She apologized and said when I checked in, I should've been given vouchers for breakfast. Very disappointing stay other places much nicer. The Wi-Fi here was not very good either.

Quick and dirty one night stay earlier this month as it was right off the highway and at least on that point very convenient. Good: The bed here is very comfortable. I know the property is give or take 5 years old but the bed in our room felt very new and was honestly on par with any hotel that I have ever stayed at. Also good is that we didn't hear any noise from surrounding rooms or the area. Not Good: The whole keep the main entrance locked 24 hours a day unless you already have a key is moronic. The woman at the desk (more than likely the only person on property) was getting pulled in multiple directions from the phone ringing, check ins (like us) coming in and other people meandering down by the desk. It took a while for her to be able to open the door and there is no way that the phone you need to use to call the desk to get them to let you in is being cleaned with enough frequency so as not to be a germ spreading machine. In our brief time in the lobby (counting us) three different groups of people used the phone one right after another. It's simply not a smart idea. Random: The room was in decent shape and seemed clean (I mean you never really know and the whole Hilton Clean Stay thing is honestly just marketing shtick) although certain things stood out like the bathmat and one of towels being ripped/frayed and if someone were using the sofa bed there was no extra bedding in the room. We skipped on breakfast as we had other plans and I know from pre-pandemic Home 2 stays that it's nothing special (take Homewood Suites breakfast and dumb it way down) let alone whatever the current version is. If I were doing an extended stay I would buck up and stay at the nearby Homewood but for one night or a weekend stay this place is alright as the beds are good, it's close to the highway and there are some stores/restaurants close by. Good enough.

I was in…read morethe process of relocating 570 miles away for a new job with just one week to pack up a two-bedroom house, two large dogs, and two cats. I chose this motel because it was one of the few that allowed pets and appeared to meet my needs. However, my experience was far from acceptable. Booking and Check-In: I reserved a room online and clearly mentioned that I had two large dogs and two cats. When I arrived at 2:30 AM after a long drive, I reiterated this information at the front desk. The staff confirmed everything was fine, took my payment, and handed over the key. So far, so good. Room Condition: Upon entering the room, I was horrified by the condition. It smelled strongly of cat urine and stale cigarette smoke. while I understood people with pets used smoking rooms the smell was overwhelming. The floor, door handles, and light switches were sticky to the touch. There were visible stains, possibly bodily fluids, splattered on the walls, light switches, and floor. The bedspread was riddled with cigarette burns, and to top it off, there were roaches. Lots of them. I had to spend the first three hours of my stay cleaning the room with supplies I bought myself because I couldn't sleep in such filth. I used the motel's towels for cleaning, which they later tried to charge me for, despite the unsanitary condition of the room being their responsibility. The sink didn't drain, the bathtub faucet dripped constantly, and only two of the six electrical outlets worked. The carpet near the door reeked of cat urine, so I even had to buy a carpet shampooer to try to make the room livable, since maintenance would only clean it on their schedule. Pet and Room Accommodations: I specifically requested a ground-floor room because one of my dogs has hip dysplasia and cannot manage stairs. They put me on the second floor instead, claiming they had an elevator. That elevator frequently malfunctioned, which was both frightening and unsafe. Additional Issues: The heating and air conditioning unit, as well as the windowsill, were covered in mildew. The ice bucket on the counter was stuck to some kind of sticky, unknown substance. The room's lights by the bed didn't work, and I chose to sleep in my own sleeping bag and use my own pillow because the bed was so dirty. Staff Treatment: To make matters worse, the staff tried to charge me an additional $40 for using their towels to clean their disgusting room. They claimed I had "destroyed" property by cleaning with their towels. They even went so far as to ask me to leave a week before my original reservation ended, claiming my use of the towels to clean what they didn't clean was unacceptable. Overall Impression: I stayed long term at a Motel 6 in Kentucky and this was, without a doubt, the worst lodging experience I have ever had. The room was not only dirty and in poor condition but also a health hazard due to the presence of roaches, mildew, and unsanitary surfaces. Several of the staff were unhelpful and unprofessional, and the property itself is in serious need of maintenance. If you are traveling with pets or need a clean and safe place to stay, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. Oh, and watch out for the hornets nests. They seem to be everywhere.

I'm going to summarize this review with three words…read more DON'T. STAY. HERE. I was in the process of documenting the pros and cons of this property, but I thought it was More important to just get right to the point. My first room was absolutely filthy. Dust everywhere, bits of food stuck to the nightstand. Inexplicable white liquid stains on the ottoman. Paper thin walls to the point where where you could hear the toilet flush next door as well as the scraping of hangers in the closet next door. The room had broken and worn furniture, appliance cords with visibly exposed wires. The linens on both beds were visibly soiled, and one of the box springs was visibly stained as well. This place has obviously seen better days. As if that weren't bad enough, I noticed what appeared to be mouse droppings on the floor of my first room. I immediately asked to be moved to another room and on the surface that room looked like it was much cleaner than the room I was first assigned to. However after pulling back the sheets and finding dead bugs on the mattress, it was time to go. There were two women working at the front desk during my brief stay: Kara and Nastacia. Kara was empathetic and genuinely seemed interested in helping resolve the situation. She offered to move me to another room and even accompanied me to do an initial inspection of the 2nd room to see if it met my needs. Her colleague Nastacia, however, appeared completely uninterested in assisting me in any way or otherwise helping me find a solution. When I first checked into the hotel, Kara was the person that I communicated my concerns to. However, when I returned to the front desk I noticed she was not there, so I began explaining the situation to Nastacia (since she was the only one behind the front desk) to see if she might be able to help. Before I could finish, Nastacia gestured for me to stop speaking so that she could go get her coworker. It wasn't the fact that she went to go get Kara that bothered me, it was the way she did it. Her demeanor made it clear that she wanted nothing to do with helping me. Additionally, throughout the entire experience she was so passive-aggressive. When Kara would try to suggest a potential solution (such as relocating me to another nearby Marriott property), Nastacia would mumble a critique about the decision, saying what she would have done differently. What I found particularly frustrating was that Nastacia never addressed me directly, even though both of them were standing behind the front desk. Instead, she spoke to Kara about me, and about the situation, as though I wasn't standing right in front of her. Rather than engaging with me as a guest, Nastacia chose to criticize the person who was actively trying to help me. It was incredibly frustrating, dismissive, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Ultimately, I asked Kara if the hotel could have my reservation changed to another Marriott property nearby. She informed me that that was not possible but she did a call nearby Marriott to confirm they had vacancy. I came back this morning to talk to the general manager (Samuel) but the manager on duty, Alba, was the only one available. She was very polite, very professional, and very empathetic. I appreciate the way that she addressed my concerns and I only wish she was on duty the prior evening. I think my experience might have been handled a little differently and with a little bit more empathy where she there. In short, this hotel is old, it's musty, it's filthy, it appears to have evidence of insects and vermin in the rooms and some of the staff seem not to care. I cannot state this strongly enough... DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

