, dirty room, filthy shower, a cracker-jack repair jobs. The pool water was gray and cloudy, and the patio area just not tended to. The follow up email from management was just a cookie cutter standard template. Probably not their fault, a lot of these properties are not owned by Hilton but by cheap foreign companies with low budgets and high expectations. Stay away from this location. read more

We checked in later in the evening and we were tired from traveling. Staff was welcoming and friendly. When we got to our room we discovered many issues. There were stains and trash in multiple spots from other guests, when I tried to use the phone to call the front desk I found that the phone did not work because of a broken cord, sweet. I went down to the front desk to report my problems, as I left my room my door would not latch shut. At the front desk they were apologetic and offered to switch my room in the morning, as it was close to midnight. I was advised to send my photos and videos to the front desk email, which I did. Inside looks new and clean. Lobby is spacious and has plenty of places to sit and relax. The patio is nice and has a grill, the pool looked clean. We did not go in, too windy. Elevators ran a little slow. Breakfast was buffet style eggs (various ways) meat and potatoes. There was also a waffle station, oatmeal station and toast. Fresh fruits and yogurts available. There was coffee and hot water available. This hotel shares a small parking garage with the neighboring hotel home2suites. Short walking distance to Fox Performing Arts Center. read more

Okay l, the hotel is nice when you walk in. When you drive up, another story. The driveway is a small set of 2 tandem parking spots, separated by a concrete island. You have to drive up, check in with valet, unload bags, check in, take bags to room, then ask valet to bring your vehicle back from around the corner in the parking garage. Or, you can opt to self park. Both options are $29/day each. The front desk had 2 people up front, no one was checking in and I stood facing the front desk for about 9 long minutes before anyone acknowledged me. I was in a time crunch because I asked the valet to hold my truck and not park it as my conference event would be starting soon. I was able to check in, make my credit card payment, and get my room keys. I had to ask about the free breakfast, free one-time per stay Happy Hour, and the perks. I took my bags to the room, and noticed that it was clean and tidy. The AC was set to 72 degrees. The lighting was off and there was a whole half of the room that relied on the standing lamp, and no wall switch for it. I made it back downstairs and retrieved my truck. Once I returned from the conference event I gave my truck to the valet for overnight parking, came into the inn, and went to my room. This is when I found out that the restroom toilet did not have a reliable flushing knob. It's one of those that you have to hold down. Anyway, I was fine and lived through it, it happens. The cons from this stay: 1. Sheets and pillows smelled like funky body odor-asked for front desk to change them out, and was told no housekeeping until check out day. 2. Toilet flushing handle requires holding down 3. No housekeeping until check out day 4. Pull up parking not available without ba, busy street with not parking options 5. My favorite maxi dress was missing from my luggage when I got home. Pros: 1. Close to the Riverside Convention Center-1 block across the street walk 2. Happy Hour Taps 3. Free Hot breakfast 4. Stayed at the Hampton Inn in downtown Riverside, which is conveniently located right next to the Food Lab. The room was clean and pretty standard. One downside was the noise from the room above us as we could clearly hear footsteps, and it sounded like they had pretty heavy feet. What really bugged me, though, was the parking situation. The only options were $30 valet or trying your luck with street parking. From our room, I could see an empty parking lot, which made it feel like a money grab. Breakfast was from 6 to 9 AM, your typical Hampton Inn setup with eggs, waffles, and a few sides. Nothing fancy but does the job. Overall, decent stay, great location, but the parking setup left a bad impression. read more

I want to Thank all the Yelpers! for the tips. I was able to find the public parking structure nearby! It was a very clean and well-maintained hotel and a great location! I stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday, and there was no construction going on, so it was noise-free for us. There must be some feedback about the noise, so the hotel provided 2 sets of earplugs on the nightstand. The housekeeper provided a sanitizer wipe by the TV remote; that was an extremely thoughtful gesture! I enjoyed the daily beer, my mom loved the hot breakfast with lots of selections and daily specials. The hotel is pet-friendly, which is another PLUS for us! read more

Wow, what a luxury experience! Want your room cleaned? Better have psychic powers and call 24 hours in advance--because who doesn't plan their trash and dirty towels a full day ahead? Genius system. Honestly bad review, this hotel has a facade of looking nice but everything is actually run down, broken, and the staff doesn't seem to know what's going on. To start off they messed up our booking and was trying to charge us for a missed night fee until we showed them theoigh paperwork and calling our booking agency that they were wrong. Then their WiFi is confusing, you need to be a Marriott member otherwise it is $12 a day, absolutely ridiculous. We made an account so it was free but the WiFi sucks if you aren't paying for it and phone service is slow so good luck getting anything done if you're here for work. Next the tv in my room is outdated and lags. Please tell me why in 2020 pandora is still an app on the tv. The shower head was also gross and didn't look like it had been cleaned. read more

