Had a nice stay at a very reasonable price here. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. They even offer a local shuttle (24 hr notice), which I was able to schedule and take to the nearby BART station. The hotel itself is fairly small, but nice. They have a bar in the lobby and offer a nice complimentary breakfast of hot food, fresh fruit, etc. it is in a great location right off the highway, close to the Dublin BART station, and in a decent shopping mall with plenty of restaurants and shops. There is also a small fitness center and outdoor pool. The rooms are spacious with a large couch / sitting area separate from the bed area. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. They don't provide much for room amenities other than hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a small single serve coffee maker. This is a small hotel located inside the shopping center between Dublin Blvd and Hacienda Drive in Dublin . It has outdoor swimming pool and fitness center . The place is compact with modern design and very comfortable lounge and bedroom . The staffs are very friendly and helpful. There is cute dinning area , easy access to microwave , snack bar , TV , restaurant,etc . Rooms are spacious and super clean . East access to 580 and 680 Highway . Within walking distance to nice restaurant like Urban Plates , fine food market ( Whole Foods) , Barns & Noble Bookstore, a cinema and other shopping. First time at a Hyatt Place and I'm impressed. Easy checkin and friendly staff. The door locks work instantaneously unlike the usual delayed response with other cards. Room was large not like the other smaller rooms. The breakfast was way better than the others. hash browns were crispy, waffles were premade and also crisp not soggy. Fresh fruit and yogurt, eggs sausage. A pleasant surprise. Also lots of good restaurants nearby. Parking was only $10. We'll be returning again. read more

Unfortunately, in my experience with Hyatt, it was a soulless corporation that doesn't care about there customers any more than a lip service. We booked this stay months ago through hotels.com. Two weeks before we stayed my grandmother died, and the funeral was the day before our stay 3 states away. We contacted multiple hotels explaining the situation, jumping through any corporate hoops, and all of them provided us a refund. Except this hotel. What did this hotel do? "Sorry for your loss, but you booked through a third party, you have to go through them for a refund." Except hotels.com was the one who sent us directly to Hyatt. I even have an email from hotels.com stating that Hyatt was the one who rejected our refund exception. Is it so nice when you can hide greedy little profits behind a black hole of bureaucratic red-tape black holes? Honestly if they had just owned up to this and said that they were refusing an exception to their cancellation policy, I would have been annoyed, but not upset. But no, they wanted it to not be their fault, and they said their sorry so now their can pat themselves on the back and say they are so caring and kind. read more

We have been staying here for years. It has always been our place to stay no matter the price. Everything has always been superb except this last stay where we got charged $100 for "trashing the room". Trying to get a hold of a manager to see what the issue was has been impossible. Yes, we had kids with us, but we leave dirty towels in a pile, any dishes on the table in a pile, and garbage in the garbage can. Other then that there was nothing on the room to show it as "trashed". Unless it's because we didn't make our beds upon leaving??? We are highly upset and have now decided to no longer stay with this particular Hyatt. read more

Stayed here on a business trip. We arrived Monday afternoon, it was about a half hour from the airport. The front desk seemed busy, we were accommodated quickly but when we tried to phone concierge for a new iron we were in hold for awhile. They arrived quickly though. Besides that our stay was well. Breakfast is served from lime 6 am to 9 am. Expect your registration continental breakfast, cereal, eggs, waffles and oats. They even had veggies from breakfast which I thought was weird. The waffles were good I wish they offered some fresh fruit to top them off. The bacon bits were soft and nasty. All in all it's a good breakfast to just get something on your stomach. I booked at Hyatt Place Dublin for a one-night, business trip using Hotels.com and paid in full on the third-party website. Upon arriving, the staff was very accommodating and the atmosphere was nice and welcoming. It didn't smell like some other hotel places in the area. Check-in was quick and easy. I was disappointed to find out that I had to pay for an additional $10 overnight parking fee, which was NOT mentioned on hotels.com. The overnight parking fee felt like a last-minute expense that they just made up for customers to have to pay for. I've actually never seen any other hotel place this unless the vehicle was placed into their personal parking structure. My one-room total (with parking fee) was ~$178 for one night. Continental breakfast was included in our stay. The rooms were clean and had all the hotel amenities that you'd expect. Summary: CUSTOMER SERVICE: Friendly and honest PRICE: $168 for one room, two guests. Add another $10 overnight parking fee, totaling ~$178 for one night. (I think that's expensive.) WIFI: Free and you don't even need to be a guest to jump onto the wifi. FREE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST: It includes the basic eggs, potatoes, ham, cereals, oatmeal, bread/bagels. GYM: It only has two treadmills and two bike stations. There are like 10 dumbells at most and was pretty crammed into a 10 x 15 feet room. It's pretty small. read more

