Really nice staff close to a lot of things really enjoyed the pool and hottub and good small gym breakfast was good

So walking into the hotel, I really liked. It was clean, organized and looked sort of new. Maybe it was remodeled. The girl at the front desk was super nice and friendly and checked us in very quickly. She offered us water and snacks. The room was very nice too. We had a queen bed with a tv in the room, coffee machine and fridge. No smell or anything in the room. Here were the problems however. The bed was lumpy along with the pillows. I woke up the following morning with back pain. They had told us breakfast was included so we went downstairs and again were disappointed. There were scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, cereal and fruit. Juice and coffee as well. The only good thing was probably the coffee. The eggs tasted like they were out of a carton and watered down. So my advice would be skip the breakfast and go somewhere else, which we later did. read more

Stayed at the Fairfield Inn Marriott and unfortunately had another disappointing experience. The hotel only has one washer and one dryer for the entire property, and as you can see, the dryer was completely broken front panel off, clearly out of service. What made it worse wasn't just the inconvenience, but the response from staff. When I brought it up, there was no urgency, no apology, and no effort to provide a solution or alternative. For a hotel that caters to travelers who often rely on laundry during longer stays, this is a pretty basic amenity to neglect. Not to mention it's COIN OPERATED. Marriott has gone WAY down hill. Hilton would NEVER LOL. If you're planning to stay here for more than a night or two, don't count on being able to do laundry. Between the lack of functional equipment and the indifferent staff response, it's just not reliable. read more

By far one of the best experiences at any hotel. The staff was beyond accommodating. Everyone was so friendly and kind. I stayed with my sister and nephew. My nephew is on the spectrum and all the staff has been so kind to him. Every front desk agent no matter the time of day has been amazing and helpful. The staff has made this stay phenomenal. This is the second time that we stayed at this property. It was as good as the first stay. The staff are very friendly and nice. James was awesome. He always greeted us when we walked by the desk. Melanie checked is in and was very efficient and friendly. Dana was also nice too. She worked the swing shift and always recognized us in the lobby. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. The breakfast buffet is very good. They even have charging stations on the premises. If you're going to stay in Moreno Valley, you should try this hotel out. read more

Came and stayed while visiting for work. The hotel was well maintained and clean, including the room. The staff was nice and friendly. Aware in a "shopping area", the area around the hotel was quiet and not busy. The breakfast was decent and typical. Various breads, bagels, and pastries. Oatmeal with quite a lot of topping options. No upgrade for a titanuim on a tuesday ? -- typically i don't always ask or even mind. but this is a LARGE hotel with barely any cars parked outside and the larger lady in the front was not very kind when i asked. I have been traveling for a few days and had a lot of things to carry so more room would have been so great at this fairfield...so asked at check in as i did not receive a response through the chat when I did the online check in a day earlier, and she said "there wasn't anything available at all" not so friendly. It was a business stay and I wasn't going to make a stink about it but thought other Marriott members especially who travel with a lot of items for business would like to know. It's a 4 year old building and the rooms are new. The TV works and the internet isn't slow. I don't feel like the general area is super safe, but keep to the hotel and it's fine. The parking lot is in the same as Winco and there's a Costco with nearby restaurant. Not sure if I would go out of my way to stay again if I was working in Riverside but overall not a bad location read more

From the moment we checked in, James Ross was very accommodating and pleasant; the epitome of customer service with a smile. Room was nice and clean. Not sure how helpful this review will be as I typically am used to hotels with a desk clerk that would have been better cast as an undertaker, carpets that are about every shade of vomit,coaintings featuring artwork that looks like something someone fished out of the shower drain, rattling vents , shower controls you cant figure out, USB power ports that don't work, and noisey hallways So here goes The staff is friendly, helpful, and courteous . Big points for that in a day and age when lots of people in the service industry appear rude and dehumanizing these days. Also, good is the free breakfast The hotel and rooms are clean. I won't address the comfort of couches or beds as that is subjective. The location is good as it is walking distance from Winco, Costco, and a slew of restaurants . That said- The curtains don't quite close all the way. There is a gap in the middle. Is this so I can watch for people trying to steal the catalytic converter out of my car? ( I mean, it is Moreno Valley). The walls are very thin. While i didn't have a hockey team in the hall, my neighbor had the TV on loud enough to be picked up by the space station Free Wi-Fi only if you are a member. I was, but there were so many steps and passwords , it was too much of a hassle, especially for an unsecured network. The view? Every room has a pristine view of the parking lot. The back of the hotel has a great view of Winco and some random person wandering around the parking lot every night to help you feel safe. Lastly, you can't use most of your lights or USB power ports without putting your key card in a designated slot. That fact is not communicated very well. I was told there is a state law that mandates this practice. That turned out not to be true Lastly, The prices are bad enough considering this is Moreno Valley and Not Rome. But it's absolutely appalling when they add all kinds of fees, and then tax said fees. If that's not enough, there are all kinds of tourism taxes. Again, tourism? It's Moreno Valley. Not very touristy. But I will say that at least I felt safe inside the hotel and protected from the elements outside in the dark read more

