We've been to this diner on a few occasions now and always really enjoy our visit. The staff is very friendly and the food is just delicious! There are gluten free options and so many items to select from on the menu. You'll definitely need a few moments to make a decision because I always find myself torn between what to choose. On my most recent visit, I got gluten free pancakes with chocolate chips and banana. They were delicious and my little one loved them as well. They also have amazing sausage. So good! My only recommendation would be to expand the location. The diner is pretty tight and it's a BIG hit so I'm sure it would be worth it. There is, however, a spacious lot. I definitely recommend the visit, and if there's a wait, it's worth it. read more

I walked into a wall of stiffiling heat. Apparently they have a/c for the cooks but not for the poor wait staff that has to run around on a busy Monday night alone or the customers. I was waiting at the counter for my takeout order and 3 couples walked in and left due to the temperature. This is completely unacceptable for the front staff and customers alike. Never again. Two strikes and you're out. The first time I tried this diner last month the food was ok but not great. The service was by far the worst I had ever experienced and I'm 65 years old. This time, my last time, I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, what I got was scrambled eggs with wheat toast and a bowl of whole black beans. With a cup of coffee this mess cost me 17.21. The waitress had no idea what she was doing and when I asked her about my breakfast she had no clue what Huevos Rancheros was. I paid for my meal and I will never set foot in that place again. Don't let the "dive vibe" deter you from entering the diner, the inside was cute and clean. We were promptly seated and starving! No worries there as the waitress came over immediately to take food and drink orders. The portion were tremendous, prices were more than fair and the food was delicious! My friend has a beef gyro, fries and Greek salad and I had country fried steak w/sausage gravy, eggs and home fries. What a satisfying and tasty meal with plenty of leftovers. We live 45 minutes away and were already planning our next road trip to visit the diner. Highly recommend! read more

The women waitresses we have had were very organized and prompt however when we see the male waiter, we leave. I believe his name is Ray and he is totally disorganized and does not prioritize based on when customers sat down. He takes drink orders and forgets to bring the drinks. The previous time we were there he forgot our drinks, salad and soup! He goes to 3 or 4 tables at a time and then puts the orders into the kitchen all at one time??? Very poor service, we were there last Tuesday and he never brought our drinks or took our order so we got up and left. He was clearing a table and the diner was full of customers! Suggest Ray be trained to prioritize and serve one table at a time. Some people just don't have the skills to be a waiter or waitress. read more

A very cute small diner on the side of the road next to the airport! Didn't expect much from it & it was way better than I could've imagined. It was so great I had to go back and try out the dinner menu two days later after such an amazing breakfast. Everything is fresh & flavorful. Breakfast I had the French toast with bananas & walnuts (they absolutely killed it!) with a side of over easy eggs, Canadian bacon with melted cheese on the eggs. & my spouse had the summer eggs Benedict. (Hollandaise sauce was sooooooo flavorful & the avocado was perfectly ripe). The waitresses was friendly and personable & I loved the fact that they knew customers by their first name. Dinner: I had the Cessna burger- med well. With fries Spouse had the vodka chicken parm (can't remember their exact wording for that sandwich) Cessna burger brought me to TEARS! (Maybe I'm just emotional and pregnant but hey! i couldn't even believe how delicious it was). I was so so so beyond happy eating it. I slabbed on a great amount of Mayo & went to town. Beautiful thick mushroom cap, the cheese was plentiful & melted beautifully. Even the bun holding all together was great! ( was it a potato bun??) fries were shoe string fries yum!! Oh and the pickle on the side was a perfect touch. Spouse dinner: the vodka sauce tasted homemade & garlicky ( yummmmy) nice thick cut of breaded fried chicken& beautiful amount of melted cheese on top! Also served with fries! Now onto my favorite part of this whole experience. THE FOOD IS SO CHEAP! Great portions, cheap eats, absolutely to die for flavoring. I am such such suchhhhhhh a big fan. Only downer I can say from my experience is the Pepsi isn't my fav, it's very sweet & not fizzy enough. Maybe the tap needs to be adjusted. But that's all according to preference. I go camping once a year near the Airport Diner, and always make sure to hit this diner at least once during the weekend. Pretty no frills all American type roadside diner- the kind that is disappearing quickly . At the airport diner the cushions in the booths are cracked. The coffee cups are (hilariously) mismatched. The wait staff may have to go through ur order with you a cpl of times to make sure they got it right..... Guess what? The Food is amazing. And cheap. Like, a really good meal for no money. I have no idea how they can keep it so cheap- they must be buying produce from the local farms, which are on the same road. There is NO WHERE ELSE in 2016 diner or no diner where you can get three sunny side up eggs with a ribeye, 2 hashbrowns, and 2 pieces of toast for $10. YOU READ THAT CORRECTLY. $10. My son normally orders the chicken tenders and they come with true steak fries, not the cheap shoestring fries that most diners give with the meal. I read a recent review on here that gave a one star because of service even though the food was good. Do yourself a favor and go to the airport diner for the food and prices. read more