My new favorite area to stay while visiting in Cali. The location is PERFECT!!! It's worth staying here and driving to nearby cities when visiting. There's parking construction going on so parking would've been a headache in which, I'm glad that they offered valet parking. Upon arrival, the valet crew were nothing short of amazing! I liked that they loved my vehicle and parked it by all of the fancy vehicles(I'm only saying this because I'm a car chick) to give the hotel an classy vibe upon entrance. Cute display. That strategy was nice guys Grateful I absolutely love it here! This location appears to be very safe, nice and has lots to do within walking distance. My hotel view was the best!!! Since, there was an ANIME CONVENTION going on here, I was able to have a great view. Watching Anime characters was one of my favorite thing to watch from the Top floor view upgrade that I was provided. Thanks guys The rooms are nice and clean but not fancy. Definitely a great comfortable place to watch TV, lay your head and to shower. Give plus!!! In my past travels literally have never made it to breakfast in hotels because I've always thought of them to be basic, until I stayed here!!! This hotel has the best breakfast that I've ever seen in any hotel and from now on, I'll be definitely taking advantage of hotels that offer breakfast. Lol They had 3 types of orange juice, freshly scrambled eggs and egg whites, sausage made with the perfect seasoning, sausage patties, 2 different waffle batters (Red Velvet and regular), oatmeal with different toppings and biscuits with gravy as well as fruit. Like I said, THE BEST BREAKFAST EVER!!! These awesome cooks and staff definitely deserve a raise and 3 Months off (he he ha)! Of course I had to tip them because service was amazing!!! The hotel also offers beer on tap which is offered outside of breakfast as well as 24hr Coffee, hot chocolate and tea all in the lobby. I'm not a beer drinker but it's a nice touch for those who do drink beer. Honestly, I don't think I've ever been 99% satisfied at any hotel but this crew and valet crew of awesomeness made it happen. I wished that they provided free or cheaper parking for it's guests. I wasn't a fan of the pool which was in back because it wasn't a very good location to have it and it's kinda thrown back there. I liked the patio with the BBQ grilling area though. I also wasn't big on the bathroom, not that it was bad but, it was just kinda outdated looking for the hotel to appear newer. I don't think it's a place kids would enjoy ONLY because the pool area isn't very big and they would probably be board in the area. I find the area more of an area for adult fun with restaurants bars and boutiques to go through. ( In my opinion ). This hotel is ridiculous - why, pray tell, are there sensors in the room that shut everything down if you're not moving enough. Laying in bed, watching TV? Don't get too comfortable because the lights and TV and everything will shut down if you aren't sufficiently alive for the automated overlord. Couple that with a garage elevator that works one minute but then is actually supposed to be out of order, ice machines that don't work, and requests for prepayment that are ignored instead of processed leaving things very uncertain, and this first night in my room is feeling like an eternity already. Two more nights to go. I would not be here if I didn't have to be. This is NOT, however, a reflection on the staff, who have been very sympathetic and kind and are doing their best, especially Alejandra at the front desk. There is a sensor in the room that if you don't move every 5 minutes it shuts off everything. The TV, the lights and sometimes the internet. Who puts a sensor in a hotel room? You can't relax or do anything because it will shut off the majority of the power. I had to get done something and it took me twice as long. read more

The good: - Breakfast had a lot of options - waffle maker had batter with rotating flavors like vanilla, red velvet, blueberry. However, if you get there during the morning rush, you'll be waiting a while between the two waffle makers. Other options were assorted breads, muffins, bagels, cereals, yogurt. There were also fruit, eggs, sausages, potatoes. - Room seemed quiet. I couldn't hear any of my surrounding neighbors through the walls like at other hotels. But maybe they were just quiet? I could hear people in the hallway if they were running or shouting. I also did not hear stomping from the floor above us. We stayed in a room facing the neighborhood so it wasn't loud. There were earplugs provided on the night stand but we didn't need them. - Room was clean. I was expecting worse given some reviews but everything was fine. - location is convenient to the Food and Game labs across the street - free coffee, tea, hot chocolate near the front desk all day - I liked the hooks on the wall to hang extra bags and jackets The iffy and so so: - leaky shower faucet that dripped all night no matter how tight I tried to close it - parking was valet or a lot down the street. However, since I stayed over a weekend, street parking was free and available (Saturday, Sundays, and holidays there is no 90 minute time limit) - Pool is not heated (icy cold) - No daily happy hour even though there are signs everywhere advertising it (even at the front desk) - Mini fridge works but you need to crank it up high to be normal cold. No real complaint because in the end it did work fine even though it didn't feel cold at all when I first opened the door. - misleading advertising about free first pour. The sign offers you a complimentary alcoholic beverage between 12 pm and 11 pm if you show your ID and room key. It states the first pour is free. However, they didn't state that only a few ounces are free. The rest you get charged for. read more

