5-2-2021 Sunday This hotel is in a good location next to the City Center Bishop Ranch , Target, Philz Coffee , tons of restaurants . Here's the cons - this hotel is pretty outdated , the carpet is old , the whole interior is old. Also there's no microwave, no coffee maker. Parking is not free and we're not in the city. It's $12 a night. No breakfast. Pool /gym are opened to a limited number of guests at a time due to COVID. 2 inch wide balcony. Like I mentioned it's a very good location conveniently located by shops (Target, Sephora, West Elm, etc) restaurants and coffee shops. I'll have to say we had no issues here. The lounge is nice and welcoming - I didn't eat so can't talk to their food. We ca e to stay for a holiday party nearby. - clean room - easy heater/ax unit - Comfy bed - fridge in room - Love their tea tree oil shampoo, conditioner and body wash + hand lotion - full length mirror!! I thInk my only downfall was how hot the bathroom got when I curled my hair. I had showered before so my hair and makeup could be done and a curl was all I needed - I do run hot but oooh that was warm lol Shower was good no issues and clean! Staff was also friendly when we asked for directions at 11pm and late checkout at 10am. All in all great stay! read more

I just had the most horrifying experience at this hotel. A month before my stay, I made a reservation under a room block. 1. at check in, I walked up to the ADA accessible window. The customer service person refused to talk to me at the accessible window and decided to flirt with my partner instead. I had to raise my voice to stop this disgusting and humiliating behavior. 2. we went to bed around 12:30am on 10/10 (room 565). There was loud and continuous noise from a party on our floor. Because my fiance' had fallen asleep and suffers from sleep apnea, I decided to quietly sit in my bed and not call the lobby to complain about the noise. At ~2:00am, the door slammed again. My fiance' woke up, was really startled, and realized he wouldn't be able to go back to sleep. 3. at that point, we decided to pack our bags and leave the hotel. On our way out, we noticed that our room was right across from a "hospitality suite". That's where the noise and slamming of doors were coming from, plus a pile of trash (incidentally, a friend who stayed on the same floor told us that the party woke him up at 6:30am). 4. we tried checking out from the hotel at 2:30am. The customer service person refused to process our checkout, to print our bill, and again to use the ADA accessible window (different person, same illegal behavior). Not only that, but when we complained about the noise he scolded us for not calling front desk (he refused to send someone to the floor). 5. cherry on top: I never received a bill from my stay, but my credit card shows a charge of 156$ instead of 108$ (my friends from the same room block were charged 108$ and 120$ respectively). I'm requesting a full refund of my bill, with apologies. San Ramon Marriott failed to deliver its basic service (a quite night's sleep), and its customer service representatives exhibited rude, unprofessional and illegal behavior. read more

I had a class over the weekend that started from 9-530pm and the thought of having to wake up early, get ready and drive back and forth left me weary so I decided to search for a place to crash for a couple of days until the class was over. So after much searching and consideration I chose this place as it was close to where my class was. Sad to read the reviews other people had, I'm glad I didn't share those experiences. Again, my needs were rather simple so this is what I based on my review on. 1-Cleanliness: I do check sheets and floor for bed bugs and random hair that's not mine. Found none 2-Room functionality : tv, coffee maker/coffee/tea, couch that pulls out to accommodate another body, blow dryer, bathroom, clean towels, desk, king sized bed...check 3-Toiletries: glad I brought my own. Way overpriced place to stay. Needs updates...... Badly. Charged me $339 a night for a room with nasty.... Stained carpet and dead insects inside the picture frame in the bathroom {see photos}. Hotel offered me 1000 marriott points.... Which was a nice gesture.... But still charged me full pop on the room. I contacted the hotel manager and was promptly broomed. NEVER EVER AGAIN will I stay here! EVAAAARRR!!! Service - above and beyond poor! I called to have a room reserved and before I hung up, I asked for a confirmation number but the gal on the other end said that the room was already reserved and waiting for us. Sure enough when I got there, the room was NOT reserved when we tried to check in. The receptionist told me to call the number where I had reserved the room so I stepped outside to place the call. I got THE SAME receptionist who told me that our room was already reserved. At that time I walked back in to the hotel while SHE and I were on the phone and I said, "I was just in here and you told me I had no reservations!" (the dumb@** just giggled at me). I should have just scooped up the kids and walked out, but I didn't!!! My fault! Earlier on the phone, I had asked for a portable fridge since I needed one for the milk, but when I got in the room, there was no fridge. I called the front desk and was told that it was first come first serve. I argued that I had requested for one HOURS ago on the phone and the lady on the phone assured me that there would be one in the room since I have babies. I told them we were leaving, but within minutes there was a knock on the door and it was two women delivering the portable fridge. BAD communication and awful service! read more

