I called several CPAs in the San Ramon/Danville/Dublin area to see if we could have a "filler" CPA go over numbers with us for this transaction. I must have called 25 CPA's in a day. Some answered and we're quick to tell me that I should push back, and make the seller do it. They made it seem like what I was looking for couldn't be done and they just didn't want to deal with it. Like many of the CPA's I called, Ken was busy when i first reached out. But his assistant or front desk person, Reese(if that's how you spell it) was very attentive with his responses. Ken is the only accountant that called back and only accountant that actually asked me the details/numbers of my transaction. Every time I would call her, she would text that she is in a meeting. EDD deducted $4k and called her to ask what this was for, she never replied back. Going into 2021, I thought she would process my payroll, either every six months or at the end of 2021, but she never did. She never answered my calls or texts. I was late for my 2021 taxes so I had to pay a penalty. On top of that, my 2020 payroll tax papers were never sent. She is horrible in returning calls or doing her job. I have a text from her saying that she would check on the $4500 that EDD charged me. It's been 6 months and she still hasn't answered. She is saying she is busy.