First time staying here. My customer recommended this hotel while I was in town for business. Clean hotel, front desk staff friendly. Building is secured and you need a key card to enter, safety first which I appreciated. Room was clean and updated. Bed was comfortable with many pillows. There was a desk and chair. Small fridge, microwave and coffee/tea station. Large remodeled bathroom with large walk in shower. Buffett style breakfast in the mornings, hot eggs, bacon/sausage, waffle station etc. Overall great stay will be back. read more

When we arrived GPS took us to the back entrance, which is so underwhelming. But once we got our bearings and figured it out, both my husband and I were so impressed with the hotel and the staff. Checkin was so easy and the convenience of EV chargers- complimentary for paid guests. Wow!! This was a plus for us. The room was so nice and clean. It did also have chargers for smart devices in case you forget yours. They also offer a continental breakfast, the food was all fresh and nicely presented. What we are was good, eggs, bagel, and oj. Stayed here during a clinical rotation in Riverside. Beautiful hotel, gym, pool, and room. Complimentary breakfast starting at 630am with pretty wide variety: waffles, eggs, sausage, fruit, coffee, yogurt, bagels, etc. I'm not sure if the walls here are extremely thin, or if the people next to my room were just really loud. The front desk kindly asked them to bring the noise down after I called at 1am. Super friendly and accommodating staff. read more

We had to stay here for a night when our AC went out on one of the hottest days of the summer. The security is great, I felt safe. What a lovely stay we had at this hotel last night! The front desk agent was really nice. He was really welcoming and ensuring that we were happy. He even offered us coffee and tea. I cannot stress enough how wonderful this staff is. I stay here a lot for long periods of time and they make you feel like family. James is the best. He makes every effort to get to know you and take care of your needs. Robin is like having a caring mom in the morning to make sure you are ready for your day (and well fed). Above and beyond. The breakfast was different every morning. They had spinach quiche one day and Belgium pearl sugar waffles the next. We stayed her 3 nights and the front desk clerks were all so nice and greeted us each time we returned. I even asked for ketchup when our take out did not give us and they found us some!! My sister and I stayed at the Fairfield by Marriot for a wedding. We had booked two nights with two queen beds. We checked inn all went well, we where treated nicely and headed up to our room to stay Friday night. We where both so tired and just wanted to get to bed since the wedding was the next day. Unfortunately that didnt happened. When we got into the room all seemed clean until we found out otherwise. As I was trying to get in to bed I removed the covers , I discovered the bedding was not clean and there where pubic hairs everywhere and other nasty stuff. I was so disturbed , never have we ever experienced this in any hotel I have stayed at. We called the the reception downstairs, she was said "well there is nothing I can do, unfortunately we are low in staff. If you want, I can give you sheets so you can change it or you can wait for the night manager to come and change it for you. but it will be at least an hour. It was so inconvenient, we where tired and it was late , and all we wanted to do was get in bed. We had to stay up until the night manager came around 10 ish. She was nice and apologized for the inconvenience. She said she would take care of it and changed everything herself and said she was going to leave a note so they would give us a discount because of this situation. Unfortunately when we checked out Sunday morning, the staff said there was nothing written in their system and that they will take our number and call us back. Until now, it has been about 3 weeks we haven't received a call or any email in regards to this horrible experiance we had . We will never stay there again!!! read more

Walls are paper thin!!! You can hear everyone's TV, radio, and conversation. They place is way to noisy. We had to call the front desk to get a room down the hall to turn off their music. Worst yet, it is an energy savings building. The place is lacking outlets. You cannot keep your phone besides each end of the bed. I paid just over $150 for this room and it sounds like a Motel 6! I mean it's 12:30 AM and I can't sleep because of all the noise! Now I am hearing loud sex. LOL!!! read more