Great hotel in the middle of busy Downtown Riverside. There is so much in walking distance and I barely used the car the entire time throughout our stay. Service is good, they have a small shop inside for water, snacks etc if needed with a self check out, daily breakfast and in the afternoon even beer on tap. There is coffee as well. Nice seating in the lobby, great grill and seating outside as well right next to the outdoor pool. Worst of our stay would be the road noice with sirens etc. we didn't hear much indoor noice from hallway or other rooms, but fire trucks etc were prevalent quite a few times in the night. Nothing that kept so from sleeping once asleep. There was a mini fridge. Coffee maker and microwave in the room and the room itself was clean. This is now day eleven since checking out of the Hampton Inn Riverside. I HAVE STILL YET TO RECEIVE A CREDIT FOR MY PET FEE OVERCHARGE OF $169.80!!!! Their stated pet fee is a one time charge of $75.00 of which we agreed to $150.00 since we have three little dogs, plus the usual taxes, BUT this was charged twice on my statement. Although the so called "credit" was "issued" on December 7, 2023, HOWEVER, there is no sign of it on my Hilton Honors American Express account. If there is no movement on my credit card by the tenth business day, I will be calling Hilton Honors Corporate Offices AGAIN AND the BBB. Ratings from the BBB do affect the status of businesses. Hampton Inn manager, VIRENDRA SINGH is still a NO-SHOW and is hardly at the property. What kind of manager does this?! Complaints like mine here on Yelp also affect whether customers will be a patron of a business. I will post an update in a few days. read more

This is a very clean hotel, and is what you would expect from the Hampton brand of Hilton. It's in a great location in downtown for exploring and is right next door to the really cool Riverside Food Lab (if that's your sort of thing). However, the service here is not what I expect from a Hilton branded hotel. The valet parking gentlemen were very friendly and helpful (third party), but the hotel employees couldn't have cared less. As someone who checks in and out on the app, meaning I didn't have to go to the front desk at all, I never once was spoken to or greeted by an employee coming or going. In addition, I'm not sure if it's still residual COVID-era policy, but in a 4 day stay I did not receive and housekeeping service to my room. I don't expect a full deep clean everyday, but I didn't even receive a daily trash check, towel check, etc. Speaking of towels, I only asked 4 times to get more (since I didn't get service), and I'm still waiting... read more

I stay at Hamptons usually, b/c they take pets. This is probably one of the worst Hampton hotels. The area is super sketch, right downtown and next to a tattoo parlor of some sort and an auto repair shop. The proximity to the convention center was why we stayed here, it's within walking distance, across the street. The parking!! AWFUL PARKING. You pull up expecting a lot and there is 1 spot. Your option? Valet for $29 a day, or drive down the block to the public lot for $20 a day. They are building a lot in the back that might be for this hotel, but it's been under construction for 1.5 years, so you'll end up in a parking mess. If you are able-bodied and can do the walk, drop your luggage at the door and go park for $20 in the public lot. It's the same exact lot where they park you for $29 and they drive your cars like maniacs. We did the $20 option and watched how the valets would run over and drive like racers in the cars. Do it yourself, especially if you're just there a single night. The lot is awful, dirty, smelly, and looks unsafe, but they did have security after hours and our car was parked 3 days and was fine. The breakfast was good, and hot, and varied which was nice. The gym was ok - very few machines but they did have working tv screens and some amenities were provided. The room was below average -- very small by Hampton standards and everything in the room turns off if you don't stay in constant motion (tv, lights, etc.). Overall I wish we had booked someplace else -- there was also no nearby shopping and the parking was a major turnoff. Check your bill before you go! read more

