    3 egg omelette
    Monica L.

The hotel facilities are ok, but the restaurant is horrible. Breakfast does not live up to the Hilton name. The first thing was the coffee, cold; not drinkable temperature, cold cold. Then the food came. Pancakes are as thin as a tortilla, and had a weird color like transparent. The 3 egg omelette was watery and tasteless (as if they diluted the eggs with water or something to make more). We couldn't eat that disgusting attempt of food, I asked to speak to the manager and it was the person who cooked the food. So yeah the manager standards are on the floor and that is exactly what you should expect if dare to eat there

    Bed

When the mattresses don't even cover the bed frame and your disabled mom gets hurt trying to walk across the room on the corner of the bed that sticks out , and gets told the whole place has beds like that, what kinda dump puts mattresses two sizes two small on a bed frame? Staff was less than helpful, pretty much didn't care. Insisted the beds were safe.

Today we stayed in a Hilton Garden Inn. The hotel was nicely set up, I have a few small issues but I'll discuss those later. The Service: The Service was awesome from check-in to check-out, because I signed up to be a Hilton Honors Member I was given two bottles of water; that was pretty cool to me but I'm pretty easy to please. The Room: The room I really liked, it was nicely setup, bed was comfortable (side note, I realized that there was a sleep number switch on the side of the bed that I didn't even know about.) the bathroom was clean and well stocked. They had a Keurig in the room, an Iron and other needed items. Also first hotel that I've been in where I actually knew how to surf the channels. They had DirecTV (biased). The Workout Facility: It was small and was enough room to do my workout. However there aren't any free weights, 2 treadmills and 1 elliptical. They did have a swimming pool that I didn't get a chance to try. My Gripes: The only real gripe I have is that there isn't a complimentary breakfast but again that's a small issue. The food smelled good, I never had the opportunity. Maybe next time. All in all, it was a great nights stay, I slept great, comfortable bed, and a flat screen to watch the game what more could I ask for

The nice lobby I waited in, the front desk is behind me

I usually do well with hotels and have no complaints, but this time I do. The service here is absolutely ridiculous. I haven't been so embarrassed by an employee until I came to this establishment. I had a little fallout with the manager Nancy, the sales manager and the lady working at the front desk at the time. When speaking to me the manager, Nancy and the sales manager, were extremely rude and even had the audacity to ask me if I've ever "ran a hotel". Uhm... like that had nothing to do with the situation at hand. I asked for a policy and they didn't even give me one. They were just so rude I couldn't believe it. Then NANCY (I don't even believe she was the manager because her name tag said house keeping) decided to jump in my conversation that I was having with my sister. I told my sister I felt like a peasant just sitting in the lobby and NANCY had the audacity to "say excuse me? Did you just call us peasants." Like what don't jump in our conversation, stay within your role. I work in customer service and I always keep up a smile and not be rude so these staff need to learn to do the same. The only reason I gave two stars was because of the pool and jacuzzi.

    Great hotel!

One of my favorite touches was the enclosed walkway between the parking garage and the hotel, where historic photographs line the walls, telling the story of the grand department store that once occupied the building before it was transformed into the Marriott you see today. It's a neat little glimpse into Lancaster's past. The parking garage is just around the corner and connects directly to the hotel via the skywalk. That said, I'd recommend pulling into the front entrance first to check in and unload your luggage before parking--it'll save you from hauling bags through the garage. We booked a corner room, and I think it's easily the best value in the hotel. The extra windows offer great views of downtown from two sides, making the room feel much more open and bright. The indoor pool is modest but perfect for a refreshing dip after a day of exploring. There's also a well-equipped fitness center and spa for anyone looking to unwind or keep up with their workout routine. Don't miss the rooftop restaurant and bar. It's well worth stopping in for the views alone, whether you're grabbing dinner or just enjoying a drink. One thing to know, though: at the time of writing, access is from the exterior entrance rather than directly through the hotel. Overall, if you're planning a visit to Lancaster or exploring Amish Country, this is an excellent place to stay. Comfortable, convenient, reasonably priced, and full of character, it's hard to beat as a home base for your trip.

Our two-bed room was spacious and comfortable, and I was ecstatic to find a microwave in the room! That little convenience made a big difference, especially while traveling with our babygirl. We were on the first floor, and our room overlooked the formal ballroom. The resort itself is HUGE and, honestly, felt a little like a maze at first. But once we figured things out, we loved exploring everything it had to offer. One of our favorite features was the three pools--one indoor and two outdoor. The indoor pool also has a sauna, which was a nice bonus. We went to the indoor pool our first night, but it was overly crowded, so for the rest of our stay, we gravitated toward the outdoor pools. We especially enjoyed the outdoor heated pool because it was much more spacious and gave our babygirl plenty of room to practice her swimming. There's also a splash zone for the kiddos, although our little one wasn't interested in that at all. She wanted to do what the big kids were doing, the pool. Another nice touch was the outdoor food truck, which offered quick handheld bites along with both alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. It was convenient when we wanted something to eat or drink without having to leave the pool area. Our room was cleaned daily and fully restocked, which we really appreciated. Eden Resort and Suites was the perfect place for our family getaway. We felt comfortable, had plenty to do, and made some great memories together. Hubby asked me if I would return... My answer? ABSOLUTELY! We would definitely stay here again!

Baby made a mess 1st night and they handled professionally and friendly -5/5 Pools and kids splash zone were excellent. Only complaint is that they were packed like sardines. Also kids splash zone had a lot of adults with 0 sense on how to act. They went into pools wearing outside clothes and shoes, and some were using kids splash pad as a shower. Not so much Eden issue as id*otic guests - 4/5 Now here is where story gets interesting. Storms knocked out the power on 4th of July to all of Lancaster. Hotel had no power, pools closed, fridges defrosting, no phone charging. Did it suck - yes. Is it fault of Eden - no. All of Lancaster had no power and downed trees. We slept 2nd night in pitch dark with no AC and it was just fine. Hotel refunded 2nd night promptly so ended up paying just for 1st night. Can't seriously blame the resort for power outage caused by storms

There's a small lake with ducks, a playground, a fire pit area, and a nice seating area. They have a restaurant on sight, but we did not eat there. They also have a small gift shop. They did a great job at keeping things looking clean. The free coffee, tea, hot chocolate and cookies were a nice touch. They had the place beautifully decorated for Christmas. We plan to stay there the next we are in town. We have already recommended the place to several people!

Secondly, the provided breakfast was very disappointing. So much so that we went shopping for breakfast items to keep in our room as we had no interest in dining out each morning. Also, our suite did lack robes which made it much harder to remain comfortable while we relaxed after soaking in our hot tub and during our morning breakfasts in room. That being said, if you'd prefer prepared breakfasts, there is a great couple cafes just on the other side of the parking garage that open fairly early. Just don't expect this hotel to satisfy any real hunger in the morning. To summarize what was available: Overly lemon juice coated fruits Plain white bread products with a toaster Scrambled powdered eggs and bacon so thin it doesn't even taste like bacon Cereal/milk Oatmeal Overcooked hard boiled eggs (green ring around yolks) I think I saw yogurt on people's tables but it was gone when we arrived. Lastly, the tables in the breakfast room are very wobbly. We moved once and it was still an issue at the next so that was about the time we left. That being said, here are the things we loved: -Great ambiance in the lobby with a couple games and sketchbooks to pass time. -Friendly front desk staff -charming suite with spacious hot tub and powerful shower -comfortable couches, bed, and chairs -in suite table was sturdy and did not wobble -proximity to cafes and shops -free parking -restaurant on site; for dinner only. -nearby park/trail decent for jogging/walking