Any hotel that charges 2.30 for coffee that is usually free at other places, has rooms that directly overlook and share an odor from the garbage dumpster, and that has cleaning folks who miss random garbage in the room gets no more than two stars. Checked in here for work. Show up late in the evening and parking is a nightmare. Your room will be somewhat outdated, with modest furnishings and a small flat screen tv. The bathrooms area is very small, with your small sink area outside the door to the tub and toilet. The toilet/tub room is very small. I opened the curtains to find that my room directly overlooked the dumpsters. I also noticed used paper cups on the window sill that the cleaning folks missed. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you run out of options with the other area hotels. read more

A perfect place to stay for family or sports team gatherings. I don't always sleep well in very many hotels, The Westin I love because of their heavenly beds and nice hotels. In this Courtyard San Ramon it had to be the beds and just the relaxing clean inviting communal areas. Use your HiltonHHonors membership ask for breakfast bundle. We had a great deal with a convenient full breakfast included. Ideal since we were busy at a local soccer tourney and needed to be at the field early. Friendly, spotless, relaxing, with lots of areas to gather with friends both inside and outside. The pool area and patio sitting area is nice. Just inside from the pool area they have a large family style room equipped with board games, fireplace and a large FlatScreen TV. There is also a place to print out your boarding pass while you sip on fruit infused ice tea. Make sure you have a Friday night dinner at Clementine's within walking distance next door. Their fried chicken is yum. One negative is that for the 3 nights we stayed, their breakfast service was very slow. So try to get to breakfast early if you have to be somewhere. Well, I am a little disappointed. This did not meet the Marriott standard, not even the Courtyard standard. Courtesy and cleanness are of the main things I would say Marriott properties are known for, but at this hotel they were the exception. I have had better stats at a Super 8 in Texas. The late check in must have gotten the front desk lady by surprise in the middle of her sleep, or something, as she was not very happy of seeing me. Believe me, when my flights get delayed 3 hours, and I check in at 2:30 in the morning or so (which was like 4:30am my time), after having spent the whole day working.... I am not happy either. BUT, it is not only what you set, but how you say it (and body language does count). That aside, a main issue with my stay was the noise, and I don't think they can do anything about it as the noise comes from the highway. Could not sleep. Might be better if your room does not face the highway. Not sure. Long black hairs in my shower wall... eeew Nastiness on my cups (I guess I won't drink from those). Hairs on my bed (forgot to take pictures of those). Come on, people!!! I have to say that the lady at the checkout was very nice, and unlike many other reviews I have read, I paid less than $200 for 2 nights (should have paid 50% more or so and stayed across the street at the real Marriott). read more

I am giving this five stars because of Daniel and Quintin in the bistro as well as the front desk staff. It's all about the people, and this place has it. They made our stay so enjoyable. Daniel and Quentin were our servers and cooks- great food and service. Fun conversation, friendly, excellent recommendations on the menu-- I really can't say enough. I'd go back to see them even if I wasn't staying at the hotel. The Front desk staff was also very friendly and accommodating. They had an issue with the system generating keys when I checked in, but they escorted me to my room and brought up my key within an hour. The shuttle service is also awesome. Five star treatment at a less expensive hotel. Nice job all!! Made me feel like my work trip was at a five star location. Excellent customer service all around--not a chain feeling at all despite the price (which is the best of both worlds). Keep up the good work!! read more

