It was a gorgeous afternoon as well and I loved being on board. The captain was very engaging and eager to answer any of our questions. He displayed much patience from making sure everyone was catching and even when I had tried from catching so much, he fished with my rod. His love for what he does really showed through. He gave us a tip for catching them and every time we did it, we hooked up. The mates were awesome and as soon as you had a fish they were there taking it off your hook and putting in your cooler. One even sampled some fresh bunker lol ;-) The captain was even helping out and I don't remember too many if any captains on my previous trips with other vessels helping out like that. A lady on board caught 80 fish! If you are a lover of spot, definitely go with Bunky's. Another boat anchored next to us and was catching as well but they charge more, almost 50% more and I have no clue why. . . . Glad I went with Bunky's. I'm more of a game fisher myself so when there is an opportunity for them I'll be back.

The ride and time itself on the jet ski was great! All their machines looked to be in great running order. Overall, I had no issues at all during my experience. I've been coming to Colonial Beach for years! It's a great little getaway for fun in the sun and…read moresurf! Our family owned a little hot pink beach cottage for about 10 years and we made some wonderful memories here! There are two main roads: Colonial Avenue and Washington Avenue which House most of the businesses of CB. Irving Street runs along the river and some lovely architectural homes can be seen down this street. Visitors will love the trolley, or rent a golf cart to tool around this "golf cart" town! I prefer this smaller beach town to the hectic sands of Virginia Beach. This is the second largest beach in VA, with the aforementioned Va. Beach being #1. The sand is a tawny honey color, the beach stretches long and narrow, and the brackish water is serene on this part of the quiet Potomac River. You will see lots of boats, jet skis, kayaks on the river! The pier is a great spot for fishing, to take a break under the gazebo or pose for a photo op. The line of huge rocks offers a safety border as well as aesthetic appeal. There's a playground on one side of the beach, and some great shops, kiosks, and restaurants lining the boardwalk. The wildlife is amazing. I marvel at the osprey nests on the poles and pylons lining the riverside and on the bay, as well as the other birds and sea life you will find. I love the artsy vibe here; the town is splattered with cool murals on various buildings and has several art galleries and craft shops. There's just a few restaurants but they are nice! We love Lenny's for breakfast and have eaten at just about all the other places here: Dockside, High Tides, Riverboat, Four Seasons, The Lighthouse to name a few. In the summer months, don't miss Nancy's soft serve ice cream shop! You'll find a couple of grocery stores, wineries nearby, and plenty of places to stay including a few hotels and some B&Bs. Don't miss the antique and thrift/consignment shops. I've found many a bargain on this streets! This town takes pride in its community! There are lots of events and festivals year round! The 4th of July fireworks show is one of the best I've every seen! Typically there's not a huge crowd here, except for holiday traffic so it's the perfect spot to relax and take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city! So take a deep breath and exhale as you watch the waves and let the tide wash away your worries! CB is one of my happy places!

I've been trying to contact them all week about the $500 security deposit they agreed to return upon inspection of the jetskis. They inspected the jet ski the day after we used them and have since yet to return the deposits we Booked them for an event I had last weekend. Totally unprofessional guys. After asking me to dock their skis overnight, I welcomed them to our event . Allowing them to park their skis overnight and return in the morning to retrieve them. When they returned in the morning they said they have to inspect the jet skis to ensure they in tact them he'd return the deposit of $500. They drove off after giving me the okay saying there were no problems. Hours later after nothing had been sent back , i reached out to see when I should be expecting the deposit back . They have been giving me the run around since. I've called from numerous numbers n the guy Samar has just been picking up and hanging up. This is after Samar himself gave me his word that he'd return my deposit after making up some story how he just got robbed of his phones, wallet, and such . Do not book with these guys. They will scam you out of your security deposit! Never again
