I had an AWFUL experience here. My daughter is 12 years old, she wanted something from the kids menu as she normally does. Which it states (12 and under). Yes she looks older than she is, so what! The waitress we had assumed she was older! Do not assume. It is rude. When my daughter ordered she said "I can't give you everything because it's for 12 and under". Like hello?? Let's not promote assumptions please! This was just so disrespectful. She also just gave an attitude the whole time for no reason and my daughter had to ask for the ice cream that came with her meal because she didn't bring it out. Besides the service, it is freezing in there! And there was some disgusting smell at our table in the back With the drinks on the other hand, my daughter and I had ordered chocolate milk. It was literally white, there was like no chocolate in it. Then other people we were with had ordered sprite, they got straight water. So disappointed. Food didn't take too long to come out but there were some flaws. Small things such as we asked for no onions on a burger and they gave them anyways. Stopped by this place after some hunger-generating games of Laser Tag down the road. Lemme just say, OH MY LORD! Part 1- Jalepeno Cornbread was INCREDIBLE! It was so warm and the PERFECT compliment to a bitterly cold evening. Part 2 Wings: Vermont Maple Bacon was pretty solid although the sauce itself was relatively subtle and tame in flavor. Yesterday we ate lunch at Cow Patties one of our favorite places to stop and have burgers. I decided I'd try their pulled pork sandwich, a mistake. The pork was cut incorrectly it was long stands of dry, flavorless meat. The barbecue sauce was good but scant. The coleslaw only tasted of being refrigerated a long time. My spouse had the Caesar salad with chicken, another mistake. The chicken was cut into long dried out strands. I think the sous chef needs a few lessons in cutting. The lettuce was seriously wilted. The croutons were tiny cubes of dry white bread in the bottom of the bowl. The Caesar dressing was served in a little paper cut. Will we go back yes but we will stick to their burgers. read more

What an amazing new burger spot. Everything we ordered from their menu was delicious and cooked perfectly. We started with the fried pickles, and as someone who used to live down south, they nailed these. The seasoning was great and the dipping sauce was excellent. The border burger was incredible, and I loved all the fresh ingredients on it. The bacon and beer cheese build your own burger was equally good. Not pictured here are also mozzarella sticks that we ordered. They were thick and delicious with excellent marinara sauce. Also beware, the wing challenge is difficult, we didn't come out successful but the wings were good nonetheless. I'm already planning a trip back here. Definitely give cow patty's a try. I've been ordering takeout since they opened.. I can't have gluten and they have gluten free options The burgers are really good. I recently had the grilled fish sandwich on gluten-free bread and it was one of the best I've ever had. My husbands is not gf and bit of a food snob and he loves their burgers as well. Ordered here for the first time, the wait time was an hour and a half for pick up ? Not sure why, when we got there, it was empty. Nonetheless, the food was pretty good. We ordered the chicken sandwich and a burger (doesn't come with fries). Would def return to try the other menu items. read more

The burgers were really good. Hubby and I enjoyed our meal. A couple of minor items that bothered us. One thing that we feel is important in a burger is the bun. A good bun should last the entire burger and not fall apart. Salt Gastropub has a really good bun for their burger. The two buns we had - both Brioche and Pretzel - fell apart before we were finished. We also had a perception problem with the toppings pricing. $.25ea for lettuce, tomato, onions etc. I really don't want to pay for these toppings. I'd rather the $7 burger start at $8 and include these items at no charge. I don't want to feel like I'm being nickel and dimed for standard items. Not that I want to keep comparing Cow Patty's to other burger restaurants but OMG burger in Long Valley charges $10.50 for their custom burgers - they include fries, the bun and if you want them - lettuce, tomato, onion & pickle chips. Given that, next time we are in the area, we would definitely come to Cow Patty's again! read more

Definitely overrated and overpriced. Went for the first time last Sunday with the family. We placed our order and we waited. We're not the type of people to complain about the food when it takes a little longer than average, especially if we are having a good conversation amongst ourselves, after waiting for a while, we noticed that some time had passed. When I asked the waitress about our food, she had no idea kind of seem like she forgot about it, which made no sense to me because the place is small and there's only two waitresses when we were in there so kind hard to believe that you didn't notice that we didn't get our food. Finally after we got our food things weren't even right. I had ordered a custom burger. The burger was on the wrong bun. It had the wrong cheese, I asked for fried egg and it came with an over cooked dry egg, oh yeah and it also didn't have any bacon. After expressing all these concerns to my waitress, all we were given was a 10% discount which was ridiculous especially when our bill was $80 for three burgers. 12 wings and 3 sodas. I can tell you five guys burgers is way better by a long shot. I feel like people just go here because there's really nothing else to eat in the area besides some mediocre fast food places, and some other diners. definitely will not be coming here again. oh well, you live and you learn. Went for dinner last night but was disappointed. Limited menu which meant that the kitchen should be able to produce hot food in a timely fashion. Not the case. About an hour after ordering the burgers came out cold, the cheese wasn't even melted. Burger was tasty but would've been so much better if served hot and not well done. You aren't given a choice on how you'd like your burger cooked. Young man who seemed to be running the place could care less that customers were waiting so long for food. His excuse is they were slammed with take out - since when does a restaurant ignore in house customers for take out? Not a good business plan. Although we live locally we will not frequent this local establishment. I ordered online Monday for a pickup at 5:30pm, and the order was right on time. My wife selected the 'build your own' burger, and she though it wasn't anything to write home about. As described in other reviews, the burgers are not cooked to order. This was a 'one size fits all' which was too well done for my wife's taste. The crab cake sandwich which I had was ho-hum. Lots of filler without any indication that there were any crab parts. Everything was fresh, and there were no complaints with the slaw. Well, I'll be honest, I was intrigued with the name. The menu seemed really good and the burgers were described deliciously. They have a build your own burger option which both hubby and I elected to try. After ordering, I realized I was never given a meat doneness option. I flagged down the sever and was told all burgers are cooked medium well without an option for the customer to change this. Both my husband and I prefer rare burgers but I'd accept a medium burger for health reasons and possible health department protocol. That being said, these burgers were dry like shoe leather! The fries were delicious though. Not sure if we'd go back because of the dryness of the burger. Definitely would never order a burger there again. I think my burger was cooked to at minimum 170° as opposed to 155° The pickles were delicious but very small and the coke slaw portion cup was filled with about 2 tablespoons! I was expecting a side order portion. All being said, a bit over priced for portion size and their unwillingness to bend to customer preferences. The server revealed that I wasn't the first person this evening that took exception to the burger doneness. Wow! The best turkey burger I EVER had! Brie, fig spread, fresh apples & spinach on a delicious bun. SOOOOO GOOD! My husband enjoyed the pineapple jalapeño burger as well.