Stayed here over Thanksgiving for my cousin's wedding at the Bridges Golf Course a few miles down the road. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, parking was plentiful and easy and the rooms we decent. The property can us a little updating but the rate and location it was a good value. This location is centrally located right next tot he free way and there was a Chevy's across the parking lot. There were also plenty of restaurants, whole foods and target less than a mile away. Im a loyal Marriott rewards member and it met my expectations but didn't exceed it. read more

We were in town for a convention, and no rooms were available at the main hotel. This one, as has become something of a tradition for the convention in question, caught the overflow. A room was not immediately ready for us when we arrived; but we'd gotten in very early, so that's excusable. When we finally got our room two hours later, the otherwise very nice, competent, and professional staff somehow missed the "feather-free" note (I'm allergic) on my registration; that's less so. Additionally, mini-fridges don't seem to come standard in guest rooms, and the swimming pool was untenably cold--two more strikes against this particular hotel versus the main Marriott. In the establishment's defense: the rooms were clean, spacious, and had a nice layout. Nonetheless, I'll be doing my best to get in at the main hotel next time. read more

After numerous attempts contacting Marriott corporate about the issue that we had faced they just swept it under the rug and never resolved it. Agent: Ross Manager: Lisa Definney Time Appox: 130pm 03/28/2016 My brother was on a business trip from Los Angeles and had rooms booked at Marriott San Ramon. Upon check in my name was registered to my brother's room by so that it can be accessed the following day. The room WAS registered by the agent that checked him in (Marusha). Today I drove out to the hotel to check in. I had notified the agent, Ross that my name should be registered under Steve Chhuor. He pulled up the name and said that my name was not registered. In disbelief I explained that I have messages that it was done by my brother and also proof of reservation. I assured him that the staff must have made a mistake or forgotten to add my name to the room as there was no way that I would not be able to get in. It was a planned business trip. He continued to insist that if the agent had put my name down it would be recorded and that WE made a mistake. Instead of apologizing, I was lectured about privacy concerns, which I understand and confirmed that I understand, however, I had told them there must be a mistake. Instead, the agent requested that I contact my brother or have them call the front desk. Not only is this inconvenient and disruptive of his work trip which is during work hours. They were very much aware that he was on a business trip. However, they did not care about this and continuously requested that I get in touch with him or have him call the hotel directly. After going around in circles and being asked to wait until my brother can call in, I requested to speak with the on site manager, Lisa as I thought it might be helpful speaking with an individual that is more experience. However, it was to my disappointment that this was not the case. Lisa was just as unhelpful and even more incompetent and lied on numerous accounts. During my correspondences in person with Lisa, I had insisted that I was registered and actually had a text from my brother at that very instances. He confirmed that he did add me to the room. Lisa still would not provide me access to the room. She asked for the company he was with and noted that there was a group under his name. After becoming very upset, she finally permitted me a room key to room #219 and allowed the text message between my brother as proof that I can gain access. Upon entering Room 219, it was very obvious that this was not my brother's room. It had evidence that it was being occupied by a female. I took a snap shot just to confirm that he was not sharing a room with a female colleague. He was not. I ended up going back downstairs and notified the front desk, Ross that I was provided the wrong room key. He double checked and found that it was in fact the wrong room key. My brother had booked three rooms, however, he was staying in Room 245. It was during this time that Ross mentioned that my name WAS actually listed on there for access all along. I finally got the room key and told my brother I had settled in. During this time he said he spoke to the hotel after the previous incidents and me getting into the wrong room. He said LISA had said that I provided them with the initial room number. I am absolutely infuriated about this and the fact that your two staff would not take responsibility for their negligence when overseeing guest reservations. I never once told Lisa nor Ross which room number my brother stayed in- I didn't even know until I went to the room that Lisa gave me the key for and it was wrong. I only provided them with my brother's name so that they can look it up in the system and provide me the key to the room he was staying in. When I had emailed Lisa about her actions, again, instead of taking responsibility for providing me the keys to someone else room, she instead replied back and said that her agent said I provided him with the room number. This is highly unprofessional and extremely disrespectful on all counts. This was a terrible check in experience and your staff procedures and customer services needs to be reviewed. 1) Staff was too lazy to look through all the reservations and told me my name wasn't on there. 2) Staff provided me room key to the wrong room! This is a huge security issue (especially for staff members that persistently lectured me on guest privacy) 3) This is unprofessional and embarassing. We had to reach out to his colleague that is staying in room 219 to let them know that I accidentally went in. 4) Manager lies about correspondences and would not take responsibility for their actions. Instead anything that went wrong she blamed her agent, my brother, or I. I would like to request a formal review that you guys reach out to the staff, especially the manager Lisa as this is something that no guest should experience. read more