Literally the worst experience ever. First they charge you $29. For parking in a crappy dirty parking structure that has a sign that says flat rate $15!!! And the excuse was the charge was for in case you go in out!! Like what!! How is that legal. The ladies up front were nice and they had good snacks. The hotel its self is nice. But the parking that's not apart of the hotel it's public parking that had throw up in the elevator and the hard bed that felt like sleeping on card board earns it a 1 if not a half star! My back hurts from the mattress being so hard ughhhh! And I have a long day ahead of me. Never again!! read more

Do not give this business your money! This business does not want to honor their refund policy. AND THEY WILL LIE TO YOU! Look at all the one star reviews here. I held off on writing a negative review to give the hotel a fair chance to make things right, but they didn't. So here we are. We were checked into room 330 on April 27th. And, checked out of the room right before midnight on the same day, due to the extreme noise. We attempted to get some rest in our room, but after a couple of hours had passed, we knew we weren't going to get any sleep. The room had ear plugs in it that we put in our ears, and I had also brought along my white noise machine that was turned all the way up. Despite our best efforts to drown out the noise, it was just too loud. I was told upon checking out that a refund would be issued to me. The woman handling the front desk told us that she couldn't switch us rooms because they were at full capacity due to a high school cooking competition being held at over at the convention center. She told us that "a refund would not be a problem," and that I would see it posted to my account within a week. To my surprise, when I had inquired about it a week and a half later through the chat, I was told that I "hadn't checked out of the room yet." I find that strange since the company charged me for the room the following day. If I hadn't checked out of the room, wouldn't a cost still be pending? I had also attempted to check out of the room a second time about 20 minutes later, when I had noticed on the Hilton app that it didn't say I had been checked out of the room yet. I had taken a screenshot of my attempt to check out of the room as well. I also sent this information to the company through email and their response was that they can't issue me a refund because the person at the front desk that checked us out "didn't write that we left early in the checkout notes," and that was what they were going to base their decision off of. Which, if you remember in the beginning the chat through the app had told me "I hadn't checked out yet," but the person who checked us out "didn't write anything in the notes." So, did we check out or not? Hampton can't stick with their story. Even though I offered screen shots with time/date stamps, they would still not honor their refund. They should just say up front that there are no refunds, rather than telling guests that a refund will not be a problem. There was also a concern over the cleanliness of the room that we tried to address. There was a dirty towel, with what looked to be makeup and blood on it, wadded up and shoved into the bathroom cubby. This is the last time I will ever stay at this hotel. My opinion from this experience is to take your money elsewhere to a business that will honor their word. Because, Hampton will gladly take your $400 on a hotel room that they know you won't be able to sleep in. Hence their courtesy earplugs. The Hyatt hotel is right across the street. read more

The night before we were going to stay at the hotel I received an email stating "Due to construction, the hotel offers offsite self parking or onsite valet service at a cost." When we arrived I didn't see any construction when I went in to park in the parking structure attached to the hotel, when I checked in staff asked if I parked inside and I said yes. They gave me a tag to put inside my car and they left it at that, only to find a $29 and some change charge? When I called about it they said they had charged for parking inside the structure, so I'm assuming that was the "onsite valet service charge" even though I parked it myself (there was no one outside to attend those arriving) and the staff never mentioned the charge to me when I arrived or before I left even though I let them know where I parked. On top of that, the parking structure is shared with some apartment homes right next to the hotel, so don't expect it to be easy to find parking. The staff was nice during my stay, when I checked in I noticed a sign that says you have to come down to ask for towel, blankets etc. it's clear they don't take it to your room so if you need anything extra be prepared to take a trip to the lobby, I happened to step out the hotel so on my way back up I asked for extra towels. The room was cleaned up, can't complain about that. If you don't plan on staying in so much I'd say it's a fair price. The location is actually nice, I took a walk in DTR to get fresh air. I just crossed the street and enjoyed the Festival of Lights. Didn't see much live tv but HBO MAX was available so that was nice. Breakfast is 6am-9am, it was basic but good. I think it's only a buffet because you can get more? They have seriously attitude and quality problems at reception. I stayed two nights from this Friday till Sunday. They have happy hour free beer serving in right front of reception. Despite happy hour, I was asked to pay 9 bucks?!?!? The lady at second night did right explanation for me to have free beer. I just left a hotel and noticed that I'm charged for two nights valet parking. I called up reception and ask them for fixing the issue. The lady over the phone said I have two cars. I said it's not possible because of me as an adult and my son 11 years old. How is it possible to have two cars. She said she'll fix and hanged up without any apologies. I still wonder if I can receive a fixed receipt. As you know, you have many options in down town. Don't waste your money in vain. read more

