Forgot to get a picture of our room itself, but I stayed here with my partner for a wedding. A lot of my friends did actually, but we all had separate rooms. They let us check in early so we could get to the wedding efficiently, but there was a lot of miscommunications on their end about when the room would be available, and then their phone service wasn't going through. The room was nice. I really just slept there. My room has a king size bed, mini fridge, microwave, iron, full bathroom, tv, desk, and a pretty big couch. I was on the 3rd floor. It was clean and I slept well. The hotel itself was quiet. It felt kind of expensive ($150/night) although I don't stay in hotels often enough to have a good sense of this. We stayed here because this is where the wedding party block was. After the wedding, 8 of our friends came back to the room and it wasn't cramped. People sat on the floor but it was overall very comfortable. There were a lot of amenities I didn't get to take advantage of because of how short my stay was, but they have a pool and gym, as well as a fire pit in the back and a really big common space. The staff was nice. I didn't interact with them a ton but they were always smiling and answered the few questions I had, as well as checked us in and out efficiently.

This Marriott location does meet industry standards. The experience was negative and had a negative impact to our wedding party. Staff lied, acted clueless and carried themselves in an unprofessional manner. Here is a list of events from the worst hotel experience at this location. 1. Arrived to check in at the hotel to be told there was no running water. Given two water bottles to bathe in. 2. Given a room that was not cleaned properly. Towels on the bathroom floor, shower floor disgusting and trash in the bins. 3. Asked for a clean room - front desk staff followed up with there is nothing he could do as there are currently 5 weddings. 4. Foul smell looming from a dead squirrel outside my window. 5. Front desk clerk lied to multiple members of our family who booked a room through booking stating booking.com did not send over the reservation. Back and forth with booking.com confirmed staff was lying, but couldn't accommodate the reservation.

The Courtyard by Marriott is in an odd location, surrounded by two warehouses and two shopping centers, but it's not hard to find being directly off the street. Hotel has penalty of parking. The interior of the hotel and our suite was modern looking and nice. Suite was well laid out with two beds and a pull-out couch, and the room included two TV's. Beds were ok and not uncomfortable. The soundproofing in general could have been a little better in the rooms and the bathroom. Our room didn't have the greatest view as we were aimed directly at the back of the York Town Center. Currently, the hotel has no soda or vending machines, and its restaurant, The Bistro is also closed due to the pandemic. Instead, next to check-in is a small "market" area with snacks, soda, and some alcoholic beverages for sale. Overall, nice hotel and I'd stay here again.

Decent bed. Decent service. I got a good rate for a wedding. The room is clean but weird the sheet is on top of the blanket. I had to double check if it's clean. There is a Starbucks. I would drive out for a cafe thou.

Very nice room - plenty of sapce!

I have been travelling for the past month and have been hitting one good hotel after another! This was yet another very nice Courtyard. In the past I have preferred Fairfield Inns, but lately I have stayed in some nice Courtyards, including this one. Check-in girl was very nice and friendly. My room was quite large with 2 queens, a big workdesk, closet, frig, microwave, coffee pot, etc. I loved the bathroom. It had extra shelving, and it was only a shower - not a tub. It had a great shower head, and glass doors - which I loved. My bed was great - firm yet cushy - and great pillows! The sheets were clean, as was the bathroom and all the towels. There was a big picture window in my room - I loved all the natural light. There's no free breakfast, but you can buy it from a little café in the lobby (as well as dinner). There IS free wi-fi and free parking. I was only there for 1 night, and it was late when I checked in so I really couldn't see what kind of area it was. It's very convenient to the Interstate, and I did see some big stores like Staples, Bed Bath and Beyond, Old Navy, etc. But, I don't know what else is around. Great stay.

    Perfect room!