In early March, my family from Arizona was here to help celebrate a special occasion. This family namely was my Grandmother, Mother and Uncle. My Grandma used Priceline or Hotels.com and reserved 3 rooms for 3 nights. All of them have been in this area before and all of them have typically stayed at the Sierra Suites in both 2009 and 2010 for major events I have had in the area (wedding and daughter's Bat Mitzvah). At Sierra Suites, all the rooms are suites (hence the name), breakfast is included, a gift shop is opened all the time, the business center is in a private area, the disabled rooms are really very nice and the customer service is stellar. At the Courtyard Marriott, breakfast is about $12.00 (with a Marie Calendar's within walking distance, this is outrageous) or can be included in the room fee for a substantial upgrade. The customer service is surly, the rooms are sparse and the business center consists of one computer in the main lobby area. To top off the experience, they decided to paint the driveway during the time of their visit and my Grandma who has to use a walker couldn't even be dropped off in front of the hotel lobby doors, but from a parking spot further down. I am still baffled as to why any hotel/motel, etc. would choose to paint a driveway area on a Friday and Saturday (presumably the busiest days/nights at hotels hence the higher price for rooms during this time). Needless to say, no one was impressed with these accommodations and next time no one will balk again at paying a little more for the Sierra Suites or doing the Priceline thing for the "real" Marriott just across the freeway. read more

On the plus side: clean rooms. Easy check-in. They gave me a room not facing the freeway. Told me that it was $10/night for parking but he gave me a pass and waived the fee since I was only staying one night. The hotel seemed nice, clean and quiet. However, it turned out terrible. In the middle of the night, the people across the hall started a loud party with booming-loud music, opening/closing their door, many people knocking there, loud laughing and voices, etc. Woke me up from a sound sleep... I called the front desk to ask them to see if they could do something. Nothing happened. Called several times. Nothing. I packed up and went down to the front desk and asked for a different room. They did give me another room up on the third floor. Nice and clean. Seemed quiet. Then more partying people gathered just outside the hotel entrance below my room and carried on and on and on loudly. The management did nothing. I was too exhausted to complain again. Fell asleep for a couple of hours then received a mysterious 4 AM telephone wake up call on the hotel room phone that I didn't order. I mentioned the loud partying people and the 4 am wake-up call to the person at checkout and there was no apology or recognition that it was not a good experience - She only said that wedding parties can be loud sometimes. Ugh. While I'm happy for the wedding group's joy and camraderie, they really should have had their after-party somewhere where they wouldn't wake everyone up in the middle of the night with loud music and carrying-on. Never have I had such an experience with a hotel. I would not recommend staying here. read more