Very nice hotel. Great service. I love the app. I checked myself in, and used my phone to unlock the parking gate, elevator, and my hotel room. Technology :) I like how they do breakfast during the pandemic. You walk up, tell them what you want (breakfast burrito or sandwich? Cereal and milk? Orange juice? Muffins? And more!) It all comes in a bag you can take back to your room or wherever you're headed. Of course I wish there was no pandemic and everything was like it used to be, but I also wish I was a millionaire and that's not gonna happen either, so I can deal with it. What choice do I have? After initially staying in another Hilton property that did not meet our expectations we landed at Hampton Riverside. I am so glad that I did a little research and found this spot. We arrived on Labor Day. We asked how old the property is and was advised it was about 9 months old. We also asked to view a room. We were taken to room 425 by the manager of housekeeping. She was very friendly, even telling us all about the property. For example, you must scan your key card to use the elevator going up, the rooms have motion sensors to conserve energy. Additionally she told us about the downtown area and everything it has to offer. After viewing the room, we checked in to room 425. The location of this hotel can't be beat. It is next door to The Food Lab which is a food court with several dining options. There are also several dine in restaurants within walking distance. They also have a cool photo op in front of the building. The artwork is a tree with swings that you can sit in. There is a camera on front. If you put your phone number in it and hit enter it will take your pic and text it to you. The hotel itself looks new. The common area is small, but sufficient. There is also an outside sitting area with a pool. However, this area along with the gym were closed due to COVID. The gym did open up on the last day of our stay. They offered to go breakfast that was pretty basic: oatmeal, yogurt, microwaveable breakfast sandwiches. Our room was standard, but met our needs. There was a king size bed, desk area, fridge and microwave. The bathroom was a decent size. I like the farm mirror door that was utilized for both the bathroom and closet area. We requested that the smart energy saving feature be turned off. A few things that need improvement: the shower was not clean. There were strands of hair in the shower, and the sink drain was not functioning properly. We also had to request toilet tissue several days. The last night we requested trash bags. They are not providing room service so I had placed the trash outside the door earlier in the day. There was not effort made to bring new bags. We never received those trash bags. The hotel has a nice parking lot, and it's $19 a day. Overall the hotel is a good bang for your buck. read more

Although I travel often to Southern California for work, ironically I have never had the opportunity to experience downtown Riverside. While booking my travel for an upcoming work-related trip to Riverside, I found an intriguing article focused on the development of downtown Riverside and its growing population of Millennials. Since I fall into the millennial category, I was excited to see what downtown Riverside had to offer. When I arrived at the Hampton Inn, I was kindly greeted by the front desk clerk. She quickly checked me in and processed my payment for parking (the hotel has on-site parking for $19 per night with in & out privileges). Before walking to my room, I observed and admired the clean and minimalist-styled "commons" area where the hotel's free breakfast was administered. I also noticed that there was plenty of comfortable seating for folks needing to handle business-related needs or simply for relaxing and watching a program on one of their many televisions. When I walked into my room I was greeted by a beautiful view of downtown Riverside. Similar to the "commons" area, the room had a very clean, uncluttered appearance. After taking a quick shower, I walked downstairs and was surprised to see that the hotel was offering a free "nacho social." For a couple of hours, those staying at the hotel were able to mingle and snack on nachos. When I inquired about local restaurants, the front desk clerk recommended that I check out the Riverside Food Court. Apparently this was not your average food court, it was deemed to be a premium food court. After enjoying a delicious meal at Monty's Good Burger (review coming soon), I decided to explore downtown Riverside. On my journey I encountered a CVS, Starbucks, a beautiful park, the blueprint for a gorgeous library, and Riverside Community College's Culinary Academy (you can actually watch the students prepare meals from a street view window). My stay at Hampton Inn Riverside Downtown was very relaxing. The free breakfast was decent and removed the stress that I often experience looking for breakfast (I highly recommend trying the Pomegranate juice that they provide every morning). If you're looking for good customer service, a clean environment, a relaxing stay, and close proximity to various forms of entertainment-I highly recommend booking a room at Hampton Inn Riverside Downtown! read more

