Just had my first airbrush tan yesterday...Adelia did an amazing job! It looks like I went on an island vacation and since we can't afford one this year, I'll have to fake it! The color is great, not streaky at all and she did a great job at blending in my tan arms with my pale body. I asked her to go a little darker and am so glad I did. I'm Japanese and have olive skin and the color is very similar to my natural tan (the last time I had one). Adelia made me feel comfortable even standing buck nekked in front of her! Can't beat the price - buy one for $45 and get one free. I'll definitely go back and may make this my new habit. Also bought the tan extender lotion since she said it could extend the color for another couple of weeks. We'll see...but overall, I'm very happy with the tan and their customer service. Four years ago I purchased a groupon to check this place out and I've never looked back! I absolutely loveeee Adelia! First off, getting sprayed by hand (airbrush) is the ONLY way to go. Automatic sprays are a big no-no, and I should know....I worked in a tanning salon in college once upon a time. Anyway, did I mention how awesome Adelia is?? Her website is easy to navigate and I often make appointment just a few days before. Her salon is easy to find.....clean and very inviting. Being completely naked in front of a stranger is not the easiest thing, but she is always so professional and makes me feel totally comfortable. My tan has NEVER looked bad. Oh and she offers great affordable packages, which is a big plus. Parking can be a challenge sometimes, I've run late a few times due to this, and Adelia has always been really understanding and sweet about it. Will never go to anyone else. :) read more

The absolute best spray tanning place I have been to. I have been going here for about a year and each time I get a tan for a weekend trip, my friends have no idea it is a spray and ask when I got so much sun. (Mind you, I have probably gotten a tan from Couture at least 20 times and they still don't know it's a spray) It's very hard to find a place that doesn't turn you orangey as a pale person and Adelia has mastered the tan! Being both in the marketing world and entertainment/media I know professionalism and good-looks, and this place has got it all! Being a man makes it a lil uncomfortable to walk into a spray tan "salon" with no worries. But, Adelia makes you feel comfortable and her quality of professionalism throws the "Foo-Foo" feel out the window. Focused so much on body weight for the latest video shoot, I forgot how pale I was and in with her 'intense express tan' me and a coactor were tanned and ready by the film shoot that evening. First things first, I have ABSOLUTELY no idea why this place has a 5 start review. They are in this back section of downtown Campbell, their "booth" is a few sheets hung up from PVC piping, and their customer service is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! I was kindly given a "buy one get one free" to try out Couture Tan by a friend. I went in before my bachelorette party to have a nice spray tan done, and they did a nice job. So, I decided to go with them for my wedding two weeks later. I scheduled a time on the day of my rehearsal dinner, and unfortunately, I was running 10 mins late. I called to let them know that I was running late, and to see if they could still take me. They told me that they cannot accommodate me, and that they were going to cancel my appointment. I explained to them that I was getting married the next day, and that if they could accommodate me that day, I would be forever grateful. All they told me was, well, sorry we can't fit you in. They didn't offer any other options to me. Needless to say, I was a mess after this. If you have ever planned a wedding for 200+ people, then you know how stressful it can be. Then on top of that, to have someone tell you that they cannot help you look beautiful before your special day doesn't help. So, being the kind hearted, realistic person I am, I wanted to give them another shot about 3 months later, before my Maui trip. So, I contacted them to see if I could use my "get one free" since they couldn't fit me in before my wedding. Well, apparently, they have a 90 expire policy on it, that I was not made aware of. Supposedly (according to them) they told me when I first came in and paid the $45 for my 1st tan that my "get one free" expires in 90 days. Also, that they have it listed on their website (like I have the time to go look at the website....). They told me that they cannot honor my "get one free" because I'm coming back after the 90 days, and there is nothing they can do. So, now I'm left with no tan, and a terrible taste in my mouth from this company. I always use Planet Beach Contempo Spa, and I will continue to do so. They are VERY accommodating, and are a pleasure to work with. My spray tan always comes out fantastic, and I honestly cannot tell the difference between Couture Tan's spray tan, and Planet Beach's. All in all, this company needs to learn a lesson in customer service- you make someone happy, and they tell 2-5 people, you piss someone off, and they will tell anyone and everyone they can. Which is EXACTLY what I'm going to do. **UPDATE TO COMMENTS MADE BY COUTURE TAN** First off, your grammar is terrible. I would recommend to retake a grammar course asap. Secondly, regardless of the fact that if I came in two days, or two weeks after my initial appointment, your customer service is terrible. You don't work with your customers, and don't cater to their needs. I would have LOVED to come back on a regular basis to receive spray tan's from you(I have a monthly membership to Planet Beach, and would have been happy to switch, had your company treated me right), however, your customer service is what has left a bad taste in my mouth. I have NEVER been treated like this by a company before. It is absolutely horrendous that you treat your customers the way that you have treated me. I'm surprised that you have so many good reviews on here. They clearly haven't been to other tanning places. I can only hope that in the future, when they have a scheduling issue, that you follow the "same policies" that you did with me. Then, they will see what I'm referring to. Thirdly, when I'm referring to the "booth" that you have set up, I was not referring to the machine that administers the spray. I was referring to the open air booth that you have set up in a corner of your store. It LOOKS like it is just a few sheets set up with PVC piping. I'm not 100% sure if it is actually PVC piping, but that is what it looks like. I have been to other spray tan places that have an actual booth in a separate room of their store, not in the corner where everything is open, and exposed. Best of luck with your "policies", and your small business in the future. You can count on the fact that I will NEVER recommend your business to anyone willing to listen. I always try and support local business when possible, but unfortunately, your small business will never see my business again. read more

I have had spray tans before and have never been happy with the results. I wanted to try airbrush tanning to avoid the orange color and this was probably the best choice I made. Went to see Adelia for my base tan, then Bre for my competition tan. The tan looked absolutely amazing! It was not that ugly orange that almost all the competitors had, but that dark bronze that glistened under the lights on stage.