The hotel was clean, had nice decor. We had a wonderful 4 night stay. When traveling with a family of 5 including a toddler the hotel was gracious enough to make sure we were comfortable and were very accommodating to our needs. I must say, Marina at the front desk offered impeccable customer service and was our rock star throughout our stay. She gave wonderful suggestions and ideas about our travel. I stayed here in the junior suite the day before my wedding.. Perfect customer service, they never bothered me once. And i did had one hell of a pre party. All the workers including the front dest, bartenders and the house maid were all super nice. I couldnt have ask to be treated better the day before my wedding. The suite had a couch, a dining area and a nice little bedroom with 2 flat screen t.v's. I also had another room connected to the suite so my friends and groomsmen can chill out too.. This is a beautiful hotel. I would definitely stay here again. The room was clean and modern. The staff was nice. The location is beautiful. The only downsides were there was no free breakfast and they do an authorization charge that seemed high. I should have asked what it would be beforehand because I didn't realize it would be so high and had to make some adjustments during my trip because of it. I thought it just meant that they needed a card to charge after I checked out in case I spent money in their bistro or something. I was never informed that a deposit charge would be made or what the amount of this would be. When you are traveling with a budget, things like this are nice to know, but everything still worked out and I'm glad I stayed in this hotel because I was very comfortable here. read more

As a road warrior, this Courtyard is very predictable. That's what I love about the Marriott properties. They are very consistent no matter where you go. For this location, I really appreciated the convenience of the location - right off the freeway and 1/2 mile from whole foods so I could pick up a healthy lunch. The bistro in the lobby was convenient place to pick up breakfast. They had many options. I liked how the main entrance was laid out. Made it easy to sit and hang out with coworkers. The computer and printer for boarding passes was convenient. The only downside - the hotel towels are so thin. Feels scratchy on the skin. Ugh. Hate that. The staff here was super friendly. Every interaction was pleasant. Great restaurant down the road: "Favorite Indian Restaurant" on San Ramon Valley rd. amazing. Also liked the Chinese food at "Pearl Garden Chinese" on Camino Ramon. Don't eat at the restaurants next door to hotel - poor quality. read more

In the time where you have basic hotels offering takeout breakfast bags and all day coffee and cookies, this place barely had ESPN in the lobby and had an upcharge for your morning coffee. No mini-fridge or microwave. Three towels for four people. And the pool is in the afternoon shade. Stay elsewhere - probably for the same price - and avoid a hotel lobby Starbucks that isn't as good as the actual Starbucks down the street anyway. Find a Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express in a nearby town. It will be worth it. read more

Hotel rooms are comparable in cleanliness. No fridge or kitchenettes available like most others however. Restaurant downstairs. Everything is overpriced. There is no complimentary breakfast or continental breakfast. I have bought beers on 2 different days during happy hour. 3.50$ drafts. Employees have no clue what they're doing. We were charged over 5$ the first round and 4$ the second round of the same beer. This hotel requires a credit card for deposits. I have a company account already with a credit card on file. They wanted my personal credit card for incidentals. This is not required. Other hotels do not require a card in this situation as I have been staying in hotels in the area for a month. The employee tried to explain MY COMPANY required me to supply a credit card. This was a lie. I explained it was hotel policy and she reluctantly agreed. I didn't want to supply my card because fraudulent charges by hotel employees is very common. The same employee told me that my card was declined after I reluctantly gave it to her. This was her second lie. I called my credit card company and they said the card was fine and didn't understand what the employee was talking about but would watch for fraudulent charges from the hotel. Lastly, I asked for a refrigerator to be supplied since I already knew the hotel had none available. The employee said she would call to supply one. After waiting 45 minutes a I gave up and went to bed. Not long after that, a non English speaking enploye knocked on my door. Unfortunately, I was using the restroom and couldn't answer the door. That's when the employee took it upon himself to open my door and let himself in with no invitation!! What if I wasn't dressed? What if I was sleeping? What if my wife wasn't dressed. I tell you that could have escalated quickly with huge consequences for the employee and the hotel and the police. read more

Very low quality, from the service to the amenities. The Bistro is incredibly slow. Dinner will take a minimum of an hour by the time the waiter takes your order and you get your food, and it's not worth the wait! Booked two queens and received two twins. My comforter and sheets were covered in stains, from wine to blood. Couldn't use the air conditioner in my room because it made a high pitch squeaking noise. Do not stay here, spring for something better. It will be worth it. read more