Unfortunately I didn't look at the reviews before booking which I should have. We arrived and the night staff at the front desk wasn't the nicest and seemed like he had better things to do. After we got checked in, we went up to the room and my wife took off her shoes and noticed the floor was sticky. She thought it had just been cleaned so naturally could have felt sticky but was really just a little wet. Nope. Hours later it was still sticky. After staying in the room for a bit, it was time to get ready for bed and we went to arrange the room so our son who is 1.5 years old could be in his pack and play and be blocked so he can't see us (so he falls asleep without distractions). We went to move the couch and when we did, there were crumbs from who knows when underneath. Not just little crumbs, I am talking pepperonis, full French fries, chunks of bread, etc. immediately we called down to the front desk and they offered to move us to another room so we did. At 9:30pm. This was after blatantly asking 'are you wanting a discount or new room?' Once in the new room, we moved the couch again and noticed it hadn't been cleaned. We know this because we found the remote that had been replaced already. Also more crumbs. This room wasn't that bad though so we stayed. In the morning, our son was running around and the corner piece that protects the wall corner fell off randomly and crashed to the floor, luckily missing him. We tried putting it back on but it was useless. One last thing we noticed is the water is scorching hot. Don't let your kids at any age control the water temperature of the bath/shower/sink because it is hot enough to make a grown man cry. We won't be staying in this hotel any time in the future.

I'm going to summarize this review with three words…read more DON'T. STAY. HERE. I was in the process of documenting the pros and cons of this property, but I thought it was More important to just get right to the point. My first room was absolutely filthy. Dust everywhere, bits of food stuck to the nightstand. Inexplicable white liquid stains on the ottoman. Paper thin walls to the point where where you could hear the toilet flush next door as well as the scraping of hangers in the closet next door. The room had broken and worn furniture, appliance cords with visibly exposed wires. The linens on both beds were visibly soiled, and one of the box springs was visibly stained as well. This place has obviously seen better days. As if that weren't bad enough, I noticed what appeared to be mouse droppings on the floor of my first room. I immediately asked to be moved to another room and on the surface that room looked like it was much cleaner than the room I was first assigned to. However after pulling back the sheets and finding dead bugs on the mattress, it was time to go. There were two women working at the front desk during my brief stay: Kara and Nastacia. Kara was empathetic and genuinely seemed interested in helping resolve the situation. She offered to move me to another room and even accompanied me to do an initial inspection of the 2nd room to see if it met my needs. Her colleague Nastacia, however, appeared completely uninterested in assisting me in any way or otherwise helping me find a solution. When I first checked into the hotel, Kara was the person that I communicated my concerns to. However, when I returned to the front desk I noticed she was not there, so I began explaining the situation to Nastacia (since she was the only one behind the front desk) to see if she might be able to help. Before I could finish, Nastacia gestured for me to stop speaking so that she could go get her coworker. It wasn't the fact that she went to go get Kara that bothered me, it was the way she did it. Her demeanor made it clear that she wanted nothing to do with helping me. Additionally, throughout the entire experience she was so passive-aggressive. When Kara would try to suggest a potential solution (such as relocating me to another nearby Marriott property), Nastacia would mumble a critique about the decision, saying what she would have done differently. What I found particularly frustrating was that Nastacia never addressed me directly, even though both of them were standing behind the front desk. Instead, she spoke to Kara about me, and about the situation, as though I wasn't standing right in front of her. Rather than engaging with me as a guest, Nastacia chose to criticize the person who was actively trying to help me. It was incredibly frustrating, dismissive, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Ultimately, I asked Kara if the hotel could have my reservation changed to another Marriott property nearby. She informed me that that was not possible but she did a call nearby Marriott to confirm they had vacancy. I came back this morning to talk to the general manager (Samuel) but the manager on duty, Alba, was the only one available. She was very polite, very professional, and very empathetic. I appreciate the way that she addressed my concerns and I only wish she was on duty the prior evening. I think my experience might have been handled a little differently and with a little bit more empathy where she there. In short, this hotel is old, it's musty, it's filthy, it appears to have evidence of insects and vermin in the rooms and some of the staff seem not to care. I cannot state this strongly enough... DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.