I checked in and woke up with bites all over my body went down stairs to tell the front desk and show them all my bites and asked be moved rooms and for them to inspect the room for bed bugs because I did move the bed to inspect it myself and took pictures and showed them what looked like bed bugs to me upon inspection they said they didn't see anything and told me I was probably allergic to the detergent that was used to wash the sheets which I know was not the case and I told them it didn't make any sense in turn made them get very aggravated with me and giving me attitude and talking back to me in a manner that was so unprofessional. read more

I called to make a reservation with the Sale Dir; and left three (3) messages with her. NO contact from her by either email or phone call until I called back a 4th time for a direct response. I finally had to get a hold of the front desk and she got the Sales Dir on the phone only to tell me that she tried to email me - which I have yet to receive - and informed me that she is sold out for the dates requested. Customer service would be to pick up the phone to call (especially after I left 3 messages) and since I wanted to book 14 rooms to spend over $2500+ at their hotel. Great customer service from the front desk person. Truly appreciate her assistance. read more

It's a new hotel!! I was probably the first guest to stay in my room. No just kidding, not that new, but new enough where the rest of the hotel on the first floor isn't fully complete yet. As any Hampton Inn there's always breakfast provided. A plus for me! They have juice, cereal, pastry, sausage, egg, yogurt and more. The room was so spacious!!! I had a king bed and there was a lot of space which is nice. Parking at the hotel is not free as it is gated, which is nice touch. It is also open to guests and the public for $18/day. read more

Central location. Price was reasonable. Freewv charging in huge gated parking lot. You have to swipe key to enter and leave everytime. Free breakfast. No happy hour anymore. They have this beer machine but it is about $10 or so a glass. Better deal just going to CVS down street and put libations in room fridge. read more

Three night stay at this hotel on business. Not the greatest overall experience. The bed is too firm & the AC didn't work very well. Noise level was as expected along the downtown strip (loud). The pool was shocked & over-chlorinated. My family was locked out of the building from the pool side when the automatic door failed, which many others on the property experienced. My one big negative was the parking fee. $29 a night to park in a neighboring parking garage that wasn't even on the hotel premises. This was due to their parking area being under construction. That inconvenience alone should waive any parking fees for their customers. The only reason I didn't give this hotel 1-star was because of their continental breakfast, which was actually pretty good compared to many other hotels that offer breakfast that I've experienced. I would suggest waiting until they finish construction on their parking area before staying here. read more

DO NOT STAY HERE. How can I count the ways in which this hotel is awful? 1. There is no way to use the stairs going up unless security lets you in. 2. If you arrive early, they will not prioritize getting your room done early and will make you wait until 3:00. 3. They will state that valet or self park is $29 (no price difference) and then charge you $33/night for valet and will not reverse the charge. 4. They will kick you and your 2 friends out of the lobby at 10:30, saying it is closed. (Website says 24-hour lobby). 5. They will say that you will get one free drink/day and then have the tap closed for the entirety of your stay. DO NOT STAY HERE. IT IS A RIP OFF. There is a Marriott right across the street. read more

My stay was fine. The location was great and the room was clean and spacious. A month after my stay the hotel charged me $250 in false damages. They sent my employer a photograph of a lighter and joint and accused me of smoking Marijuana in the room. I don't smoke, never have. Also, I leave hotel rooms clean. I even make the bed. This false accusation led to an investigation at my work and defamation to my character. I wonder how many times that photo has been used to make money off of unsuspecting guests. Manager won't even apologize. Terrible. read more

Was absolutely NOT expecting this place to be so freaking cool. From the outside the hotel.does not look like it's going to give you much. Or at least it did not seem like it was gonna be a big deal, specially because we got it at such a good rate, better rate then the more "luxurious", and the lower class hotels downtown. So let's just say I was not excited about this place. But I got out voted ‍ They have parking, One vehicle per room. First off you half to rent a room/have a room key to even get the elevators to move. After hours, you can't get in the front door without a key. That's a big step up in the hotel game for downtown Riverside. The rooms are bright and clean. We had a view of downtown Main st. The 3rd floor and it was an awesome view. Specially if your a party person or people watcher. We absolutely loved it. It's fun, it's new-ish... did I mention that it was clean? It was very clean. I like what they bring to the table. I have never had such a terrible experience in all my years of travelling. The front desk called us liars, we had no housekeeping, no shampoo or soap for four days. My daughter left her favourite hoody on the bed and we knew where it was. We called after checkout realizing it was on the bed and they did nothing to help us. I have asked several times for the general manager to contact me but nobody responds. read more

New Hotel on soft opening so I will not be picky about a few things not working yet. Very new and clean. Plenty of usb outlets, good bedding, nice pool and gym.