Pros-Nice, clean rooms. Good location. This can be said of a lot of courtyards. Cons- no refrigerator in standard king room. Most other comparable rooms at marriott have at least mini fridge. This means anything you buy from the market downstairs that is cold pretty much has to be eaten right away. Signing out towels from the front desk? And then when you're done swimming, having to either walk them back to the front desk or take then up to your room? All because there was a prior issue with athletic teams taking towels in summers past? Bad move. You never punish all future guests or make things inconvenient for them simply because of the actions of one or a few. Every single other marriott property I have been too (literally hundreds around the world) have towels out by the pool. Also, this courtyard has a pool but no jacuzzi. Certainly not the only courtyard with that scenario, but worth noting if you're planning a trip with that in mind. Finally, with the price of good rooms these days, and all the extra taxes and fees added on each night, plus the overpriced food and beverage on property, after all THAT I don't need a note in my room asking for a "tip/gratuity" for the housekeeping, when, in fact, that service should be included in the price of the room and likely already IS. Nice place. Has a food pantry but slim pickings. Had a problem with the satellite television reception. Someone came up @ 2am to try and fix it, then again in the morning. I called the hotel this afternoon to make reservations for a hotel stay next weekend. I followed the prompts where I then sat on hold for a reservations representative for 1 hour and 15 minutes. I lost patience so I hung up and and pressed zero for an operator. Why would any hotel leave someone on hold for that long? After 20 minutes you should be automatically transferred to a operator. I am forced to stay here because of a wedding. I would NEVER recommend anyone calling to make a reservation. The operator was so surprised that she didn't even apologize. I am just so disappointed. I've been to this hotel twice for business travel and appreciate the convenience to my company. However, the hotel must have been built poorly, as every noise within a 50 foot radius can be heard. I had to move rooms after the first night because I heard incessant stomping down the stairs to the exit next to my room. The hotel concierge was friendly and offered to move me to the only open room, which was handicapped accessible. Unfortunately, the shower seat doesn't stay in the upright position very well, and continually fell on me as I took showers (without me even touching it). The next two nights I was woken up by repeated opening of doors or something that sounded like it. I went out into the hallway to see what the noise was but couldn't pinpoint it. I believe it was employees entering the employee only doors two rooms away. Either way, the 530 AM wake up calls are not welcome. I am not a light sleeper, so this was not something that can be attributed to that. As far as cleanliness, comfort and amenities this place gets a 3. I doubt I'll return to this hotel when I have to travel here for work again. read more

I was surprised by this hotel. The staff is super nice and the rooms were clean. Nothing special, but it was comfy enough for one night. They have 24 hour coffee area and a little space where you can buy snacks and stuff. I forgot my toothpaste and went downstairs to buy some, but I didn't see any. I asked the front desk and they gave me a few sample packs for free. I stayed here for a wedding and didn't want to drive back all the way to SF. There was plenty of parking, fast check in and out. This Marriott Courtyard is being redesigned and upgraded - boy does it need it! The room: The bed is uncomfortable, it sags and my back hurt every morning. The carpet is disgusting. The bedding hasn't been cleaned in ages - stains on the skirt. Stains everywhere - walls, furniture, carpet. Service: They missed to clean my room 2 days. I had the sign on until 1p, but they didn't return unless I specifically stopped to ask. The sink area is extremely small. The couch in the room is completely disgusting - it hasn't been cleaned in ages and is so dingy. For Platinum members, they do not have extras. This hotel is right next to the hotel and a busy frontage road. Try to get a high room on the San Ramon Valley side to limit the noise - but forget this hotel altogether if you are a light sleeper. The buffet breakfast in the morning is great - $12 all you can eat with an omelet bar. read more