I don't like writing one star reviews because they often lack enough credibility to read and result from a minor event that happened at the wrong moment. In this case, I feel it's important to let people know that the management at this is rude and insensitive. I called well in advance to cancel a visit that was needed for a medical situation that worsened and required us to change plans. I called four times and each time was told that I had to speak with someone else and that someone else sent me to someone else again. Finally I got the voice mail of the manager and they never called me back. In the end, they charged me a $159 cancellation fee but no one ever had the fortitude or human kindness to listen to me. Where is the compassion in the world? It's certainly not at the Hyatt Place in Dublin. Next time I will be looking elsewhere to stay. read more

I've heard he has been there for a long time but he is very very rude and unhelpful. Me and my wife pre paid for 2 nights there I believe it was about 390$ in total and when we got there we couldn't use our card for the deposit until the next morning and when I asked him he kept saying over and over without any genuine human emotions "sorry there's nothing we can do" and I said "but we already paid 400 for the room and we have 3 kids with us, and it's my sons birthday" and again "sorry there's nothing we can do"... good thing Jennifer was standing right there because she said "let me go get mark he can probably help he's the manager" and she literally walked 20 steps to the right and grabbed mark for us and thankfully he was there to help us. Not sure if all rooms are like this, but the bathroom is tiny. I mean, when you open the door it almost touches the toilet. And, you have step over the toilet to shut the door if you are in the bathroom and want privacy. Look at my pics. Door cannot open all the way without hitting the shower. So this was a big turn off. First Impression of the hotel was mice on the outside. Small small parking lot with a $10 parking fee. Check in was easy with no complaints. The room is a different story. I requested 2 double beds. I got 1 king and pull out couch bed. I got little ones that I want to sleep comfortably that I'm paying for it. We brought our blankets for them as usual since the little blankets they provide for pull outs will scratch your soul out of your nostrils and irritate your esophagus. Ohh yea the phone is for display I guess since has no cords or anything. The bed was comfy and of course king size right next to the AC unit. The shower is narrow which made my elbows ache a is I was trying to wash the ash off from the wild fires. It's small. read more

This is the by far the worst hotel ever. First, the whole hotel lobby was under construction with no warning. They then lied and said the pool was heated but it was freezing cold and also, the air conditioning was not working plus the tv said we had to pay for channels. Plus the remote wasn't working.Finally, we we're using the blow dryer and it broke and stank up the whole room. Another thing that happened was then when I walked into the hotel room there was a big, red stain on the carpet and it had looked like someone spilt red wine. This is also a bad hotel because we have to pay for parking. This hotel is outrageous! Lastly, when I was taking a shower the door knob almost fell off!! Hotel is a mess-so they give you 2 bottles of water to make up for it (which Hyatt members get anyways). Requests made in advance went unnoticed. Loud room, tired rooms, NO SAFES (although staff didn't know this). Called about hold put on my credit card-staff didn't understand my question and could not explain huge hold on my card when points and prepayment used. No management to speak of. VERY IMPRESSIVE! I had to get up early for a business meeting so I decided to stay at the Hyatt Place to get a jump on the commute. I was so impressed. The check-in was appropriately Socially-Distanced. It was easy and the check-in person was helpful. I had booked through Booking.com before I left home but it did not register. She was able to match the price because she found my Hyatt loyalty account. The suite was spacious, quiet, and CLEAN. There were just enough amenities with a good soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The TV was large and looked like it could be a very high resolution. The bed was very comfortable and I fell asleep easily even though I usually toss-and-turn in a different room. Best of all was "Grab 'n' Go" breakfast. I was able to take a cup of juice and two hard-boiled eggs with a cup of coffee. It was just enough to get me through without being filling. They offered sausage breakfast sandwiches and cold cereal. They had hot oatmeal cups and offered hot water for them, too. Just a great place to stop when you have a long day with cheerful staff. I have to make people aware that the management here is abusive. . The employees are not. I was so pleased with the professionalism of all the employees.... I appreciate them for making my trip amazing!! I was traveling with my disabled mother and it was her bday and my bday. Everything was great until check out. I cancelled one reservation for a different date.. the management refused to acknowledge that and overcharged.. no exceptions! Even though I stayed 2 nights. I was disrespected, argued with and mansplained that they will charge no matter what... I see that their inability for flexibility of any kind is costly to their customers..I own timeshares and have loyalty cards from many hotels and this issue has never happened..Until management is overhauled I can't endorse this stay.. This really would have been a 5 star review if it wasn't for one person, Assistant manager Mark Lepak. All the other workers i spoke to were friendly and welcoming. Rebecca and christina are awesome. Without them, mark is getting a 0 star. I was having stomach problems and i called the front desk letting mark know i will be a little late for check out. 18mins late exactly i made it to the front desk. I was charged $54 extra dollars for 18minutes. I understand they have rules and policies, and i did go over the checkout time. This is where the problem began, i asked very nicely can we just waive it, since i called ahead to let you know, and i tried my best to run down there to checkout. His attitude became extremely rude, just kept looking at his screen and saying no. You couldnt respect me enought to look at me when youre talking to me ? Anyway, i went to the side to make a card, he charges my card and just runs to hide in his little backroom. Mark doesnt have the patience to be standing in the front desk. Im not even sure he has enough patience to be respectful towards a random human being. Let alone being a manager at this establishment. Mark singlehandedly ruined my stay here. Good job. This hotel is a little older and ran down, I'm surprised at the lack of men who worked there. With no managers in-sight. From my observations: In the morning, there's a Filipino girl with the red lipstick who wears a tight black dress you can see her labia, she let old men flirt and gawk over her, it's very suspicious (seems like she's selling herself to the attention) she was even hugging on the kitchen woman suggesting women with women work, someone should investigate that. (The kitchen woman looked embarrassed and upset) At night another older Filipino woman was checking in people while on the phone chopping it up on loud speaker, speaking her language, it was unprofessional. The other front staff were very kind and apologized for the rude old Filipino woman on her phone. I appreciated they they noticed my disgust of how some workers performed. Especially that morning girl selling herself and pick up new "clients." The other night girls are the only reason this place gets three stars. The rooms are really cute here and and I love their Covid protocols. They don't clean the rooms every day, unless you require cleaning service and ask for it. There's hand sanitizer everywhere, the remote control comes in a sterilized bag, and it never felt crowded. We felt like we were the only ones in the hotel throughout our stay. read more