As a family of 3 we saw that the airport diner was new and improved. That is far from the truth. We sat ourselves at a table that the waitress said was available. Once seated we were given our drinks rather quickly however we preceded to wait 40 minutes before our order was taken. While waiting everyone's food that passed us looked pretty good. In that time multiple booths had been turned over with customers several times. We asked the waitress with the blond multiple colored hair to refill our coffee and she said no problem. But then filled her customers and passed our cups right up. We finally ordered and received our food that was average. Our waitress apologized for the wait and gave us a 10% discount that was really nice. But the blond multiple colored hair waitress proceeded not to apply to our bill. I would not eat here again. It is a shame as there are so few breakfast spots available in our area. read more

Wow. I'm still in shock over this experience. I'd give no stars if it were an option. The food took forever to come out. We went for breakfast on a Sunday and even though there weren't many people they seemed very disorganized. Couldn't figure out who was service what table or whose turn it was to take customers. I finally ordered my omelet. It came out cold! Like so cold the cheese wasn't even melting! The sausage was bone dry. It was terrible! I called the waitress over to ask her why my omelet wasn't hot and she just rolled her eyes and picked it up without saying a word. She disappeared with the plate and 15 minutes later still hadn't come back. We flagged down another waitress who said she had left. I asked where my food was and she went to the back to look. Came back a few minutes later WITH THE OLD OMELET and said she was sorry, someone left it in the microwave-it was still cold!!! I told her as much and she seemed annoyed that I had a cold omelet and said "sorry, can you just order something else?" NO My husband and I got up, paid for just the coffee and walked out. Great little spot aesthetically and decor was fun to look at. Food and service is awful. I wouldn't recommend. read more

Stopped in to the newly renovated Airport diner last month and were well pleased with the entire experience. We were seated and served promptly in one of the new booths. The menu options were varied, the pricing good. Our waitress got everything right. The shrimp salad in my triple decker BLT appeared to be homemade and delicious. This place is going downhill fast. So many flies it's unbelievable. The food is not what it was a few months ago, and now besides blaring Fox fake news, they are also giving out Trump 2020 stickers and patches. My boyfriend and I have now been here 3 or 4 times. It's one of our favorite places to take a ride on the Harley to!! I have horrible food allergies and the waitress (who also does a lot of the cooking for those of you reviewers whining about how long food takes). The breakfast sandwich I get without fail is one of the best I've ever had. It's super cute, nothing fancy but still a fun little hole in the wall place!!! And again as someone with MAJOR allergies it's hard to find places I can eat. We've been pleased with this place and haven't had an issue. :) read more

Had breakfast here last week. Food was a disaster. Home fries were frozen then deep fried to order. Could be used for hockey pucks. Bacon was over cooked and not at all appealing. This place is far from fancy, but is very homey! The wait staff, Robin, Barb and Beth are so friendly. The food you get is home cooked and certainly inexpensive for what you get. There is a crowd of regulars that stop in often and are greeted by their first names. The only thing I didn't like is, I wish they had more soup varieties. I ordered the waffles with fresh fruit and it was beautifully plated and very yummy. It comes with two sauces - strawberry and vanilla sauce - and has a light sprinkling of powdered sugar. My boyfriend got the western omelette with home fries and said everything was seasoned and cooked well. The prices are a bit cheaper than other diners in the area too. read more