I took my two kids here for an overnight recently, here was my experience. CONS: * I called in advance to book two rooms, 1 king, and a connecting room that had two queen beds. When I arrived, they did not have two connecting rooms available - EVEN THOUGH I MADE A RESERVATION ON THE PHONE. Obviously I can't let my 3 and 5 year old stay in their own hotel room. I waited for quite a while as they tried to find something that would work for us. I want to note that the manager chose this time to leave the front desk and leave the two staffers to handle the mess. Not professional in my opinion. Eventually they upgraded me to a king "suite" with a connection to a king room. Not ideal since my two kids will keep each other up until 10pm if they are in the same bed (they talk and play). But I put one of them in the sofa bed and it worked out. The woman helping me was kind enough to comp a couple snacks for my kids. * Expired food - this has happened at other Marriott locations so I wasn't too surprised. The popcorn was 2 months past the "best buy" date and the dinner was close to the expiration date. * Within minutes of getting in our room, my kids came up to me holding leftover trash they had found. I later found another bag of trash in a cupboard. * No wifi in the room - I understand this will change after their renovation * Water in kitchen sink barely trickled out * Freezing rooms when we arrived * the heater in my room was like a car starting up every time it turned on to heat - all night. Without earplugs I don't think I would have slept well. PROS: * Two words: JASMINE and LATOYA. These two ladies were very courteous and did what they could to make my stay enjoyable. One of them even went out to get popcorn that wasn't expired! They were pleasant, professional, and kind. * Some of the points I paid with were refunded * Breakfast for the 3 of us was comped the next day ($27 value) read more

Rooms are just way too pricey for what you get. Rooms are VERY outdated with no common amenities like a mini-fridge to keep your water cold. Parking is a pain in the ass too. Have to walk .25 mile to put your dashboard pass to keep from getting towed. Staff is very friendly and the lobby is pretty nice for a Courtyard. This is more of a $180 - $220 property, but they typically charge $300+ which is a complete RIP-OFF for a basic outdated, run down room that overlooks a freeway. read more

Stayed here recently and only complaint is the close quarters of the single queen sized bed room with pull out couch. The couch is so close to the bed, that you have to watch out when getting up to take a late night bathroom break. The room was very clean, as was the hotel in general, they had a carpet cleaning crew during our visit. There is a nice lounge area with the Bistro, televisions, and computers with printers. The WiFi was great, I didn't experience any issues with Internet lagging. The staff throughout the hotel were also very friendly. There are a limited amount of channels with no dvd player, which was disappointing when stuck in the room at night. We were able to request a mini fridge which was more like a micro fridge. I'd rather of had a micro-wave instead. There is an outdoor pool, which I think was heated, as the kids swam comfortably in 75 degree weather. Some rooms came with patios and balconies as well. We didn't experience any noise issues on our visit either. Overall a pleasant stay. One star deducted for the lack of amenities (no free breakfast was a bummer). read more

The first weekend in July was a scorcher and our old place can get very hot and stuffy in the summer heat. So, we decided it would be fun to take a mini staycation and spend the night in San Ramon. We chose the Courtyard because of its affordable prices and last minute room availability. The room was very clean and well-decorated. We stayed in a King room with a pullout couch for the kids. The room was a little cramped for four people, but would have been perfect for two. We spent the afternoon playing in the pool to keep cool. In the morning, we enjoyed breakfast downstairs. Instead of a continental spread or a buffet, you order your entree from the cafe and they bring out your meal. It's definitely worth it to pay for the breakfast rate if you have 2 or more in your room, as we would have paid more than double for breakfast had we opted out. The reason I'm giving this place 5 stars is because we received exemplary customer service. We had a problem with our car in the morning and the front desk staff not only assisted us with the problem, but they also gave us a free late check-out. read more

Horrible marriot! For one when my boyfriend and checked in we were asked if we wanted no new towels and our room not cleaned in order to go "green". We said no we want new towels and our room cleaned. So we get back to our room not cleaned no new towels!!!!! What part of we wanted our room cleaned did they not get!