This was a great find for an overnight business trip. The front desk and housekeeping staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Rooms are large, bright and very clean. It's on a busy street, but it was very quiet in the room. You need a key to get into the back door which made me feel very safe. Simple breakfast is provided. We booked this hotel last minute, wasn't sure what to expect. Arrived and learned it was brand new and just opened 5 weeks ago! It was definitely the nicest motel I've ever been to! The lobby has tons of snacks and beverages you can buy 24 hours a day. There's a really nice breakfast area for free breakfast in the morning. The rooms have microwaves and mini fridges. Very comfy beds, very clean, nice extra large flat screen TV with built in streaming services (Netflix, HBO, etc.). Huge bathroom, huge shower. WiFi is solid and does not require a password. Air conditioning works great. The staff is super nice and friendly. Located near a very large suburban shopping center with tons of restaurants and stores. Market close by. This hotel is made wonderful by the amazing people working here. Each and every one of them was extremely helpful and kind. In all of my travels for work and for leisure, I have to say this hotel had the best staff. The handyman (forgive me for not getting your name. It is rude and unacceptable) went above and beyond. He took extra care with an issue we were having in our bathroom. He was extremely polite and was careful to make sure the room/bathroom was kept clean. The location is great. Very beautiful and quite. Pool is small but never packed, great for laps and the hot tub is very roomy. Rooms are very clean and overall a very clean place. The Fairfield Inn located off Eucalyptus is a great place to stay for the evening. The staff and other guests that I've interacted with have all been pleasant and I have no complaints. At first blush the hotel was very nice. The place is beautifully decorated and clean. The people at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean and nice and large to accommodate two adults and three children (2 queen beds and a pull out sofa). There was a vomit smell in the entry way and closet, which we sadly didn't really notice until after the kids were all unpacked and set up for online school. Didn't want to move rooms so we sprayed it with air freshener and bought a gel air freshener. But there were some serious issues. You can use COVID as an excuse all you want, but I don't appreciate being made to feel like a refugee. They advertise a free breakfast. You get a frozen Jimmy Dean sandwich with a blueberry muffin, orange, apple juice, and yogurt. It's the same every morning, no variety. But that isn't my complaint. We stayed four nights and the first morning we got breakfast for five, the second day just four of us wanted it, the third day we didn't ask for any at all, and on day four, when I went to the desk to ask for breakfast for five, I was told we only get two per room. I asked if that meant we were supposed to split up two sandwiches among five people (I asked as kindly as I could make a question like that sound!). The clerk said he would give me one more and talked about how big the meals were. To be fair, he was very nice, but I'm sorry, I just don't think it's his place to tell us how to divvy up three meals among five people. The whole situation was embarrassing and made me feel like a beggar. If you're willing to book a family of five to a room, then you should be prepared to offer the same amenities to each person. That "free" breakfast was also paid for by the cost of the room and, given what was included, is clearly cheaper than what they normally would offer. Please don't argue that money is tight for everyone right now...this isn't frugal, this is cheap. That was the event that prompted this bad review. Prior to that I was already unhappy with the fact that the housekeeping was nonexistent. They told us at check-in that they were offering touch-up service only, stating specifically that we would be brought towels and have our trash emptied. I'm totally cool with that, however no one ever asked us if we needed anything and no one ever, ever, came by unless we asked. We had to ask for towels, to have our trash picked up, for toilet paper, and for soaps. We followed the example of other guests and started leaving bags of trash and piles of towels in the hall. When I asked for fresh towels for five at the desk, I was eyeballed incredulously while they asked my room number and looked us up to verify that there were actually five of us in our room. I respect looking us up, but the overall feel was rather insulting. The one time housekeeping cleaned our room (after I requested them to) was a third awkward situation. I asked at the front desk for a quick vacuum and towels. The lady very nicely told me that housekeeping would be up - this particular woman was always super sweet and helpful (younger woman with really long nails). Then for some reason the manager felt a need to enter into the conversation and seemed intent on talking me out of having my room touched up. I informed him that I had three children and muffin crumbs on the floor and they used all the towels (the original set of four). He wasn't immediately convinced, I literally had to make a case to have a quick vacuum and some towels. He then radioed housekeeping in front of me and made it all look like a serious imposition. Housekeeping apparently was right near our room and immediately went in, which was nice. Then they radioed down because we had personal pillows on our beds and I had to go take them off because they wouldn't touch them. Ok, I thought that was silly since they're touching everything else our bodies touched and they wear gloves, but I kept that to myself and went up to move the pillows. Once in the room I got another inquisition about my "many" needs and was again put in a position to explain the simple fact that all I asked for was some towels and a quick vacuum. They wanted to make the beds, which was nice, but please don't make me feel like I'm asking too much. As I thanked the two ladies and went to leave, one said, "You have some money on the bed." I'm like, yeah, that was for you. (Is a tip not customary anymore??) She said, "Oh, I'll give it to her." I don't know who "her" is but she picked up the $5 bill with the tips of her fingers like it was gross and tossed it onto the TV stand. No eye contact, no thank you. I walked out and kept my frustration to myself. All in all, too many amenities were shorted (did the fitness area really have to be closed at this stage in the game?) and we felt like refugees putting our trash and towels in the hall with many others and asking for food. I don't recommend this place if you wish to maintain your dignity. read more