I stayed about a month ago. The front desk personnel were not the friendliest crew Hyatt is known for. I have their names somewhere, will update this review later with their names. I honestly felt unwelcome and judged because I did not look like my last name. Racist thing for her to say. Second, with the Hyatt membership we held, the treatment was absolutely unacceptable. As an Explorist member, this Hyatt place in pleasanton, Ca is the WORST hyatt I've been to. We checked in for 1 night, as we were about to check out the next morning, my 3 year old was crying. We were in the lobby, I have him, and our stuff (baby bags, personal bag, in short my hand is full plus a crying toddler), I was alproached by the front desk lady, her name is AYLA. And told me that my child is is disturbing some of the visitors that are checked in downstairs and If I could take him back to our room z which is in the 4th floor. My spouse at the time is in the car, loading some of our stuff. Honestly, our toddler is not aways fussy. Maybe it's a new place, too early, whatever the reason may be, you do not tell a mother with her hands full and a crying toddler to basically shut them up. If anything, OFFER HELP. My kid didn't even cry for more than 10 minutes. He just needed to be held. THAT's IT!!! I was so frustrated to my self, to my kid, to the situation!!! And for someone to tell me to take him somewhere else to shut him up because of the other guests, am I not a guest??? Am I invalid because I have a crying child??? Trust me. NO PARENT WOULD WANT THEIR KID TO HAVE A MELTDOWN!!!!!!!! If I have a choice, I would always want him to be chirpy and happy and laughing!!!! The hotel was in horrible shape, there was construction going on downstairs and on the second floor where we were staying. So, wanna know my honest review? I was staying at my home town at basically Pleasanton/San Ramon Valley. All because of my birthday. I thought, that my time in this hotel is gonna be an easy ride, but apparently that's not the case. I'm not gonna have a rant, just here to say this: - Fumigate your rooms please. I've got bug bites all over my foot from God knows what the hell is wrong with it. - Make sure your TV'S work. Some of the rooms apparently don't have working TV's. - Please don't make it inconvenient for the customers to fix the problems that your hotels have. We had to move to another room for you guys to fix the bug bite issues. - Make sure the rooms you assign is actually the correct room the first time that the persom ordered. Honestly, if I can, I'd rate this a 0, but because of how Yelp works, I have to give it something. Our little one that night was being restless so we ended up over sleeping past checkout. We woke to a bang on our door and someone on the other side who goes by MARK. The room is fantastic, it comes with a nice fridge and a huge TV. The couches and desks were top-notch. The bed was super comfy with great pillows. The staff were a pleasure to interact with too. The reason for the 2* delete was on two things. 1) They charge 10$ for parking in a lot that isnt the nicest. It's not a parking garage, and it's not valet. It's $10 to self park at a hotel. 2) I got royally screwed on a bottle of wine. Its a 15$ bottle and they charged 37$. I understand markup, but geez... They have an outdoor pool, not heated, and a hot breakfast buffet. Make sure you are there before they close breakfast or your doomed. Literally, I was there 5 minutes past closing, and it was annoying that 90% was already closed. I work late, for me to get there from 630-9am was difficult. Overall, i would stay again, but i would do a few things differently to make it a 5* read more