It was in a very busy shopping area with losts of stores, gas stations and restaurants to choose. The breakfast had a good review, my opinion was that it was basic, cereals, muffins, waffles, eggs and meat, toast and bagels, sweet yogurt and coffee and juice. There was no alternative to dairy. Only fruit was orange and banana and sliced almonds. The attendants were very helpful. My main issues were that it was noisy at night for several hours, may have been someone setting AC ON constant from another room nearby. It sounded like a motor running for hours. And we could not get WIFI to work and notified front desk, who tried to help but not while we were there. Otherwise the room was dark with shades and the people in rooms nearby quiet. 4+

Pros: -I was able to get a room at quite literally the last minute (after 11:00 p.m.) -Rooms are clean and comfortable -Laundry room on site -Decent sized bathroom counter -Makeup wipes and makeup mirror provided -The TV doesn't appear to have a sleep timer on it and stayed on throughout the night, which was perfect because I need background noise in order to stay asleep. -The young man at the front desk when I checked out in the morning (for staff identification purposes, he was a tall thin black man with close cut hair) was incredibly polite and professional, especially first thing in the morning. It was very much a welcome contrast to the frustration of dealing with his clueless colleague the previous night. Cons: -Hallways and elevators are a little bit dated, and also quite warm -The laundry room only accepts coins. There is no credit card option and no machine available to convert bills into quarters. -When I asked the young lady at the front desk (for staff identification and retraining purposes, she was a young Asian woman) if she had was able to provide me with change for the dryer, she flippantly replied, "Nope. Sorry. We had quarters last week though." That information doesn't help me with my current challenge. However, what would have been more helpful is something along the lines of, "Unfortunately, we don't have any quarters on site, but let me look up the closest gas station or convenience store that's still open at this time. I'll get you the address and directions if you need them." I'm sure there were also cash registers on site, considering there is a bar in the hotel, but she didn't bother checking there either. Instead, I had to venture out after midnight in an unfamiliar city to find a convenience store and track down some quarters. -For whatever reason, the room key I was given would not open the laundry facility, so the front desk associate also had to manually unlock the door every time I needed access. At one point, I returned to the front desk so she could let me in to retrieve my clothes from the dryer. When I arrived, she appeared to be engaged in a leisurely phone conversation at nearly 2:00 a.m. I understand that overnight shifts can be slow, but customer service should still take priority. What frustrated me most was that she made no effort to acknowledge my presence or indicate that she would be with me shortly. Instead, I stood there awkwardly for several minutes waiting for her to finish the conversation so she could unlock the door. After the difficult day I had, all I wanted to do was grab my laundry and go to bed, but apparently me needing to claim my garments was interrupting her phone conversation. It is painfully evident that retraining is in order. To make matters worse, after multiple trips back and forth to the laundry room, the front desk associate finally offered to provide me with a doorstop... was collecting my clothes from the dryer and ultimately no longer needed it. It would have been a very helpful suggestion during my first or second trip to the laundry room, when the door stop could have actually solved the problem. For a hotel that caters to business travelers, I am dismayed at the lack of common-sense problem solving on the part of this particular staff member. It made an already inconvenient situation even more frustrating than it needed to be. -There were also issues with the laundry room itself. The posted signage states that both the washer and dryer cycles are 30 minutes. The washer cycle is 30 minutes, but the dryer cycle is actually 60 minutes. This signage needs to be updated so guests can plan accordingly. Additionally, if the hotel insists on using antiquated coin-operated laundry machines, the least they can do is provide a bill-change machine. No one is walking around with $7 worth of quarters, especially business travelers. Better yet, add a credit card payment option to the machines. -Additionally, there should be at least a small selection of laundry detergent available for purchase. At minimum, regular Tide and Tide Free & Gentle (for the sensitive-skin girlies like myself), since that brand is rather popular. -Weak water pressure in the shower -The shower does not have a handheld wand. -This hotel is situated across the street from some kind of warehouse and I could hear all kinds of beeping, truck traffic and other miscellaneous work-related sounds quite clearly from the room. All night long. Even in the middle of the night. Not at all conducive to a peaceful and quiet night's rest. I'll sum it up by saying that this hotel was the least-bad option available to me at the time, but given a choice I would absolutely not stay here again.