Enjoyed a great stay at the Hyatt. The area near the hotel is nice. Near the fwys and restaurants. Upon arriving check-in was easy. 4nights in one of the rooms with a king bed and sofa. The room was spacious and very clean. The only complaint was the closet. It is in a very awkward spot and I was only able to use half of it, could not fully unpack. We went to the lobby for some snacks and drinks and the employee at the front desk was super nice. I believe her name is Willie, she was friendly and professional. We did loose our parking pass the first night which meant we had to pay again, the manager was very matter of fact on the rule, no exceptions! I purchased a pass because we had no other choice.. We found our pass on the parking floor next morning and the front desk employee assured us we would get refund. My family and I have stayed here several times and it's a favorite because of the spacious rooms. We get a room that has two beds (though I believe they are doubles) and a pull out couch. There's also enough room for a pack and play. A couple of things that kept this from being a five star review are the parking and breakfast. The parking lot is shared with the now defunct Babies R Us so there are spaces, however, parking that is convenient to the actual hotel (when you're carrying all your things) is hard to come by. As for breakfast, one of our requirements for a hotel is a free breakfast, which doesn't have to be fancy, just available and good enough. The food is certainly better than good enough but it is apparently no longer free. As of November 2018 there is a $15 per room charge for breakfast. We booked through Expedia not knowing about the change and of course paid less than if we had booked directly. So for this trip breakfast wasn't included and that was an unpleasant surprise. We did pay for breakfast however (at least we think we did as there was no one validating room keys or anything...). But a few comments on the breakfast itself. The variety is nice, on the Saturday in December there were scrambled eggs, shoulder bacon, potatoes, waffles, hard boiled eggs, toast, fruit, and oatmeal. It was a good selection with three juices available. The layout of the breakfast room is nothing short of insane. The plates are located throughout the room above your head on shelves. Which means there's not really a starting point and people enter from both ends so no one really knows who's turn it is. This is a frustration in the order and is a first world problem but it's annoying nonetheless. Also, there appears to be but one highchair which is also incredible frustrating. All in all this is a good hotel to stay in with free WiFi, great location with shopping and food nearby, a gas station, and easy access to the freeway. This hotel is great, and I would recommend it. The staff are very friendly, and the hotel is lovely (it's definitely had a recent renovation). It was a very convenient location for me, as I was traveling for business. It's close to a lot of restaurants, and stores so you can get anything you need quickly. My room was huge (might be bigger then my first apartment to be honest). It was very clean upon arrival and the staff kept it that way daily. The finishes were also nice. For example, instead of the standard hotel shower liner with a chintzy curtain, the shower was tiled, and there was also both a liner and an exterior curtain. The countertops in the room were stone. The view was great, the bed and couch were comfortable, and the TV had a good amount of channels. The breakfast at the hotel was also nice. There was quite a bit of variety and I felt that the quality of the food was very good. That's rare in my opinion. You have to be a Hyatt member in order to qualify for it, but as becoming a Hyatt member is free, it's not a big deal. The only thing I wished was that there was a shelf under the sink for the bathroom. There wasn't one, and it would have been nice to be able to put my bathroom bag there. read more

Upon arriving after an exhausting flight, I found the check-in process to be extremely quick and easy. The girl at the front desk had no issues looking up my reservation, asked for my form of payment, and finished up by handing me a key to the room. There isn't exactly a restaurant at this hotel, but they do have sandwiches, flatbreads, and salads that are "cooked" (I'm sure they're just pre-packaged and heated up) and available almost 24/7. I actually got their Turkey BLT upon checking in because I was just too tired to walk across the lot to get something. There's also complimentary, daily breakfast, which is nice. However, don't expect anything fancy. This is your standard buffet-style breakfast with basic things like eggs, bacon, pancakes, oatmeal, greek yogurt, fruits, donuts, and your variety of breakfast drinks (coffee, OJ, apple juice). I only ate their breakfast once and didn't find it too delicious, but it's free. So, there's not much to complain about there. I got a room with a king-sized bed, a pull-out couch, mini-fridge and sink. The room also comes equipped with good wi-fi signal, a desk to work at, TV with A/V hookups, and a great AC/heater unit that worked well during my stay. The bed is probably the best part about this Hyatt Place. It's a very comfortable pillow-top mattress that's neither too soft nor too hard. The pillows, on the other hand, were a little too soft for me. I ended up using two. The comforter is a little on the thin side, but there's an extra blanket in the room by the couch if you ever need it. The walls seem to be well insulated as I never really heard neighbors in other rooms. However, you can definitely hear people in the hallways and the slamming of doors. The only issue with this Hyatt Place is the scent they use to clean/freshen up the rooms. It's extremely strong and lingers around. I had to open my window to air out the room on the first day. Other than that, I found the employees here to be very nice and helpful. Parking is free and extremely easy to find a spot just outside of the hotel. I'd definitely stay here again, especially knowing that they're pet-friendly! read more
